We stumbled upon this family-friendly farm today and our kids loved it. The staff is super friendly. A birthday party was there and had a hayride. The gentleman running the hayride promised those of us who weren’t there for the party a ride afterwards. He kept his promise and even stopped along the way to teach us things about crops and farm life. Such a cool experience. I would like to come back when their snowball stand is open.

An absolute joy to visit The Farmyard! We were heading home from a trip to Baltimore when we accidentally came across this place, and I gotta tell you the kids enjoyed it here more than the Aquarium or the Zoo! They just moved to this location, so there's a lot to be done, but take the time to come visit this place!

My daughter and I stopped by for the Christmas Pop-up Shop. We got some baked goods, Christmas greens arrangements, and lunch from the food truck. Vendors were friendly. Had a nice afternoon!

Went for grandson's birthday party! Lots of fun. Farm tour hay ride and playground for kids! People there are super nice too! Plants for sale, some produce, handmade soaps and candles!

Lovely place. We loved it! Their snow cones are amazing (try the Shark Attack flavor), the animals are sweet, and there’s a bunch of different things to do there. They sell plants, pit bbq, and snow cones, plus they have a bunch of different farm animals that are lovely. There is a bunch of stuff for kids to play with too.

We had our son’s birthday party here today and I cannot imagine a better experience!! Both Carlys were SO attentive and eager to help us set up. The kids loved painting pumpkins, seeing the animals, and going on the hayride! They facilitated our piñata for us too. The staff were extremely responsive to questions before the party, and everything was perfect. We can’t be happier! This was by far our easiest birthday party yet — thank you!!!

Very family friendly, hands-on agricultural experience that is both educational and fun! All the volunteers and the owner are so polite and helpful. A favorite place for our friends with children who have special needs as they explore the farm and experience what life on a farm is like. Whistle, Dolly, Peanut, and all the goats are our favorite Farmyard critters to visit. Bonus that it’s FREE to visit every day, all day - unless it’s one of the special events they host. Even then, the cost is very reasonable! Can’t wait until they open this spring. We visit several times a week!

The Farmyard was such a fun place to take my grandson. He’s almost two and loved seeing all the animals and loved to run around there and explore. Everyone we met was so extremely happy and made for a fun time. Highly recommend!

We love the Farmyard! I highly recommend attending their events. They have chickens, pigs, and pony’s that the kids can pet/ride. They always have local vendors selling local honey, locally raised meat, and hand made crafts.

I can’t say enough about the good people at The Farmyard. Renee & her family bring authentic farm education to kids in a hands-on way. We love the farm & look forward to our weekly trip. There are tons of activities, special events & products to purchase! Their animals are happy, healthy & loved, and as friendly as can be.

I’m hesitant to write a review because I selfishly want to keep this amazing place a secret. It feels like we found a rare gem! I set up a private tour aka “field trip” with Renee (who responded to my request in less than a day). We had three (not-so-well-behaved) 2.5 year-olds, and they had a blast! The property isn’t large, but they have every animal a large farm would have: horses, goats, chickens, a turkey, pigs, and even rabbits! Renee brought out a pale of various food and let the children feed the animals. The kids then got to run into a field and pick out a pumpkin to paint. And the field trip ended with some playground fun (every toddlers dream). My only regret is not finding this place sooner- because I would have come every week. And this is the last week before their winter break.

Have been to two paint nights at The Farmyard and have a wonderful time both times. Renee' is so nice and very helpful. They are trying very hard to advance their business. If there were an indoor restroom, I would give it 5 stars
