I was c charged an extra $15 for using a pair of scissors. Would that not be a part of tools used in $5.99? She did not clean hear between his toes(claw), refused to clip his nails because he gets antsy & she didn’t want to be nipped. He is a 10 lb Papillion with only 1 layer of hair. It’s bad enough you charge $62 for a shampoo & trim but do the whole thing or not at all. She said he wasn’t cooperative yet same scissor cut in Florida Petco & they did a superlative job for $61 plus $5.99 charge for tools(?).Owings Mills? Not a chance would I take him back there.

the groomers did a good job except they cut my dogs nails too short and she started bleeding but i called and they treated her nail and they refunded me for the grooming services so i would say im satisfied they in how they handled the situation

I had a appointment today for my puppies first birthday. I scheduled a puppy cut/trim grooming service. I wanted to mention I normally bathe and brush my puppy at home. I figured it was his birthday so I would schedule a professional appointment. When I arrived the groomer AMBER was finishing a smaller dog and flinging him to the side. When I walked in with my Golden Doodle she never even greeted us. I advised her my puppy was here for his appointment and I had given him Pup CBD to relax him while laughing. She asked for his shot record, then proceed to say he’d be there for 2-4 hours. Without any warning or introduction she comes from behind the counter to start rubbing him for matting. She was being very aggressive while checking him. She then indicated he had sone matting on his chin, I advised her he’s brushed daily! She then grabs a comb to demonstrate with force on his dry hair he was matted, while grabbing his mouth aggressively! I then asked her can she at least bathe him and she refused that service as well. I have been coming to Petco for over 10 years with previous dogs in the poodle family and never experienced this type of treatment. So I’m fully aware of matting and if this was the case there would be additional fees. AMBER was just not interested in servicing my puppy and made it very obvious. I was literally in tears leaving this place and immediately reported her to corporate. AMBER should not be servicing animals at all! She’s insensitive, cruel, lacks customer service, and a heartless individual. It’s very obvious she’s doing this job for a check and NOT for the love of pets. I am a very well known business owner as well as a licensed cosmetologist in the area and will be making sure this community is aware of her!

Sam always grooms Koko perfectly. She treats him like he is her’s. The rest of the staff was friendly but they are new and don’t know Koko like Samantha does. So glad she is still there.
