It's so nice having a high quality pet store 2 miles from me! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They sell my dog's quality dog food, Instinct raw. They also offer bonus perks etc for those who shop there often. I highly recommend Bark! Especially this location!PS they recently changed their name! And you can order online! Loyal Companion is a great company!

I've been shopping at this location for quite some time now, and every visit is another reason for me to return. Jackie and the rest of the crew are always incredibly friendly, quick to help in any way they can, and very knowledgeable. She helped us solve a digestive issue with our dog that even the vet couldn't offer solid advice for after he lost 30 pounds in one summer. On top of helping us pick out a locally made food he loves, she helped us with a digestive support regimen that has worked perfectly for nearly a year.A great local chain, with the crew it needs to keep people coming back regularly. I would definitely recommend shopping here for your pets' needs.

I come to this store for my dog Penelope. We've been coming here for about 8 years now, the store was first named Bark. What I love most about the store is their selection and their staff, Rachel in particular. She remember's my dogs name, my name and even my mom who shops there for my dog too. The store has an amazing variety of toys, food, and other various accessories that help being a pet owner an even more awesome responsibility.

This is a great store for petowners. Rachel is friendly and very helpful. She and her team have arranged special orders, recommended web purchases when they are out of a product and loyal companion has it on the website. Add in the discounts and reward coupons and convenient location, it is a no-brainer. Why would I go somewhere else? Oh, and let's not forget their work with pet adoption societies and their commitment at various times of the year to donate. .

What a phenomenal experience when Greyson is barking he is anxious to visit Loyal. Not just for the great food selections ,delicious treats, free samples and unique toy options but also to visit Rachel and Jackie the most talented and knowledgeable Manager and Assistant Manager that keep us returning. There is always something to learn from these ladies most important to see the love and respect they provide to all pets.

Im in love with this shop and so is my adopted pup Sammy- we go there few times a week for treats and toys and special events! The team is AMAZING - Rachel and the crew are fantastic - they care...they take the time to get to know the customer and their fur baby...the shop is always clean, merchandised perfectly, stocked and I really like all the high quality products they carry...Sammy loves to come for all the attention ;)

The lovely ladies that operate Bark! are so sweet and very helpful. They have high quality toys and chews, which is great for busy dogs, dogs with skin or stomach issues, etc. They are very knowledgeable and patient. They only sell high quality stuff, which means toys are a bit more expensive but they last forever, unlike the cheapies that are ripped open and spewing stuffing in less than 90 seconds from the big-box pet stores. They also have several punch-card programs for pet food (by x number, get a bag of pet food free). A wonderful small business that I and my dog have now made our favorite!

I just had the most mortifying experience ever! Me and my fiance walked into the store where there was a store employee that was already engaged in a conversation with a customer. Well when we walked in he looked and didn’t speak! I have been in Petco where there might have been a store employee stocking the shelves and spoke to me. As to where I walk into a store and there no acknowledgement. That was of course until he seen a bag in my hand! So now HIM and the CUSTOMER are staring at me as a walk along the store. But still says nothing! Now not to play the race card in this but as soon as another caucasian woman walked into the store. He immediately spoken to her! Now I have only heard of these mortifying experiences... but never in my life would I thought I would have experience that! And regardless of your race. You know when you and people like you are NOT welcome somewhere. I’ll be taking my money somewhere where there’s a diversity within their company. Companies that have diversity seem to have EXCELLENT customer service. It’s sad, because every one is HUMAN! At the end of the day what better way to treat another HUMAN the way YOU would want. First and last time!NEVER AGAIN!😡 I’ll Be taking my money else where...preferably where my money and CULTURE is welcome!

I love shopping at Loyal Companion in Pikesville and would give them ten stars if possible! The great selection of dog foods and quality pet supplies is one reason, but it is the excellent customer service that keeps me coming back. Rachel and her team go out of their way to help with wonderful advice on pet foods and supplies for my pups. My pups Koda and Piper love visiting as well and getting loving attention from Rachel and her friendly team.
