Overall, it is a nice store. HOWEVER, they need to pay more attention, to making sure items are “fresh”. The attached photo is of potatoes, that were expired, since November 2022. Today is January 14, 2023. I removed like six or so bags and gave them to an employee. I also told the gentleman there were some left, that expired in December.

Ordered groceries for pickup. The lady who brought out the groceries was very nasty. I understand we all have bad days but l didn’t do anything to her to deserve such attitude.

I have never been to this store when it's properly staffed. Never. Maybe it's only when I go. I rarely leave negative reviews but something needs to be done. The lines are always way longer than any other store I've been to. There is no self checkout and I've been here on multiple occasions where there is only one register open. It almost makes sense driving 10 minutes out of the way to save time waiting in line. Yet I keep punishing myself. Year back it wasn't this bad. 2 lines open on Mother's Day. How dense or lacking in experience can you be to have 2 out of 10 registers open on Mother's day. The lines extended from the register to just about the back of the store. Did mother's day come as a surprise? Same time. Every year. This store is in a prime location. Shouldn't be that strapped for money that you can't hire 2 more employees. Those employees who do work here are great. Will adjust review when things are up to reasonable standards. Thanks.

Placed four orders from the deli for an event covering 100 people, at least 3 days in advance, as noted on the website. However, 30 minutes before my pick up time for the food, I received a phone call - stating that they were unable to fulfill my order and that no one was available at their store or any other store to make it. The manager did nothing to provide a solution such as other food options or a future coupon for their mishap. Only response was that their worker was sick and no one could make it. Very unprofessional. I will never order another item from this location again.

Has a wide variety of products. From vegetables to house hold to meats and a nice variety of deli products. Their bakery is great, not perfect but their store made products are really great. Sometimes I'll go there just for some breakfast treats.

Store was very clean and well laid out. Staff was friendly and ready to assist. Nice selection of products and prices. I liked the ready made hot food area with good choices. Overall very good experience and ample parking.

Open late and has all the things you might need in a groccery store. Good supply of snacks, bars, and baked goods - including brownie-cookies, variety of gatorade, and trail mix. Open late with grab and go items too, so was the perfect place for grabbing food and snacks. Parking was pretty easy and it was not crowded when grabbing stuff.

This is a newer Safeway & has wide aisles & stocked shelves with most varieties of items I usually need. It’s easy to get in to park from Belair Rd & easy to leave again from either the light at Belair Rd entrance or by leaving from the back way out to Chapel Rd & another traffic light at Belair Rd.I like the “buy one - get one” sales at Safeway. However, lately it seems even if I buy a few items & most if them are sale items - I always spend around $100. 🤷‍♀️ That’s a bit more than I’d like to take out of my budget for groceries weekly - but if I have to have what is on my list which is part of my usual weekly diet - then I’m shopping where those supplies are. So Safeway seems to be the place.

The store is clean and workers are generally friendly. I was a little disappointed on this particular trip because I went for some bakery items and they were unavailable and also the cut flower selection was not great. (My sister and I have gone out of our way to come to this store on occasion because they normally have a fantastic cut flower selection and the flowers last a long time). Prices here are generally good and they usually have a fairly decent selection. I will continue to ship this location and do recommend it.

Always clean and well organized. Friendly, helpful staff. They are doing better with not blocking isles with standing displays. Deli often closed but prepackaged deli meats and cheeses now available. Great sale prices.

Safeway does not even deserve one star. My mom was mistreated by cashier Nancy. Upon checking out, Mom couldn't remember her phone number in order to get the sale price, which I registered for her. Nancy said she couldn't believe that my mom doesn't know her phone number ? FYI my mom has Parkinson's Disease and sometimes it affects her memory. Honestly, I should not have to say this but maybe Nancy should think twice before she berates the handicapped! I called twice and reported and no return calls! Shame on Safeway!

A few times, I've had cashiers that weren't the friendliest, BUT.. they have a few cashiers that ARE super friendly and kind and they make up for the others. Customer service really can make the biggest difference. Even if the store had nothing I needed or a terrible selection, I still leave happy when I'm treated well.

Clean but the seafood doesn't steam seafood they microwave it. I am glad they were honest and I didn't bring him microwaved lobster tails. The seafood associate seemed to believe that most of the food was already cooked that was I'm the case but and needed to be reheated. I don't think that's the case for the lobster raw shrimp etc. Do not reheat and do not expect steamed food

Our cashier ‘Malania’ (I think that’s her name), was the sweetest lady during check out. Smiled and spoke to my child and put a smile on her face. Also, Crystal, at the Starbucks is the coolest. Kind people work at this location.

Employees are great. Prices are moderately high but I suggest using the Safeway app and clip the deals for stuff you buy. You will save a ton of money. I average about 25 in extra savings for every 100 I spend.

The managers are rude. As a black chef I often shop at this location and picking up items for my business. I was stopped by a manager(black female) asking me did I need help. I informed her that I did not, being as tho I was leaving the store. She accused me of stealing. I had a receipt but this lady was so rude and nasty. Why would I choose to steel taking with a business owner #BLM. I will be filling a formal complaint. I have never been so disrespect like this in a store on my life. I will be sharing this with all of my social media platforms.

I hadn't been to Safeway in years. I loved that it was nice and clean well organized. There was someone waiting in the aisle to assist you. In fact there were sales associates all around engaged in conversation with the customers. I found it very refreshing. When my friend needed assistance she was not just point it in the direction the person escorted her to the aisle where she could find the product. That is a detail that is lost in these pop up grocery stores these days.

The manager Bryanna (not sure that's how you spell her name) is very rude. She keeps making up her own rules for coupons. First she says follow the limits, then she says even if you follow the limits it can't be the same manufacturer and now she says doesn't matter if you follow the limits she is not overriding. Sometimes they hire people but don't educate them on their own system. If i have 5 different items and use 5 coupons for each item it will call cause chances are they will total over $8. Anyways i talked to her calmly and she took offence and said she told me the same thing before but she literally change the rule everytime and got upset and walked away. Funny how they allow people to steal everynight without putting security to protect those young cashiers but give normal paying customers a hard time.

Safeway is always good for me because they have good openings hour most of the time. You can go shopping before midnight and even after they close you still have time because nobody will rush you to shop and leave. A great selection of foods and goods that fit many people preferences. Especially for me who have a strict diet and used many strict diets like keto, vegan, and other diets before and they same to have a selection of foods for all those diets and more. The non-food products they I didn’t experiment with but when I walk by it looks stocked up with many options. All around Safeway is a has many selection for different kinds of people, easy to shop, and convenient for its wide opening hours.

I love how nice, knowledgeable and friendly the employees are. The butcher literally explained to me how to prepare and cook a rib roast for thanksgiving. Trust me, I needed the help. Nothing but great things to say about this Safeway.*Update* The pharmacy isn't the best anymore. The longtime pharmacists are all gone.

This was the first time in this location. We stopped in for some vegetables for a dinner at my cousin's house. They did have a sale on the frozen veggies, but I wasn't expecting them to be nearly sold out. My god-daughter wanted spinach, and we barley could find any. Found only one box of the steam spinach and then purchased 2 bags of the vegetable blend for the adults.Check out was kind of crazy. There was only 1 cashier for check-out, and the other option was self check-out, which was also a wait.
