I’m a big fan of Ace hardware stores and I’m very loyal to them. I avoid the big two because I like the mom and pop nature of an Ace. Usually they are very helpful and have better customer service. Not this one. Which is hilarious because they have maybe the worst location I’ve ever seen. So if this location isn’t going to win on customer service, they aren’t going to be around much longer. Head to Onley or Exmore.

I went into Ace of Eastern Shore Pocomoke to buy a Treager grill for Mother's Day. I looked on website and the grill is on sale. I go into store and that won't honor it unless I buy online?? So i go on line and buy the grill and check the box to have assembled when I pick up. Wait a full week to be called to pick up only for it to be still in the box. They would not assembly it because it was on sale??? Don't advertise free assembly if you can't honor it. Terrible experience with this Ace. Take the time and go to Chincoteague Ace.Side note Grill is awesome.

Went to compare shop bbq's. Personnel were very helpful, but most importantly, they didn't shadow me while I shopped. When I had a question, it was answered, and they gave us our space again. Will return in the future.

It’s very tricky to get to … I’m sure gps has helped his business a lot … had what I needed Nice professional staff …beware they do close early or at least the day I was there -check hours first . Would Recommend .

I went in to have keys made but they didn't have all the ones I needed. Only had 2 out of 5 so had to go to Lowes. The attendant was polite and as helpful as he could be.

Went to their open house today. Fantastic store. Had the store fully stocked looking great. They had a cook out with some of the various grils they sell.food was amazing. The staff where very friendly and very helpful. I'll be back often.

We spent a lot of money renting equipment from Ace in Pocomoke Md. They sent us out with equipment that needed repairs. They sent them out with no fuel. Which cost us the customer a lot of money and upset our customers because we couldn’t complete our jobs in a timely manner. That’s the way we do business in a timely manner. It hurt our business not theirs. They would get equipment in at 7:30 am and send it out at 8 am without it being serviced examined or filled with fuel. They also do not inspect machines before sending them out with you. They then will blame damages on you for broken equipment. A good practice would be to take pictures before it left the lot and when it returned for each customer so innocent customers are not to blame. I even suggest this practice to them. Now I am band from renting equipment from them. That’s a women standing up for herself in a man’s business world. That’s ok I will prosper in my business without ace hardware in Pocomoke Md. Their loss not mine. Their mechanic is lazy and does not even know how to operate his own equipment. He had me out on one of my job sights with the machine broke down again. Literally holding down pedals underneath this big piece of equipment. I finally told him I was feeling very unsafe doing so and would not continue putting my life in jeopardy, due to the fact he didn’t know what he was doing!!!! Beware when renting from these people. They discriminate against women!!!!

I used to live in Pocomke but recently moved to Salisbury, Md and our Ace does not rent tables. It was well worth the drive to come to this location. I rented 7 tables for a big party I had. After the party clean up I couldn't get one of the tables to fold. I loaded my Rav4 with the other six tables and intended to go mess with the seventh table until I got it folded. Some kind of way I got distracted and forgot about the 7th table leaning against the deck in my backyard. I came back to Ace to return the tables and as I opened the hatch to unload my Rav4 I realized I only had six tables. I felt like an idiot realizing I was going to have drive 40 minites back to Salisbury to get the last table. I explained to the Manager about my mistake and offered to go get the table or buy it outright from him. He said, "don't worry about it part of rental business". He basically just let me have a table because I'm an idiot. This is by far the best customer service I have ever experienced in any retail situation in my life. Harris Ace has unmatched service. I will absolutely keep making the drive from Salisbury to work with them.

This store is recently remodeled with a super helpful staff. You can find good stuff that the big box stores don't carry. It harkens back to old school hardware stores.
