The pharmacist guy that works at night he’s the best I don’t care where I live I will always travel to this location. He always educated me on cautions when taking medicine especially if I’m already taking something else. He doesn’t have to but he does he always look in my file and ask what am I taking what am I not taking and he tells me everything I need to know. This guy saved my life tonight. I am so thankful I was prescribed a medication that could have been deadly to me if mixed with a current medication I was on. Not even my own doctor paid attention. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. He’s very educated. I can’t thank him enough.

The awesome Pharmacy cashier that's such a joy to see when I come up to pick up my Rx's each and every month. That employee is the super star Ibrahim and that's why I bring all my items up to the pharmacy because his customer service is out of this world. So far satisfied with the pharmacy. Haven't done much shopping in the store, so won't know about the store experience. But the pharmacy staff is polite and helpful. If we call, the phone is picked up every time and proper information is conveyed. Have been going here for 2 years for prescription and all vaccinations and so far our experience is good. The only minor issue is sometimes the common prescriptions are out of stock and takes 2-3 days to arrive.

My husband and I were here from out of state and I’m very sorry we decided to fill a prescription of his here. It took several phone calls attempts for me to even initially get past the hold music to check on the status of the prescription. Once I finally did reach someone, I was told that “they hadn’t checked their voicemail for any new prescriptions yet and couldn’t give me an estimate of when it might be ready”. Several hours later in the day, I drove to the pharmacy and asked at the window. Here, I was told it would be “another hour before it was ready”, so I came back 2 hours later thinking it would surely be ready by then. Upon my repeat arrival, it STILL was not ready. I told the pharmacy tech that I was really in need of the medication for my husband, and pleaded for them to fill it. They finally got it ready and I didn’t leave the counter until I had it. Stressful experience while traveling with a sick husband and 3 little kids.

I would avoid going here for prescriptions.The customer service from both onsite and on the phone are subpar.The communication from the dropoff employee is terrible, I had to go multiple times to retrieve a prenatal vitamin.Only to find out multiple times that it has not arrived.Moving forward, I felt like I risked my child's health with this place.Edit:I added a star so I could write a review.Edit2:Dear owner, sadly your reply won't solve anything even if you yourself received the same treatment from the staff of this branch.You won't fix it, and your reply is only politics.

It used to be easy to get ahold of the pharmacy dept and ask a question. Now it's impossible; you're on hold forever. I don't need Rite Aid for laundry detergent.

Calling x times over a week for my rx no one answered for both myself or my doctors office there’s always at least 20 min drive thru to pick up. I’m concerned for other patients having serious medical issues needing prompt refills

I really enjoy shopping at this Rite-Aid location. The staff is very friendly, and not only do they greet you, but they always ask if you need help finding merchandise. Also, the store is always neat and clean. I will continue to shop at this Rite-Aid.

I had previously avoided this pharmacy, however, as of 2023, it seems as though they have made some very positive adjustments. With the most notable upgrades at this particular store having occurred in their personnel, especially within the pharmacy itself. It seems as though this store’s pharmacy staff now includes two somewhat younger, highly motivated, customer focused pharmacists who both appear personable and seemingly allegiant to the general ethical standards of the Hippocratic Oath.I do however feel obligated to add that my experiences with Rite Aid as a whole have previously been mediocre at best. Moreover, as a corporation, people should know that they have certainly struggled in recent years, primarily as a result of negative store experiences, store closures and legal issues. Subsequently, it looks as though they are in the process of some sort of major rebranding effort and in so doing, working to enrich the in store experience for their customers. With that said, it will probably take a little more time for them to earn any genuine loyalty and / or regular, repeat business from me, as I’d be hesitant to commit to any final conclusions just yet. Albeit, I do hope that this new regime, with the pharmacists I mentioned previously at the helm, is a sign of things to come.Companies who are willing to demonstrate a commitment to consistently employing quality people for reasonable lengths of time should begin to acknowledge that it benefits them in many ways, including being one of the most likely elements to generate customer loyalty.

Been my go to for years! Never a problem for me. I call my Rx in over the phone, I even get text messages when I have a fill that is available to be filled. The staff in the Pharmacy are quick and efficient. I’m in and out!

I left a pharmacy because of their customer service. Choosing LakeSide was an awesome choice. Customer Service, timely priscriptions, connection with patients are outstanding. Very seldom there is a long wait to pick up or place your order for meds. Love this pharmacy.

Always an extremely long hold time when calling in prescriptions or going to the drive thru..Never process drive thru requests in correct order. Always abrupt except for one older lady. Currently on hold now because the wrong prescription was delivered. I’ve been hung up on twice, transferred to the front and was placed back on hold. Always the same excuse short staffed. Rite aid has been short staffed for the last year.. A lot of people need jobs start hiring so you’re not so short staffed.

I visited this Rite Aid for my flu shot and had a bad experience. The pharmacist was very rude and unwelcoming. When she administered my flu shot, she did not demonstrate any kind of care and was quite forceful. When she turned away my acquaintance for not excepting his insurance, she did not even disclose to us that we could just pay for the flu shot. Instead, she just said no and was very unwilling to help. She clearly did not want to do her job, therefore, I will not be visiting here again.

No stars should be received. This is utterly ridiculous! My Dr sends my medications EVERY MONTH, same time.This pharmacy is always 2-3 sometimes 5 days later filling my prescriptions! I'm no longer going to be dealing with this. I've used this pharmacy for years and this continues to happen.They continuously show that they have care or concern for their customers or their mental health. Why not just shut down this place! you call, they hang up,very rude, and I've also heard them providing others information and DOB AS WELL AS MEDications right over the speaker which is a hipaa vilation. I will be reporting this.They have different employees every month. If you want your items in a timely fashion, DONT HAVE THEM SENT HERE !

I am not one to normally complain on social media but today I had an appalling experience with this store’s pharmacist. Today, I called this pharmacy concerning a prescription that I needed filled. For over three hours I called, and each call ended abruptly with the call being immediately picked up… and hung up upon. So, I did what anyone else would do, I drove down and walked in to ask the whereabouts of my prescription. I was met by the pharmacist, who informed me that I needed to contact other Rite Aids to secure my prescription because this particular pharmacy was out of it. So I tried.. and I tried… and I tried… to no success. After calling multiple Rite Aids (13 to be exact), I returned to the Owings Mills pharmacy to ask in desperation for the pharmacist’s assistance. The pharmacist, rudely met with me and treated me as a child, informing me that the fault was my own and that I should have used a different approach when conversing with other pharmacies. In an act of desperation, I looked him in the eyes and asked for his genuine help, in response I got this answer from pharmacist, “I have not answered the phone in 4 hours and you think I have the time to help you with your prescription.” In the blame, the pharmacist stated that it was my fault I could not get the prescription filled, and that if I only followed his direct orders I could have gotten it filled already. So, in a world of healthcare confusion it was I who was the player at fault and not him. But is that true? I personally think the pharmacist that blames patients, hangs up on calls, and ignores pleas for help should be the one who should be to blame. He should be ashamed of himself and Rite Aid should be ashamed for employing him.

The pharmacy in this place is horrible. Every time I visit this location I instantly get irritated. They are always getting smart and the lies. I was in there today and was told I had to wait hours before I can pick up my Rx. Then I told them that my Rx was sent over by the Dr. Office and the 1st person I talked to said it would be a few minutes. Ash going say he didn’t know that it was sent over by the Dr. and it will be filled right away. I explained that it should not matter how you received the Rx. This is just crazy how is that fair?

Edit: from 1 to 4 stars: apparently the phone system was jacked up. Corporate called and straightened it all out.Ok, so when I go in the rite aid, I'm treated very well. I love all the people in there. The only problem I have is that I can't ever call them effectively. I have to keep pressing 3 a million times because I keep getting passed back to the switch board. Also, the main menu says this is the liberty road branch erroneously. I probably wouldn't mind as much if it was just a hold function or something but I can't do anything having to press 3 every 30 seconds for 30 minutes. I don't get it.It would be 4 stars if the phone issue was just fixed.

Writing this while I have been asked to wait for Unspecified time. Not sure who would give any star to this location,to be honest. even if you goto pickup prescription atmfter 24 hours it takes more than 30 min to get meds, and I am not counting time to stand in line!! The moment you pull your insurance or prescription card it takes additional 30-40 min to process, not sure if it is corporate strategy to make patients just pay upfront because including me I have seen people do it here to avoid long wait time. And pull up goodrx n then u probably need more time here. Definitely need more people here.Moving my prescription to others.

Avoid the pharmacy at this location at ALL COSTS!! Over the past three years, they’ve gotten so exceptionally worse at not having prescriptions filled (particularly for my sick mother) DESPITE saying over the phone such prescriptions would be filled and ready for pickup upon arrival and despite orders coming through from the respective doctors they themselves acknowledging they received. They do a rather poor job at answering the phone, let alone communicating with one another. They increasingly have gotten prescriptions incorrect or don’t have everything filled, sometimes even restocking prescriptions on the shelves and making us wait without authorization and still within a promised pickup window. Management at the pharmacy itself is rather incompetent and of no help. As far as I’m concerned, this pharmacy is of no use existing any longer and my mother has already transferred all future prescription [re]fills to Wegman’s.

Worst customer service experience. Better teach your cashier about how to treat a customer and helping customers. And why that attitude towards customers?? Nobody is asking you to pay for my stuffs. The girl cashier working this morning should be trained well. If you want to show your attitude, better go home instead of coming to work. If you are sick, better stay home. Its just ridiculous.

I sat in the drive-thru for 15 minutes. I was told to wait for a minute, but after using the call button, the associate never came back. I felt it was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I went inside and there was a long line. This is a constant problem at this location, and it makes me wonder if the demographics were different, would this be acceptable?

Never had any problems or concerns. They have knowledgeable staff who are always friendly. The wait times are not very long especially when you call in advance.My last review was 3 years ago, so here's the update...I am absolutely surprised by the terrible reviews here. I have lived in the area half of my life 20+ since moving from another state and again I have never once had any problems from this pharmacy or the store. All the associates and pharmacists have been very professional, prompt and helpful with all questions, concerns, and for any recommendations. I would recommend my neighborhood pharmacy to all!

They straight up don’t answer the phone. If I went into work and just didn’t answer the phone, I would probably be fired…so I am genuinely curious as to how they’re able to pull it off. I have called to check on the status of my prescription several different days at different times without a single answer. It’s mind blowing. Hire more people or figure it out…you deal with peoples’ well being.

This is the slowest rite aid ever. If you order online, they take 4 days to fulfill your order, if you put in a prescription, they'll hold it at the counter for an hour. When I asked the pharmacist where my order was, she litterally said "you just saw I was on the phone with my husband" Why on earth would I care about your phone call? I'm just trying to get my prescription and go. Utterly ridiculous and completely unprofessional.

The store was very clean and the associates very polite caring my experience was positive. I would come back to purchase more items anytime due to the friendly atmosphere!
