i used to shop here all the time until my dad wanted to get a frozen cheese cake, while he was looking for the expiration date he couldn’t find it so he gave it to my mom & shortly after my mom found it & it was covered with tape & when she removed the tape it was expired for over a YEAR!!! absolutely disgusting & harmful to OUR community. do better !!!

This store is great. It’s clean, priced fairly, and the staff seem like happy, friendly people. Online ordering and curbside pickup is a nice service and well done.

Always clean and well stocked. Staff is courteous. Much preferred over the Safeway next door. Also, having "points" applied to fuel at Shell is a plus. Not having to load coupons to your loyalty account is a plus. Yes, another jab at Safeway. Now just add diesel at the fuel pumps...

So, I go to this location at random of the day. As a single parent every time I go, Janet in the deli department has been wonderful and super helpful. Even today, I was just looking and she called me over and even though the premade sandwiches wasn’t there. She helped me get all my items and made sure I got the freshest product. She truly is a gem and is more than exceptional at her work and as a person.Thank you very much!

This store is solid. We've been happily shopping here for years. They're not going to have all the special produce/etc options like other stores but for basic staples it's fine

This location has gone down hill in recent years. They treat you like a thief. Only one entrance and one exit. Automatic doors are falling off the hinges and hardly even open. Just waiting until they start checking pockets to see if people are shoplifting. Go to the Safeway in the same shopping center or one of the much, much better local grocery stores in the area.

I've noted before how clean and well lit this location is. And there is an amazing selection of just about anything you can imagine. Today, I was looking specifically for ready-to-serve gluten free gravy for Thanksgiving leftovers. They not only had turkey gravy, but beef and chicken as well!Update 7/6/2023. For some reason, entry and exit are allowed only from the right side. Of course, on an incredibly hot day, I had parked on the left side. I don't know what prompted the change.

I hate being anything like a Karen but a couple months ago they changed the main self checkout line (which consists of 6-7 registers) to 20 items or less. But kept only 2 registers open for people who have more than 20 items. It resulted tonight in a line where people were standing in for 30 minutes just waiting to check out. I ended up saying screw this and went through the self checkout line anyways because I need to get home before 10pm tonight. I was done and out the door before someone who was 4 people ahead of me in line had just gotten to starting to check out. It’s ridiculous. If you’re going to limit the majority of checkouts to 20 items or less, you need to have more than 2 lanes for those of us who have full carts. We shouldn’t have to stand in line for 30 minutes just to check out. There has to be some balance to this.

I don't go to Giant that often. I'll go maybe one or twice every 3 months. This past time on 3/1/23 a gentleman, named John in the seafood department, was so amazing to my kids. They were enjoying watching the lobsters and he interacted with them. They were beyond joyed what he did for my kids. I cannot thank him enough want to make sure he knows how much my kids loved what he did. Just for this reason I may stop in more. Please let him know that I appreciate everything. They haven't stopped talking about the lobsters.

My first visit to this location and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were all very friendly. Scott, the seafood manager was especially helpful and I'll definitely be making shopping trips there in the future .

* I have love the location, I've been a loyal customer since day 1. Shop 5 times per week...* Many workers know me and stop to chat with me even management ...* Here's my issues.80% of the time I shop between 630 to 8 am. When checking out I get upset with Lady that's not friendly and has a mind set of I'm doing you a favor by waiting on you. She doesn't make you feel important, without a customer there's no paycheck.... It's a simple process, take care of those who take care of you... She makes slurs, nasty looks and if I need to Cashback that's a sin, she gets upset and says I don't have the money, I do get my money but how she makes you feel. My family members say's the same thing...***If the self checkout was open I would use... I surely hate to go to the competition.

Many aisles were being restocked when I arrived, so I had to maneuver around the store associates. Other than that, the experience was fine. Very clean and well-organized. Associate in the produce area was very helpful.

The store is always clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating for the most part. My only complaint is the deli. There will be 6 people behind the counter and you’ll still have to stand there for at least 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledges you (with or without a number). Also, they rarely listen to the amount of meat you ask for and just seem to give you however much they feel like giving you at the moment. Unfortunately this is what I encounter every time I come here so I can’t sum it up to an off day. Otherwise, I love shopping here.

I want to publicly acknowledge two employees at the Pasadena store. Paul and Jane went above and beyond. My husband was injured (no one's fault, totally an accident) at the store and these two employees were amazingly helpful and attentive. They jumped right in with the first aid and stayed with him until he was stable. They are truly excellent employees,

Just recently returned to in store shopping, I was using Giant Delivers but they are making changes so ,I have started going back to the store, the staff is still very friendly, the store prices are lower than the delivery prices and it's very easy getting around the store

This Giant had been around for about 20 years or so. It's clean and the staff are friendly. Fruit and Veggies are good not great. Floral Dept is small but great. Organic and natural products are in a separate section and all around the store, an adequate amount. Bakery is good not great, Fish and Meat departments are good not great.I go there for small orders because it's close to my house. Points for gas are great. This store is pleasant and easy to ship at.

I love Giant! I do pretty much all my shopping here. It's convenient, very friendly staff, some that we see all the time, they even remember my kids names and their favorite items they always pick out while we are shopping. Always clean, organized. Down side I would say is something are a little pricey and for certain items I do go to other stores for but other then that Giant is our go to store! They have the delivery and pick up out front of the store for those who can't or aren't comfortable with being out in public places at the moment.

I don’t shop here for food, but I always get my flowers here when I go and visit my grams grave. They always have such a beautiful selection. And fresh, too. The flowers are never wilted. And they aren’t overpriced, either. I got a bouquet with three roses, lilies, carnations, and these adorable little star shaped filler flowers for only $10, and it was the perfect size for one of the cemetery vases. Next time you need flowers, start here.

The flower shop is unbelievable, Giant has the absolute best flowers. The staff is incredibly accommodating, especially Nicole in particular, really goes the extra mile for the customer. I strongly recommend buying your flowers from giant in lake shore.

Fresher but costly. I have been to several Giant locations, some are better than others. I really like their spring water.
