The bakery I came in on Thursday to order the cake I told them I just wanted the trim nothing else. Not that it’s that big of a deal but we all don’t like icing and the huge glob of icing made flowers is too much number one and I just don’t like the way it looks. They also asked me if I wanted them and I said no I probably wouldn’t be as upset if they didn’t ask then I would have thought I should have been more specific. Know they asked and they still put them on. The day isn’t ruined but the cake is not what I wanted.

Proximity to my house is a key factor on why I shop here, it seems more expensive than other local spots. The rewards program is on the comical side, for example: you would have to spend $900.00 dollars to redeem this month's top tier product, a $14.00 cheesecake. That being said, I'll continue shopping here because everything else about it is pretty positive.

Great local store I can walk to from my house. I wish they didn't get rid of the smaller hand baskets though. They have been gone for at least a month or so.

I'm so frustrated with what happened to me today! I got 6 things, and in the receipt, it says "total number of items sold=8." ..I only got 6 items, NOT 8. Also, my cashier was Matthew, and he thought that he ran things smoothly.. Ha wrong it's too much I did the math, and I was supposed to pay 33.54, but you want to know how much I have to pay 55.22. I'm never coming back again.

Bakery has a good selection. Product selection is decent, big box stores may have more of a selection. Prices of items are on par with pretty much everywhere else.

Where do I begin, oohhh I kno the Rat!! problem!!!! that started after Lauer’s got sold, and everything got weak and commercialized. They replaced all the real managers with yes men that are slaves to the system …. Hope I don’t make a part 2 …..

Good groceries and most fresh food. The prices are high, compared to Walmart and local stores. The seafood is well priced, but seems to be hit or miss on taste. I have had good shrimp, but the crabcakes are the worst I have ever tried anywhere.

This place is amazing. Tons of options- including local. Their prepared food selection is delicious and well priced. Lauers bakery is the icing on the cake- pun intended. If you can get out of there without gaining 10 lbs, congrats. Just look at these cupcakes for $2!

Green Valley bakery. What can I really say? This is the second time they have gotten my cake order incorrect. Every year they use the same picture from 3 years ago. Then when you tell them about it, they don’t apologize. It’s Like it’s nothing. So now I have a 13-year-old boy who has a cake decoration from like three years ago. Green Valley bakery. You need to triple check your orders

Their deli and bakery are top of the line. All of their prepared foods are top notch and delicious. Their weekly specials go above and beyond. I highly recommend!

Locally owned, internationally priced!! Just got chance to try this new store. As regular lauers shopper i can say they have overpriced every items. I hope they will check prices tag on neighborhood store safeway before tag prices. For now safeway or giant food is better than this one for price. I will check later if they made any changes.

My oldest Daughter lives very, very close to this store. I was on the hunt for something to eat, while on my way to her house. The food was extremely fresh and tasted great! They have everything there. I really like this store!

I am a regular customer at this establishment, and let me tell ya, it’s very convenient, especially if you’re a few minute walk from there.They always have what me and my family need, and above all, the employees there are phenomenal people (I know some of them as classmates).I highly suggest this store, and is very worthy of the five-star review.

I just moved here in January and have tried so many different grocery stores! I have found my store! This place is the cleanest store in Pasadena! It has the best prices, they're store made meals are amazing. In their bakery don't even get me started! I can't even say enough!

So extremely frustrated with this situation I was left with! Called early this morning and ordered a half bushel of steamed crabs! Went to pick them up and got handed 6! 6 crabs! What a joke this is! The crabs were supposed to be a mother's day gift! I don't know who you have running your seafood department but I'll be sure to get in contact with the corporate office!

Some inside scoop for everyone. I like the store itself for the products they carry, but, getting to see it for a brief period of time as an employee I will not shop there. A lot of the people that work there are great, but I hate to say cleanliness is the last thing on their mind. There are mice throughout the store, mainly in the production areas (deli and bakery) that even employees told me are getting out of hand. Also, a lot of that homemade or made in store product is coming in mass produced by a different company since they bought out Lauers, (makes it cheaper). As much as I like some of the product, knowing there a mouse problem that isn't being addressed properly (even the exterminator said that to me) I cannot shop there, selling the food that wasn't visibly touched by them but their nest was in the same box, also just beyond messed up.

I went to Lauers bakery two weeks before my wedding because my baker had cancelled two days prior. Stephanie grabbed her pad and said yes we can do it! I emailed her a picture of what we were hoping for and she said no problem! They even delivered the cake on a Sunday for a 6pm event even though they usually don't deliver on Sunday's after early afternoon. The cake was exactly how we imagined. We went with the basic pound cake and buttercream icing. It was amazing! Cake was moist and icing was delish! If you need a cake for an event , go to Lauers the staff is incredible and the cake and their decorations skills are top notch. We will definitely be back! Thanks Stephanie

My favorite part of this store are the ready made foods near the deli section! Always delicious. Just heat and serve. Especially the chicken pot pie and the shepherd’s pie!

Green Valley has the best selection of made in Maryland products of any grocery store. This is my go-to for Zeke's Coffee beans, and when I am hankering for some Fischer's popcorn or Berger cookies. They have some nice store-prepared foods as well, better than what you'll find at Giant or Safeway. The general grocery selection is good and they're typically well-stocked. Overall a good place to shop!

Pretty standard grocery store. Used to be called a Lauer’s and they still use a lot of the same recipes and such as the old store did and it’s fantastic. Great bakery and deli. Always come here when we are visiting the in laws for the holidays and it’s always a good experience.

The locally owned and operated grocery store chain has made a lot of improvements and has quickly risen to the top of our list. Shoppers love their ready-made foods, including steamed crabs, as well as the award winning Lauer's bakery which they retained.

The Green Valley store is a really nice supermarket it's new to me. Every time I ever needed something they've always had it, when I thought that they wouldn't have it... it was very plentiful! The staff is always helpful and that's why I'll give them the 5th *star.

2 strictly for curbside/store pick up only. I really like Green Valley, but this store pick up order was terrible. The girl who helped me was really nice and got most of my issues resolved. So that was great.However, I don’t know what happened with my order but I found out items were missing (which I didn’t find out until today when I went to cook dinner), items were completely different then what was asked for or even less of what asked for and I was charged for it, and items that were listed as n/a (meaning they couldn’t find) were in the store (I know this because I went in same day and picked them up).Simply put, if you don’t feel like shopping an order, please let someone else do it. I now know that I need to go in and grab myself, which I typically do, but at times when life is busy, it was definitely convenient.Again love Green Valley and the girl who helped me was awesome, but my order being that messed up was not acceptable.
