The slimiest dealership on the eastern shore. Traded my truck in for a crosstrek to get better gas mileage. They knowingly never disclosed the vehicle was in an accident. After I found out about it after having the vehicle for a little and confronted them to make the situation right they acted as if they didn’t care that they ripped me off. Wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this dealership. Ashamed to claim a family oriented business in a small town and operate business this way.

Don't buy anything used here without an extended warranty. After putting 3100 miles on my vehicle, I found oil leaking externally from one of the head gaskets and was told it wasn't severe enough to cover under warranty.I had also found remnants of a mouse nest under the intake manifold, evidence of body repairs not reported on the AutoCheck report, a headlamp with a broken mounting tab, and a failing wheel bearing.I serviced the transmission after putting about 4500 miles on the vehicle and found the filter and fluid full of friction material and, worse, metal shavings.I have put over $1,000 in parts on this truck in less than 6 months, the transmission will likely cost me about $5,000 when it decides to fail completely (8-speed ZF), and I still need to replace the head gasket.I had figured that the vehicle wouldn't develop any major issues for a few years, due to the low mileage and age, therefore I opted not to purchase the extended warranty. I did not account for the abuse it has apparently been subjected to.

Excellent service from sales to maintenance. Ordered a 2023 Forester in May from Tom Goff the sales representative. Tom kept me updated on the progress until delivery in early August. Car was delivered in perfect condition. Rob the service manager has provided great service for our cars since 2005. Very happy with this dealership and would recommend purchasing a Subaru from them and using their service department for your car’s maintenance.

Stopped in here to have our SRS light checked while on vacation. These guys had us in-and-out in under a half hour, and they were so friendly! Several service and sales staff stopped by to greet us and our 70 lb lab puppy (who they welcomed in the lobby with lots of pets) and complimentary sodas and water. We love our Subaru dealership back home, and we had similar feelings about our experience here! Moose even says thank you!

This was our first time at Buchanan Subaru. We were not certain what we wanted. Jen was our first contact & listened to what our needs were for a new SUV. Jen recommended that we check out the Outback because we have 2 Blue heelers. Jen, Rob & Jeff were very helpful to help us make our decision. We ended up with the Outback. Plus they gave a us a goody bag to take home to our heelers. Our pups loved it :) Excellent service from the whole team. Please keep up the good work. The sticker showed no cryptic fees or charges. I really wasn't expecting that. Every other dealership I've to been added bogus and confusing costs that you had to haggle them out of. Nothing was added to the deal at the last minute as I've seen done elsewhere, and all the finance info the staff gave me proved to be correct when I checked on it. Don't know about future staff but I can say the people there right now are honest and trustworthy.

I bought my 2018 Outback from this dealer last fall. I live quite a distance from the dealership and they promised if I needed service and had difficulty coming to the dealership they would bring me a loaner and then return my car to me at my home when service was complete. They have been true to their word. Every person at that dealership is pleasant and strives to help you do anything you need. The service department is superb, hat's off to Robie and Mark the service advisors, who always go the extra mile. See the two cars in the snow in my pic? After the blizzard, only one of them was able to get out of the snowbank and onto the road where it performed in it's all-wheel drive flawlessly. What a super automobile! Love, love, love it!

I highly recommend Buchanan Subaru to anyone who is in the market to buy a vehicle. Thomas “Tom” Goff (my sales consultant) was FANTASTIC to work with. I was very “picky” about the car I wanted and Tom was very patient and accommodating! He was an absolute professional! We coordinated everything via phone & email and when the perfect car arrived, I was able to go to the dealership and complete the purchase with absolutely no hassle. Tom is the reason I chose to work with Buchanan. Also I’d like to stress that the customer service at Buchanan, even after the sale, has been phenomenal! We purchased a 22 Forester from Rob Creel at Buchanan Subaru in Pocomoke Md. last fall, it was delivered with NO upcharge in January ! We are 100% satisfied with the service department, the ease of making an appointment and their attention to detail. Rob Creel is the ONLY auto salesperson in all my 77 years that I have trusted so implicitly. He delivered our car to Delmar and spent ample time explaining all the new features to us senior citizens.Rob is responsive, responsible, very educated in all aspects of Subarus. I had a question this week, he not only answered it but came by to ensure I was comfortable. As I said they did NOT charge any upcharge on purchase. We did not find this kind of service in the Salisbury area. Thanks and keep Rob in mind when looking for a new vehicle.

Another outstanding purchase, Outback, from Buchanan Subaru. We live in a neighboring state, approximately 110 miles from the Dealership but that didn't prevent Rob from making us feel like a local.Any questions we had were answered in full. After we decided on what model Subaru we wanted. Rob C. and Mike M. presented an offer that worked for us. No game playing, no "got'a buy it today" like car dealers of old. Honestly had a great experience with the front service desk staff, however the one manager was rude and condescending, the repair work was done incorrectly, and if you decide to get something repaired here, you have to be a mechanic or bring one with you to make sure they fix your car properly/ don't overcharge you for something that is not needed. Wouldn't recommend it for anyone unless your husband is cheating on you and you want to ruin his car maybe. Gave one star because 0 isn't allowed and if you want to get screwed over and lied to while thats being done this is the place to go.

Please take the time to read this before considering this dealership to purchase a vehicle from. This dealership has done an awful job at following up and serving a customer after they have received their money. They did a good job in staying in contact with me before I bought my car, but once they got their money they have done an awful job. I’ve had the car for 5 months and since then I’ve had to put over half of what I paid for it into fixing the car. The general manager has put off talking to me and passed it off to his employees. Not sure about you, but that doesn’t scream a good leader to me. They have done countless things to not uphold the good name of Subaru and I regret buying a car from them. I won’t bore you with every detail, but please consider my advice and save yourself much hassle by looking into other dealers. My true rating is 0 out of 5 stars.
