We have been bringing our 3 dachshunds in for over a year now just for nail trims. Each of the three women working there are the absolute BEST. They know how to handle dogs, big and small, and they are always so accommodating. We are so lucky to have found It’s a Pet Thing and these three ladies. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Brittany is amazing!!! Our boys have been groomed by her since they were puppies. She goes above and beyond during each appointment. We have always felt comfortable leaving our babies with her, I can't imagine going to anyone else....ever

This place is fantastic and my Yorkie Cola loves it here. I have moved to a different part of town but will still travel here because they give such great customer service and the place is clean considering they deal with numerous of dogs daily. Best groomers ever!!!!!

Astrid did wonders with our big 80lb puppy! He came home looking incredible and, the best part, not stressed at all. Just had a blast getting an incredible hair cut! Highly recommend!

Percy has never looked better He got a tiny Christmas tie today!!! Super cute! Amber has been the only groomer for our ten yr old Maltichon. I appreciate how patient she is with him...and it is obvious he is happy under her care because he is always super calm when I pick him up. Highly recommend. THANK YOU, Amber & It’s A Pet Thing!

We have been taking our dog, Abby, to Astrid for many years. Last August (2018) we moved ack to PA. Since we are under two hours away, we have continued to drive down to Pasadena to have Astrid groom Abby. Abby is comfortable there, they are very kind to her, and she always looks great. The groomer did a great job on my Airedale Terrier! I had a very difficult time finding someone who could handstrip my dog after my previous groomer passed away so several months passed without my dog being groomed. Needless to say, I was worried that my dog would be a serious challenge! However, the groomer did an excellent job. I will definitely be returning!

I should never have brought my dog here in the first place because of my first bad experience with them weeks back. I walked in a few weeks back and was very rudely greeted by a woman who basically laughed at me for asking if they had availability at all today. "Ha On a Saturday? No". I was already completely turned off by this but was in a bind recently and emailed the contact online to ask for the next available apptmt for my golden retriever and she said they had an opening at 1pm the next day. I asked "what is the cost?" and she said "$80" She did not ask me what service or anything of that nature so I just said "great, lets book it" The next day my husband brought the dog in at 1pm and the person at the desk asked what service my dog was getting. He didn't know and called me and when I spoke to her, she was very short and seemed annoyed that i didnt know what service he was getting. I literally read her the email from less than 24 hours prior where all I was told was it would be "$80" and instead of saying "oh okay sorry about that! we will get him all taken care of!" She talked about how goldens need something different or whatnot but it doesn't matter because BOTH of my only experiences with this place has been bizarre and rude all at the same time. Learn some customer service skills and be thankful for the potential business. Huge waste of money here because I wish I spent twice as much somewhere classier.

We really like taking our dogs here. They always look great. Any minor "tweaking" we ask for is done without a problem. We really like the owner/operator type service over what we used to get at the big chains.
