I always rate a supermarket by its produce area, and Weis Markets do not disappoint! Not only are the products fresh, but are well displayed and reasonably priced. Saw many examples of unique produce, and observed the floors and displays to be extremely clean, which impressed me quiet well. The rest of the store is well laid out and it was easy to find what I needed. All in all I got to say Weis Market has got it going !

Whoever is doing the hiring for this store needs to be fired. The employees are a reflection of who ever the manager is who mostly is lazy and has an attitude like the employees. The staff are all young and have no customer service experience and clearly and the store does not train people to have any. They literally have the attitude that the store can run itself and if a customer needs assistance or has an issue they literally will stand around and ignore you. Always employees on their phones (even when customers are present; unprofessional) or standing around talking never really see anyone working.

Wow! A few weeks ago customers had to pay .25 cents for the use of a shopping cart! Didn’t last long, I haven’t noticed that feature lately. But with the new law they are now charging for grocery bags in the store. Bring your own bags! Otherwise , the service and choice of foods are great! Clean and organized!

Absolutely displease with the customer service with the two young ladies at the registers this evening. There was no greeting, one was on her phone; therefore I thought she wasn’t open, and she didn’t ask if I needed help bagging my food until nearly done. If I decide to come into this store again I will rather do self checkout.

The parking lot is better than giant but the selection isn't. The store is usually under-staffed and the self scanners are the devil here. Lunch meat grab and go is rarely stocked and I never see anyone at counters. It's probably 1 person running around like a headless chicken but they need more people working. The carts are usually put away nicely.

Best super market in Owings Miils MD. Lots cheaper than Giant. The staff are friendly. Great customer service. I don't understand why folks go to Giant when Weis Market is around the corner!

Have been shopping this location since long into its Food Lion days. This Weis location is hit or miss depending on the week. Has a fairly constant employee turnover. Sometimes, the quality and quantity of produce, deli items, meat, etc. is great; at others, awful.

Went to pick up money orders here, because the machine at Giant was down. The 2 ladies working at customer service were wonderful. Complete opposite of the rude service I received at Giant. Having to choose in the future, I would come here just for the difference in the attitudes of the employees. Thank you ladies for putting a smile on my face, and turning my day around!

I wish I would have got the cashier's name but she was so nice attentive to my grandson and complimented is haircut. Even the customers we all interact it in a conversation about the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I had no idea that a wise was even there I've never been to that market but they will definitely get my business again

Not having a seafood department was a little disappointing but the employees made up for it with their friendly attitude and caring ways everyone I spoke with was more friendly and helpful then the next since my accident, this is the first time I've been in a grocery store in 4 years. I was able to ride my power chair from my apartment to the Weis on Lakeside Boulevard, with the help of my most caring caregiver. Concerned that this store's latest changes reflect a downgrade in the food retail customer experience in this part of Owings Mills, compared to when it was a Food Lion, other neighboring Weis locations and their newer competitors.

The weis company does not offer any type of exchange or refund, unless there is a quality issue. Will tell you there is a federal and state regulation in play, but can not tell you what it says. My husband bought the wrong formula, and I couldn't exchange it for the correct brand.

Our neighborhood grocery store. We love shopping at this Wei’s location. The cashier are usually friendly and the store stays fully stock. The employees will assist with all my questions. Glad that they are able to stay open and striving during these economic times.

I go to this market when I don't feel like driving to the other markets in the area, and I'm just getting one or a few items. But this market is high as hell. I am surprised at the number of people who shop here...probably the types that just throw stuff in the basket and don't care about prices. For example, the other day I went in there, the price for a frozen pie was $8.55!! I've been buying frozen pie for years, and I've never seen it cost that much. Toilet paper is higher here than any where else, and just about everything else in this store. I think the only place where they run neck and neck with high prices is Safeway. The sales here aren't always the best. You have to buy 2 or 3 of a product to get a sale price, whereas with other stores, if you just want one, you still can get it at the sale price. The store is clean and most of the times, the people that work there are nice and helpful. Except the one time, a guy at the customer service desk was off and he just walked off and left me standing there. Didn't say, I'll get someone to help you, I'm off...nothing.

Fresh food and fantastic employees! I need help just about every time I am there and everyone is so polite. Special shout out to Charles, Hal, a manger whose name began with a D (I am sorry I didn't write it down, he was worth it and made my day). I actually looking forward to grocery shopping at this location, and who looks forward to 'chores', but they make it easy.

The Weis in Owings Mills is 40 seconds away from my house, yes I have timed it before for fun 🤓. I appreciate the vegan options. I noticed a bunch of meat substitutes the last time I was at Weis. They also had a variety of dairy free cheese available as well. Keep in mind, these products are in the vegetable section of the store, not the dairy/milk section. I used to look in the dairy/milk section before for the dairy free cheese but I noticed it was by the tofu in the vegetable section the other day. I appreciate not having to drive to a grocery store across town to stock my kitchen. Thanks!

I've been living in the area over 15 yrs so this is where I go do my shopping... I've never had a bad experience... Customer service has ALWAYS been so helpful no matter who's behind the counter.... Thank you management for the Great work you're doing....Sir/Mam!!

Darnell is such a great and nice store Manager. He was able to help me during the height of the pandemic with an issue I was having with a return.There’s another guy in the seafood department who is always willing, and helping me to find frozen seafood items and he’s always encouraging me to try new seafood items, I believe he is a grocery/frozen food dept. employee. Also, Tristan is such a nice young man, who works in the front of the store, was so polite and helped me to my car with my bags. And another young lady helped me with my self check-out items because I couldn’t lift the heavy items to scan them-I forgot her name, but she did tell me she was a newer employee!!All the staff at Weiss whom I’ve had interaction with are so nice! Keep up the great work and great customer service.

My limited experience with Weis Market has been at the Owings Mills store on Lakeside Blvd. Parking is plentiful and the store is consistently clean. Shelves are well stocked and produce is fresh. The staff have all been pleasant and courteous, offering assistance when needed. Many of the products are well priced. Overall my experiences have been very satisfactory.

I love this store!!! I'm in there at least 3-4 times a week. Been going to this store for 4 years. It was Food Lion when I started my shopping. Certain cashier I know well and they are very friendly and care about there customer's. The asst. mangers that I know are very awesome and have helped me out when ever needed help, I want to say THANK-YOU to Jonathan, Eddie, Alphonso, Sade. These are the ones I know and Everytime I walk in the store and they see me they stop and say "HI".

I went to the Weis in Sykesville, and I wasn't greeted, offered help when asked, or treated nicely. I was in line and the cashier closed their station without warning, though I was standing there for a while. Went to this Weis and haven't gone anywhere since. They are all super friendly here. Easy location to access, great selection, and I have yet to encounter a worker there who hasn't atleast greeted me. Highly recommended!!

I hate this store. The staff will make you lose your Jesus. People work too hard to be treated like they are a bother to the organization in which they are supporting. It's a few good employees there but I promise they hire by word of mouth. It's so unfortunate because Owings Mills otherwise has pretty decent businesses...

I like the Weis as a shopping experience here in Owings Mills. Management and staff are pleasant. The store is clean and the aisles are wide and kept clear. However, the online grocery ordering app is non-functional. IT staff deny a problem. This is such a sad missed opportunity for the business, especially as shopping has morphed during COVID. I hope someone in upper management reads my review.
