This is the worst pharmacy EVER! I would avoid this place at all costs. The head pharmacist is completely incompetent and has driven away all of the techs so wait time is forever. She also is computer illiterate and is unable to process insurance correctly. BE WARNED! Prescriptions are never done until you physically show up, the drive through is almost always closed and they won't answer the phone.

God awful customer service in the Pharmacy. I’ve never been yelled at before until this store. I’ve worked in customer service for 20 yrs. , I’m beyond understand and came back a day later just to give them ample time to fill my prescription. Yet, my prescription was not filled and rather than explaining to me the situation and the next step I was yelled at by 2 people and told to “just sit down” like a child because they were to busy. Never again.

Awful customer service! The pharmacy hours change so often you have no idea when you can pick up your prescriptions! They would not fill one of my regular medications I have taken every day for 10 years and acted like they didn't care if I went through severe withdrawal symptoms! Pharmacy staff is not properly trained to take care of issues. They just refuse to help you. Do yourself a favor and shop Pocomoke City Pharmacy for your medication needs!!!

I have dealt with this riteaid for over 20 years. I'm very unhappy with the recent service I received. I went to the Dr for an antibiotic and then waited all day for notification that my prescription was ready. At 651 pm I called and was told that they were only filling prescription for people that came in and waited. Then I was told they closed at 7pm and would stay closed until Monday. I rushed to the store so I could start my medication. Why would I go to the Dr at 8am on a Friday if I wanted to wait until Monday for my medication. Absolutely ridiculous. I will probably be taking my business elsewhere.UPDATE: My prescriptions are now being held hostage. Went to a local pharmacy to have my prescriptions moved from rite aid to their store. They told me they had many people do the same thing the past two weeks and rite aid does not respond, not to fax or phone call. So I went to rite aid to tell them to move everything. They told me when they had time. So now I have to call my Dr's office to have new prescriptions sent in. Poor business. Also, corporate messaged me and said someone would be in touch. 10 days and nothing. Save yourself time and trouble. Go somewhere else

Go to Walmart for Pharmacy. You will die before your Rx's are filled with the Drive-thru closed, long lines, long wait times, and Rx's not ready 48 hours after being sent in. Pharmacy will not fill your Rx until you are physically in their line and then you'll have to wait, too. Don't waste your precious time with such nonsense.

I understand the pharmacy changed their hours but the store just closes early this Saturday for no apparent reason? Not sure what is going on at this location, Brandon the pharmacist that was here was top great! It seems he has left and since the staffing issues have been a huge issue and this location has been overlooked by the corporate. Maybe it is time we start moving our business to the little pharmacy in town. Such a same.

I am a type 1 diabetic and I was in the area for vacation. I had misplaced parts for my insulin pump in my travels and was in need of insulin syringes bad. I had walked up to the pharmacy counter and was barely acknowledged. It almost seemed as though I had somehow bothered them needing assistance. I asked for the insulin syringes and they responded "prescription only, do you have a prescription". I explained I was out of town so I dint have one and all they said was "prescription only". I understand if it's company policy (which at no point did they mention) but a little politeness would have gone a long way. Especially to someone with a high blood sugar.

Love this store. Most Rite Aid's I have visited in the past are dingy and asking a question is bothering the associates. In Pocomoke MD the store is clean and welcoming. Kimberly is always smiling and very helpful.

Made an appointment for covid shot time was given 10:09. There are dozen people ahead of me with earlier appointments and no one has been done yet. Line is growing. What good is an appointment. I asked if person was here and the lady said yes its me and she's just getting her things together. Not impressed at all right now! Bad customer service.

Took my child to Docs In in Pocomoke MD they sent his rx over to this location when I arrived to pick up rx I had insurance cards in hand and told the pharmacy tech he had new insurance she stated that they had the information and did not except it! I had to ask for his rx to be transfered to a pharmacy 20 minutes away to get the rx filled. I called Rite Aid the next day they do except his insurance the problem was the information they had was 8 years old. I did explain at time of pickup he had new insurance and try ed to hand the cards over but I was completely dismissed. If you have a sick child that needs meds I wouldn't waste my time on a company that has no time to clarify the right information! I have one word....LAZY!
