The produce here is really great 9 out of 10 times. They have good sales on seltzer and cereals. The problem is that the sale items never ring up the correct price, so make sure you watch the prices as they're rung up to ensure you're being charged the correct amount.

While shopping in your store, an employee (Vernon) mentioned that poultry was on sale. He took the time to show me the location of the product. We had a brief conversation about a recipe of mine that I enjoy preparing. Stuffing drumsticks!. Mr Vernon was very engaging and knowledgeable about your store's merchandise. His countenance and pleasant demeanor were so organic. It isn't often that compliments are forwarded as much as complaints. I thought I'd that take the time to say KUDOS to Mr. Vernon (I didn't get his last name) in the Meat Dept. What a stellar employee. It has not gone unnoticed. As satisfied CustomerRenee Taft

My wife and I were in the Pikesville stor this afternoon at about 4pm. There were only 2 cashier's working. The lines were backed up the isles. I went to customer service to request other lanes be open to accommodate the very long lines only to be told that there were no other cashiers scheduled to work today. I think this is very poor customer service.

Giant has the best ever store brand Amish Potato Salad. It is so good that I switched from my (swore I'd never give up) Resers brand. Even their coleslaw is amazingly tasty and fresh. Both are the perfect sides that require no prep work.

Besides nothing being on the bread shelfs....there was a loaf of bread with a blue mold piece I side still on the shelf. Worst experience ever. Will drive to the Owings Mill store from now on.

I find my going here several times a week as they are so close by. Very impressed with the organic selection overall. Prices with bonus card and digital coupons actually very nice. Always security and no issues. Two things I've noticed lately: 1) came one night, barely anyone in the store, all the carts were out front and zero small carts? Help me understand this? Either they have all been stolen or idk? Can you please invest in 25+ more small carts? Everyone hates the larger ones. 2) don't mind the 20 items or fewer at self-checkout as surely there was too much theft, but the register sometimes is on speed patrol, literally freezing if I don't bag quick enough or move something. I'm sure there is a way to go back to the normal scanning time, now that people are buying fewer items, why make it so rushed? Thanks in advance for listening and hopeful for change!

I just went there for celery and onions. I ended up getting soup also since they have such a wide variety as well as spices. I still couldn't find Jane's Crazy Mixed-Up Salt though.

This is a perfectly fine Giant. The shelves are well stocked. The venue is kept neat and clean. The prices are reasonable considering there's rampant inflation.I particularly like the pharmacy in Giant because, using the GoodRx app, I can fill my prescription for generic viagra for under $15. The same prescription would have cost around $250 using the GoodRx app at a nearby CVS. Without the app, the same prescription would have cost around $1,000.One of my blood pressure meds is quite expensive at CVS even with Medicare Part D. I had my doctor switch the prescription to Giant, and using the GoodRx app, I saved $100. If I can save $100 on a 3 month supply of one BP med, Medicare ought to be able to save billions of dollars by doing whatever it is that GoodRx does.I also bought some prune juice while I was there. We old folks need prune juice every so often. It's delicious.

There are some great employees at this Giant, exceptionally fine people in numerous departments who work very hard and who I've come to know over the years and seeing them is a big reason I come back weekly. So far as I can tell, the store is also generally clean and well stocked, and it's conveniently located for me. But the computer systems, between the e-coupons and checkout scanners, routinely have errors, presumably programming errors, generally in the store's favor. Perhaps not everyone does, but I review the receipts fairly closely (but frequently not until I'm home and have more time) and generally catch the problems. If these things were rare it'd be one thing, but they happen frequently, including last week and this week (this week there was a great 4/$10 strawberry/blueberry offer for which I bought the qualifying items, only to reach the car to find I had been charged $16.30). The customer service folks see me so frequently I long ago wore out my welcome with them and I dread having to go to the customer service desk (so I try, in instances where I can, to phone the 888 corporate customer care line for help), where also there's frequently a line as there's only one staffer. I also realize the computer issues are not their fault, so it's probably as frustrating for them as for me. It's great that Giant offers things like e-coupons, flexible rewards, and other special deals, but clearly they don't have the computer end of things satisfactorily nailed down.I realized on getting home from the store this week they gave me Boar's Head turkey instead of the Giant turkey I expressly asked for (b/c we prefer the taste of the Giant brand), last week there was yet another receipt error. Giant offers lots of platitudes about trying to get it right, keeping the customer happy, etc., but the fact of the matter is that if you're a discerning customer who's not interested in this or that error every week, you're best off shopping elsewhere.02/04/2023 Giant update. Today's pricing flaw was on Crest toothpaste, that absolutely was tagged with a digital 2/$3 tag, of which I took a photo and even asked the store stocker as I was purchasing it if it was right, that rang up 2/$6. After a good ~8 minute "conversation" with the customer service clerk and manager (who said "she'd look into it," but I've been told that countless times and the errors continue), where they had to walk to the aisle to see despite the photo I took, they "gave me" (as if they were doing me a favor) the deal that they were advertising. Yes I got angry and no I don't think it's the employees' fault, it's a corporate computer system generated issue. But it happens every week. I continue to shop at the store solely because it's close to the house; but the constant pricing errors, which amounts to corporate incompetence, really anger me . . . . But a final note. On getting home from the store, I immediately phoned the Giant corporate customer service (a consumer affairs person answered) and I spoke with the most astute, dead-on accurate customer service person I have ever spoken with about anything. He totally got the issue, how it's problematic for the consumer and the store, etc. I so totally appreciated everything he had to say, and as I started with above, Giant does have some exceptional people working for it.I left that original review in February 2023. One might have hoped some of these issues would have been resolved. Nope. I visited the store yesterday, 6/4/2023, to get the latest correction/refund because the advertised 4/$12 berries instead rang up as $17.52. If one is really wedded to getting accurate product pricing (in these inflationary days, who isn't?) then unless you are prepared to diligently study your receipt, it's probably best not to go to Giant (though I don't know if other vendors are better). Recently also I sent a customer service e-mail to which they failed to respond, as they seem no longer to respond to any of my e-mails.

I gave this giant a low rating due to the seafood dept. You need to get people that wanna work that seafood counter everyone has an attitude customer service is poor they act like u bothering them. I definitely prefer the Giant in reisterstown md the customer service is superior. Nasty folks at the other Gianr do better

The ladies restroom was ridiculously outrageous Monday 3/20/23! All the human waste was visibly noticeable. I mean all! I can’t believe the staff frequent this ladies room. Staff must have a separate restroom! Where there is food sold the public restrooms should be clean routinely. Informed customers service with hopes it was handled according.BEWARE /HEALTH DEPARTMENT

I don't live in Pikeville so I haven't been to this Giant is quite awhile. This day, 4th of July, was extremely busy but there was only two registers open with the lines going down the isles. The self checkout, which I chose, was just as long and took far more time than usual. In addition, some of the shelves we're bare due to the holiday. Do better Giant.

This Giant location is my normal go too they always have items in stock and they have self checkout which is very convenient, the staff is friendly and helpful if assistance is needed and the location for me is great it’s on my way home from work or on my way to work almost in the middle of both, a huge plus is they always have carts and baskets available and I can’t say that for quite a few other places but this particular Giant over all is pretty good

This giant has a larger kosher section than most, if that is important to you. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store is clean.

This location is further down the street than from my usual location. I sought out special items that are in short supply and found it helpful to have locations that are close by.

Chicken has been dry lately. my favorite, chick. caesar salad has been so disappointing due to that fact so stopped going there as often, not worth the inflation increase.

The store is clean, shelves are stocked, and product availability is awesome. Don't expect pleasant customer service from some of the employees. After today, I'm giving 2 stars because of the rude, impatient, poor customer service I received from April. I needed help with several payment methods. She was working self-checkout. Another employee usually works self-checkout. April made it clear; and her behavior showed, she doesn't like working self-checkout. Giant Food is still my favorite store.

Hello everyone Giants food store is still to costly for me because I am on a budget, not able to work anymore,so I shop mainly for lamb shoulder chops, which is a good price around 7 dollars just for me. I cut back on snacks and bread for health reasons to keep my salt and sugar down to almost zero intake and for me it works. Healthy shopping!

The florist here was just wonderful and nice. She was just the sweetest woman ever. I want to also give an honor to the Pharmacist Tiarra who not only was concerned with my prescriptions being handled correctly but she also was concerned with my overall health. Tiarra represents Giant very well. She is wonderful. The hot bar is always stocked with multiple and variable food items. I attend this location whenever I am in the area.
