I've been a customer of CVS in Target for a few years. It's near my home, and it accepts my insurance. They do a good job of filling my prescriptions and a fair job of texting me when they're ready to be picked up.There's often a line of customers waiting to pick up prescriptions. Sometimes they operate a second cash register to expedite those pickups. One big problem with this location is that it's nearly impossible to get them on the phone. A smaller problem is that there’s a long walk from the parking lot to the pharmacy inside Target. If you don't mind those issues, this CVS in Target is valid.

Let me share with you all. Don't sleep on CVS. The coupon rewards program is excellent. Items are always on sale. It's clean and well stocked. I should get some stocks. Manager's are excellent. I brought a case of this water. With my percentage off. I saved a lot 😌 🙏

They keep canceling my Trulicity medication. They did it 3 times. I called the pharmacist and they said I should go elsewhere, what good is a pharmacy if they don’t have the drugs you need.

I'm not sure who is running this pharmacy but it has changed to the worst. Shut this place down. They told me come back in hour and when I returned 4 hours later they say they don't have a record of having my son prescription. So it's Friday evening and doctors are closed. 😞

I absolutely loathe picking my prescriptions up here. I’m pretty sure they don’t even bother picking up the phone anymore, so there’s no way to ask them a question. I always get a text confirmation, confirm with the app, then also try to get a verbal confirmation that the script is ready. Even then, they usually have all or part of the order missing when I arrive and get really passive aggressive/huffy when they have to fix it, in spite of my best efforts to prevent that and me doing all the legwork for them. They consistently have issues with keeping anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications in stock, and they don’t communicate or give me a heads up when that’s the case. This location has caused me to go into withdrawal three times in the past year from either extreme delays or a complete lack of communication. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a while because all pharmacies are understaffed and having supply issues, and I also greatly sympathize with those in customer service jobs, but this place is next level careless. There’s not even a modicum of effort, they all just seem very content to mishandle something as serious as people’s medications lol. I’m officially in disbelief. Go anywhere else if you can.

Awful experience. This is not a one time incident. It’s been for years. Staff says sorry all the time. No one answers the phone and today the manager says, “We are frustrated too…our phone system is broken”. My last time there was today!Worst part is I may run into similar issues at other CVS pharmacies. We are there because we need meds and they know it. It’s so sad. Our insurance pays for this service. I’m over it! If we could give no stars I would.

Usually awful service. I have been told several times to call around to other CVS to find a drug they didn't have in stock. I find that to be HORRIBLE customer service. Why would I be expected to do that. My doctor hates this place. They told me they didn't have a cough medication and never even tried to get it. I called several times and always got the same answer " I don't know when we will ever have this." This was prescribed after I got COVID. One of the pharmacist was extremely rude, thankfully I haven't seen her lately I hope she has moved on.

Don’t waste your time using this location. It could be 5-10 employees working behind the counter and they will all ignore you while you wait 10+ minutes for them to even give you the time of day and when they finally DO give you the time of day they act ghetto and respond with an attitude. This has been my experience every time I’ve gone here AS WELL as when I’ve called their phone.

Waited for an hour for my prescriptions. No message ever sent to say they're ready. When it's been an hour and 10 minutes, I head back, and only 2 of the 3 are ready. One was "somehow" put on hold so it wasn't filled. They were conveniently closing for lunch so I had to wait even longer for the 3rd one. Bonus- I watched them roll down the shutter in a guy's face. CVS is genuinely the worst.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to in my life, the customer service is non existent. I pick up medication for my dog and someone put his name in the system as my first name and his last name. They tried to tell me I never picked up his previous prescription there because they couldn’t find it. Had to come back the next day and waited around 40 minutes for them to finish the prescription. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

On a month to month basis they fail to fill the perception properly and then blame the provider for not sending it in. Provider showed us proof they sent it in. Switching to Wegmans.Update: Because of life being busy we didn't change pharmacies, we called in two prescriptions, were told they'd be ready by noon. They weren't. Went back at 4, system was down and they had no back up plan, went back before 8, got one perception, other one wasn't in system, they went to fill it, didn't have enough, wouldn't give me what they had as a partial fill (note: I have gotten partial fills there before). The prescription I did get was a liquid, and clearly wasn't capped right and leaked in the bag.Life will not get in the way again. The incompetence and (worse) uncaring manner of the staff there is horrific and CVS would be better off as a company if they simply fired everyone and closed this branch.

Nothing is ever ready, and after waiting forever for them to complete the order, they give you the wrong prescription.

Doctor sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy, so I needed to get the prescription transferred from a CVS in PA to this one.. CVS in PA told me this one in MD will need to call them to get it transferred. Just spent 45 minutes trying to get ahold of the pharmacist. Finally got ahold of her and she told me that CVS in PA would need to call them and I said no.. so she took the information for the CVS in PA (right then I knew she wasn't going to call and get it transferred). She asked what medication it was that I needed transferred and IMMEDIATELY told me "I don't have that, I'll have to order it." And I told her I was getting this same exact medication from this CVS in MD just a few months ago. And again she told me she didn't have it and that she'd have to order it and it wouldn't be ready until Tuesday next week and I need to start taking it Sunday. Offered me no other help to make sure I get my medication.I will be finding another pharmacy. Don't waste your time with this one!

Go to another location. The staff here genuinely doesn’t have a clue on customer service practices let alone how to fill prescriptions. It’s been 3 times now I’ve gone to the location and had a horrible experience. Now, all of a sudden they don’t take my insurance. That’s funny, because the CVS at the Target in Cockeysville takes the same insurance for one of my family members still.

This Pikesville CVS located in Target is the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever filled prescriptions at. Average minimum wait time of at least 30+ minutes on hold before anyone picks up the phone anytime you call there. The staff including the pharmacists are lacking in phone manners, pharmacy organizational skills and they have don't have a adequate system in place for prioritizing urgent scripts such as heart medications, pediatric antibiotics or psychiatric medications. I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

Pharmacist was incredibly rude and rolled his eyes at me after I apologized for not hearing him call on me right away despite already having been waiting in line for a while. He then delayed helping me to help 2 other customers, when I literally just needed him to hand me the bag- which usually doesn’t bother me but he had already rolled his eyes at me implying I was wasting his time. Terrible customer service.

They choose who they would like to be helpful with. There is no reason why I had no issues with receiving text reminders of pick up for items before. I called as soon as they opened and instead of stating that they didn’t order the medicine I was told I could pick it up today and I would receive a text message with the confirmation. Six hours later no call and no message, I call back and was told what I needed had to be ordered and asked did I know the cost.At this point I am frustrated because that’s not the communication from earlier. I proceed to ask for supervisor and was placed on hold. The woman Brittany gets back on the phone after the call hung up and instead of simply apologizing for the miscommunication the conversation becomes combative and I was told they can transfer it to another pharmacy. That’s fine but when asked to verify the number on file I was told “you are signed up on the number I just called you on.” Never the less, this pharmacy needs better customer service training at the end of the day, you provide service for customers and your responsible as apart of your job to ensure every person gets what they need in a timely manner. Period.

It's always one problem or the other-they told me my prescriptions would be ready in 15 mins, went back in 2 hrs for them to tell me they were backed up and the pharmacist was just getting it ready. I had to wait another 10 mins for her to get them ready. The worst experience of all was when they used my old insurance card to fill a prescription as a result, they only able to get me ONE pill instead of 18 pills I usually get. Had to call their 1800- number and some 2 weeks to realise the mistake. The list of unprofessionalism goes on...

Pharmacist mgr. Refused to fill my Insulin, because I was out of state said it had to be an emergency. I knew this was not a fa. I called corporate office. They tried to cover for her. I got my insurance carrier on the phone. And they told target cvs to fill my prescription. There should not of been a problem. The cvs mgr. At a later date again delayed to fill my prescription. She should be fired she is playing God.. she laughed at me and my condition. They need to put a camera on her to see her evil ways. I have been a customer of cvs over 30 years. And I have never seen so much evil. I changed my location.. I beg cvs to put a camera in this pharmacy to watch het

Went to pick up a prescription. Waited in pick up line for 10 minutes. Then they made me go to drop off line because they needed to update my insurance on file. After waiting in that line they then made me go back to pick up line because they couldn't run payment through drop off line. So had to go to the back of pick up line again. Ridiculous.

Worst experience ever!!!! All of my future prescriptions will be filled at Walgreens. First, the CVS pharmacy in Target at the Pikesville, MD location didn't have the medication I needed to fill my prescription. Which wasn't a big deal, nor did I have a problem waiting 15 minutes in line for them to tell me that because they were training a new associate on how to process new customer, everyone has to learn, no problem. Now, since they didn't have my prescription, I had to go to the CVS pharmacy in Milford on Liberty and Rolling road, where the level of professionalism is on pare with that of a kindergartner. While there, one of the associates and I waited on hold for 20 minutes for the CVS pharmacy in Pikesville to put my prescription hold so that they can fill it at there location. One hour later I finally have my prescription. Never again!

I’ve had two interactions with the staff at this CVS counter and both were great. The care and time spent with me was an indication of the level of professionalism and care for their patients. Shout out to Brittany, especially!

GARBAGE CVS LOCATION. Thoughtless, careless, ignorant pharmacy crew showcases utter disregard for patient welfare, customer time.Brought in Rx for pet on a THURS; told it will be filled by 6PM the following day. I arrive at 6PM the following day; told it's unavailable till TUES (5 days on); asked if I might take the Rx elsewhere; pharmacist advised that, by law, it cannot leave their hands as it's for a controlled substance. I return TUES, and NOTHING! Now, the pharmacist releases the Rx to me. So much for law. Took to area Wegmans; filled within 15 minutes.

Quite possibly the slowest pharmacy on earth. Constantly a line for pick up and drop off. They don’t keep stock of highly needed medicines. They don’t have enough employees for amount of volume they are doing. People in line are always screaming at them asking why aren’t there more employees. I have to come here due to my stupid insurance requiring me use CVS/Caremark. Sometimes I’d rather slit my wrists then come to the CVS at Target on Reistertown Road!

Called to see if I needed a flu shot appointment. They said no. Drove there and waited in line for 20 minutes. Once at the desk they told me it would be another 30 minute wait because of the long line behind me. BEHIND ME. From now on will be getting all pharma needs from Walgreens who assist people in the order they are in line.

I have been getting prescriptions filled here for many years; before it was CVS. The staff has changed and I no longer want to go there. Not only does the staff seem inefficient, but they're not very caring either. I miss the old staff. Long sigh...
