I needed my cats nails cut asap. Catonsville location allowed me to come in the same day. When i called Owings mills location, no one from grooming ever answered the phone. When someone else answered from another dept, i was told to put my name on a list and Miles would call me back. I've put my name on the list before and no one called me back. I've gone to Owings mills location several times asking about getting my cats nails cut and no one is ever available. Catonsville location was very friendly and made time to fit me in for something that would only take 5 minutes.

The cancelled my appointment the day of and said I would get a call back to reschedule and 25% off his grooming service since they had to reschedule. They never called me back it’s been over a week. I don’t trust them and frankly they don’t keep their word.

This store is horrible they have canceled my dogs groom every appointment for the last 3 months and then called me last minute to tell me it wasn't their issue they had to cancel. I spoke with Dana who made no attempt to accommodate the fact that I have been cancelled 3 times or to squeeze my pet in. Every time they reschedule they push me out for months and they tell me the day of the groom they need to cancel I would recommend going somewhere else that values your time

Super helpful staff. We have a new puppy and we know we're not training her right. I walked in here and asked them a few questions. Everyone was eager to help and gave me great suggestions. I was impressed with their puppy trainer, Asher, giving me so many tips and suggestions without me having signed up yet. We signed our puppy up for behavioral classes.

Very few salespeople on the floor to assist customers. Well stocked inventory, but there is little directory information available...you know of just have to figure out what is where in the store, but it not a difficult task to udnertake given the store is very small in comparison to other locations.

The staff is very helpful kind and polite they led me to the dog food I needed and the knowledge they have for the dog food they have very great place it's clean easy to park in and place to get to very highly recommend this store

My dogs have been groomed here a couple of times ao far and the experience has been great. I love the option to pay ahead of time so I do not have to wait in line once I have them back.

I have had issues lately with getting my chow groomed and trimmed nicely. Today Shanelle, manager, groomed him and he looked great. I just want to commend her on doing a wonderful job. We were very pleased. Hope Shanelle stays around for awhile. Employees change often so those who do a great job are gone when we return and the new person doesn't really know what's needed. Shanelle in Owings Mills store made an bad situation a great one.Thanks,

My wife and I visited to look at potential pets. The store was well-kept and clean, the staff nice and friendly and the pets varied. We had a nice time looking around, especially watching the kittens play and run around. We'll definitely be coming back in the future.

My elderly dog was denied grooming service today. According to the groomer Brittney - it was due to a new policy restricting groomers from serving elderly dogs with health conditions (my dog had all her teeth removed and her tongue hangs out) per Brittney the concern is that her tongue could get injured and she consistently deferred to it being the decision of store manager, Jay. Fair enough . However , the store manager Jay said something completely different which leads me to believe they are not honest nor skilled. Jay stated my dog was unable to stand - which was never mentioned by the groomer. The same groomer Who witnessed my dog walking and standing just fine. When I asked if something happened that caused Jay to cancel my appointment, her answer was “no” . I’m not sure why they are being dishonest and wasting patrons time. Groomer Brittney kept mentioning a new meeting and policy that manager JAY said no such meeting or policy exists. Very sad , but I am writing this to say - don’t waste your time. Find a groomer that offers consistent skilled service . I do believe the inexperience of the groomer is the main issue. Find a groomer with better customer service. Truly , if Brittney felt uncomfortable grooming my dog , she should just say that, instead of blaming the manager and inexistent policies. Manager Jay should have just said - per the discretion of the groomer - instead of being flippant and and dishonest. Not once did an employee apologize for the inconvenience. Offer suggestions, nothing . Not good people. Not good energy .

Nice large store with a large selection of products. Both the store and the animals in it seem well cared for. I took one star off because the customer service was rather slow, it was a good thing I had a lot of time to spare when I went there.

As usual store is great. The staff are pleasant and all the furbabies are amazing as well. Can't really complain. Sad when a chew bone my dog likes is out of stock but we're able to move on to other ones.

The best Petsmart I have ever been to. They are always very helpful and friendly. I think newrly every visit they greet you when you enter. They also have a very wide variety of selection for cat food. Plus its always fun to stop and see the kitties they have up for adoption!

The Guinea babies at this location are sick looking and may all be actually sick. I bought two only to return them a week later because of blood in one of their urine and unhealthy looking eyes that never got better. Looking for healthy pigs ? Go to Ellicott city Petsmart. They also only have over priced cages. No good habitats/ cages for Guinea pigs or small animals, better off ordering supplies from Amazon or elsewhere.

Not too bad for your pet needs. Location is a little tight. Parking lot is shared with other businesses so, getting in and out is busy. The store itself is an ideal size. You are sure to find what you need to get. The staff is ok. Just started using this location, so I'll have to visit more and get a feel for the employees. Prices are leveled out. Some stuff is high and some stuff is low. Best to have the pet perks rewards program for the good prices. Traffic around this location is heavy due to the gas station close by and the other stores. So pick your time wisely.

Went to adopt a new family member today. Joe took care of me with patience, kindness, and friendliness. He even assembled my pet carrier for me. In other words, he was terrific! The store is extremely well stocked, clean, and bright. Cannot recommend it more highly!

Every time I go in, the employees are very friendly and they always have what we need. They even interacted with my little man who was admiring the cats up fir adoption. The only problem I had today is even though we went went on a rainy day and they had a mat by the front door, the floor was still a bit wet beyond the mat so the floor could be a bit slippery. So if they had an extra mat by the front door on rainy days, that would be great.

I had a very unpleasant visit. Came in to buy a beta fish, bought all of the necessary accessories. I get home to set up the tank and it is missing pieces (which ofc is not the stores fault) so I drive back to hopefully get a new tank, I talked to the lady at the register who is clearly the manager. Cashier #590250. She was a older lady with grey hair. I am asking her what options I have since the specific tank I had originally got was the last one in stock. I am asking her questions about what options I have, she is being rude and not answering my questions and skipping straight to “Well what do you want to do, get a new one” as she’s glancing at the line of people behind me knowing she’s trying to move me out of line. She does not offer to help me find a new tank or even look in the back to see if they have anymore. I am never a person to complain about people who work at retail, food etc bc I work in those departments myself, but for being a manager I was very unimpressed.

An accident happened to my dog ​​in this pet, when we got home from his haircut something was bothering him on his back that he couldn't even walk well and this got worse until he lost movement in his legs, his back was broken and had to undergo a surgical procedure.

The folks that work in the aquarium area have been a great help answering questions about fish and fish tank products as we set up our aquarium. All the people I have encountered in the store have been pleasant and professional. Keep up the good work all! 😃

The waitress was nice however I didn't like how a customer is up charged to have eggs made the way they like them if it is not how the item is prepared in the description. Example shrimp and grits come over easy not everyone likes that but I was told that's the only way I can have them or pay more to have them cooked the way I want that do not make any sense and that is wrong
