We love this vet! While we were on vacation my mom brought our Teddy here when he had an emergency. She said the staff was so wonderful so we made the switch. Dr. Firestein is an absolute gem! You can tell she really cares about your fur baby! Also Kayla is a very attentive tech. She made Teddy comfortable during his appointment. What a beautifully renovated facility with a lovely staff!

I am so glad I found Owings Mills Vet Center for my pets. The entire staff are warm and compassionate and truly care about every pet that comes to the office. Dr. Firestein saved my dog’s, Taz, life and Dr. Franklin and Victoria supported me with genuine caring and understanding through end of life for my cat, Lily. Now, Dr. Paynter is doing all he can to make sure my dog, Max, lives the healthiest life he can. The front desk staff are super helpful and always call you back with updates. I cannot thank the entire staff enough for really being there for pet families in our community.

I’ve been bringing my three dogs to Owings Mills Vet Center for more than five years. I’ve literally spent thousands of dollars with this practice. I called today to schedule an appointment for my dog and they said I need to pre-pay for my examination due to past no shows. What!?!? I literally was just there in January with my dog and didn’t have to pre-pay to schedule. This practice needs to do a better job of deciding when to apply this policy. I will no longer bring my dogs here.

Goodness should be shared. I received a call from the gentleman who runs the vet office.we discussed the issues of poor communication and he apologized. I took Sage to them and they were excellent with her. She came back in the room happy with a wagging tail. My hats off to Dr. Franklin and the vet techs. They listened to me about Sages abusive background and did a great job. Thank you.

We cannot thank Owings Mills Veterinary Center enough for all of the care and love they have given to our two dogs Maggie & Max. Each time we go in the staff is so welcoming and friendly, from the front desk to the veterinarians the team truly does care about each and every pet that comes through that door! Dr. Samanthia Fierstein is amazing at what she does, our dogs love her so much! Victoria is also amazing and is such a crucial part of the entire experience for our two! She eases their fears and truly allows them to relax! The entire team is so talented and truly a blessing! We are so thankful for our amazing vet!

I didn’t know what to expect however, she was very professional at answering all questions that I had and made me feel very comfortable. My pet was in bad shape and by that night was 90% better . Dr. Franklin is a great veterinarian and always provides excellent care to Nala! She’s a very caring and compassionate person who patiently and thoroughly answers any question we have. Nala is always happy and excited to see her! Today we also had the pleasure of having Kayla assist Dr. Franklin with Nala’s visit. She was also very caring and kind and made us feel comfortable with the process!

I went to the Owings Mills Veterinary Center for the first time today. I called earlier today and they were able to give me an appointment a few hours later . The receptionist, the technician and the veterinarian Dr. Fierstein were all very nice. My cat is shy, but they were able to make her feel comfortable and told me how good she was and that she let them handle her with no problem. The visit and examinations we're thorough and quick. They also didn't press me for any unnecessary shots or examinations. They were able to give me some good recommendations and supplements. The prices were very reasonable. I will definitely come back.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Franklin and her tech. Their team is absolutely amazing. Aggression, illness, tick removal, mass, vomiting, anything you can think of we have experienced and the Owings mills vet team has helped me care for my dog every step of the way. Even during the pandemic, they were accessible virtually and now that we have returned to in-person services, they have not skipped a beat. I am blessed to have Dr. Franklin because truthfully so many other vets just weren’t as personable, knowledgeable, or even willing to assist and treat as Dr. Franklin has been to my dog. I am writing this in hopes that Dr. Franklin and her tech gets much needed kudos and awards for service and skill! They are amazing!!

Dont be fooled by the location. The clinic is clean and well taken care despite the renovations. There is no fur or grime in the corners like ive seen in other vet clinics. We've always been able to get an appointment in a timely manner and being able to book online, with an easy to use website, is a bonus.Dr. Fierstein and Dr. Paynter are excellent vets that are exceptional at taking care of our two cats and dog. Theyre knowledgeable and able to communicate well with us about our pet's issues. They always enter the room well prepared and are friendly. They really seem to share the enthusiasm we have about our pets.Last year we had to out down are little 15 year old dog. Dr. Paynter was able to give us a thorough diagnosis and our options. When the final appointment came Dr. Fierstein was kind and we were allowed to grieve before and after the appointment with our little guy. The staff was so very kind, we really appreciated everything they did for us.We we're so impressed with their professionalism that when we adopted our current dog there was no discussion on where to take her for her medical care.We've had wellness checks and emergency visits to this vet clinic. Every time we go everything is reasonably priced and we're never sold on any treatments unless theyre necessary. Dr. Paynter and Dr. Fierstein have always answered our worries and concerns quickly.I 100% recommend this vet practice, every five star review they receive is deserved and valid.

We have been bringing our dogs here since they were puppies! We started with our 2 boxers about 9 years ago when it was still Old Court Animal Hospital. We decided to stay with the practice even with their Doctor changes and location change. We now have a Cane Corso and we love bringing him here. Everyone is so afraid of him but not here for they treat him so well. We always refer family and friends! As long as we’re in the area we will being our fur babies! : ) oh yes and they are very affordable, as long as we’re in the area we will continue coming here! Dr. Franklin is amazing and the techs are great! We always meet with one tech in particular but I forget her name but she’s amazing she remembers moon each time and she asks about the family! If you are deciding where to take your pets here is a great start!

We brought our cats Roanoke and Renegade to Owings Mills Veterinary Center many times and always had a positive experience. Dr. Fierstein and Dr. Paynter are wonderful, compassionate, and caring, and the front desk staff is also informative and helpful. During 2020 when we were unable to accompany our newly-adopted kittens into the office due to COVID protocols, the team at Owings Mills Vet was kind and helpful, walking us through exam results on the phone. We have since moved away from Maryland and will miss bringing our cats in for their appointments! Highly recommend this vet for any Owings Mills residents.

I liked both the vet and his assistant staff, our puppy was happy and not scared getting his nails trimmed and tested etc in the back showed no signs of any kind of anxiety or stress. Vet took time to answer all of my questions and gave his recommendations and advice on many things and I appreciated that they never made me feel rushed when it was our first visit and we needed to cover a lot of things.

I've been a client for over 20 years. Old Court has been the perfect place to keep my dogs healthy. I love Dr. D. and the "boutique" personal attention and appreciate that medications and services are more economical than the more prominent vet businesses that I know about through other pet owners. When my elderly dog was in failing health from spinal issues, I was grateful for the support to extend her quality of life and compassionately navigate end of life steps. Also, Dr. D. personally tended to pre-care, forms, and arrangements for our special travel needs. I love all animals and have frequently noticed cats and other pets at Old Court during my visits, so know that this is a good place for all of your pets.

We taken our dog and cats to Old Court Animal for 30 years. Although we have worked with different vets, we are still so pleased with the quality of care of the doctors and staff. Dr. De Leon helped us through the health, illness and death of our old cat and she now cares for our 2 year olds. We even took in our neighborhood stray cat and De Leon was able to hold her and give her shots. We can always talk directly to the doctor on the phone, if we have a problem. The staff relays messages clearly and they treat our pets as if they were their own. The vets are knowledgeable and good listeners. They always tell us what our options are, no matter what the issue with our pets. Easy parking and the office is never crazy. This is a great place to bring your pets. You can be assured of good care.

Old Court is by far the best animal hospital (feels warm not like a busy clinic). Staff is very friendly. Never have to wait more than 5 minutes to see doctor. Staff always follow-up with a call after our visit to check on our dog and see how she is doing. Staff reminds me regarding our appointment by phone, email and/or text. Both doctors are great. They have a new website (pet records and other helpful preventive health info). Very knowledgeable and caring doctors. My dog is always happy to see doctors (wags her tail and licks their face). We are very lucky to have found Old Court Animal Hospital.

My cousin recommended us to Old Court and we have been going there for 8 years. Dr Deleon is our doctor for my dog Taz and she is friendly and my dog is very relaxed around her. She is very patient and loving to our pets and understands our nervousness and concerns. The staff are very friendly and professional and its like visiting your family. It was Dakota and I’d first time here. My previous appt at a different vet was some how not properly put in the system for today and they refused to see me until 2 weeks when a new appt was available. I was expecting my dogs ear to be examined today since I waited 2 weeks for my “set” appt, so I called around desperate for an appt so my dogs ear could be looked at considering I took today off for it to be seen. I called Owings Mills Vet Center and they had an appt available for today. I believe Kat picked up the phone, she was SO sweet and I felt good about this place before even showing up. When we showed up everyone was super friendly. We saw the vet tech and she was AMAZING (I forget her name but she had natural red hair). She was very patient (Dakota gets very nervous around others), explained everything, and worked on building trust with Dakota. She gave me good tips about getting Dakota comfortable for future visits, as well as techniques for medication administration. When we needed another hand to examine/administer her medication, her coworkers were readily available and happy to help. Every single person I met there was AMAZING. I honestly can’t say that enough. The price was broken down for examination, testing, and medication. The price was very reasonable and they provided different prices to be depending on which medication option I wanted. I really appreciated them informing of the cost before I made my decision. Thank you all so much! We will be making this place out primary vet from now on! :)

We are so thankful we found this place!!! We have been patients for a little over a year now and the staff is just so accommodating and kind. We were nervous about a procedure for our puppy as there are risks with any surgery. Our minds were put at ease from the kind staff and Dr. Paynter. I had a flood in my condo and had to be displaced to an apartment. They required records of my cats vaccinations. I had a hard time finding a place who could take them ASAP. Owings Mills Veterinary Center took me the next day. The Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful The Doctor was excellent and took his time explaining everything regarding my two Himalayans. The shots were given and medication for one of them; which I would not have known he needed for his eye. Very satisfied with this place.

My pets are treated with care and kind service at Old Court Animal Hospital. We are promptly greeted at the door. There is no long wait time before my pets are seen by the physician. I'm explained the condition and cost of treatments. Doctors and staff are professional and very friendly to me and my cats. Office and treatment areas are neat and clean. Always given good advice towards best treatment and care for my pets. I'm always reminded about future appointments 24 hours before my appointment to insure I make my appointment by a phone call.

The Old Court Animal Hospital cannot be beat starting as you walk in the door with the friendly, caring and courteous staff. Dr. D is a very attentive, caring, loving and knowledgeable vet. She takes the time to understand the concern and issues of the patient. We have five (5) babies (cats) that are our life and would not trust their care and well-being to anyone else. Dr. D not only gives 150% attention to her patient but the owner as well ensuring you understand the diagnosis, what medications along with how they should be given and any follow-up’s that may be needed to ensure a full recovery. There is absolutely no one else we would let take care of our babies whether for regular checkups or in time of need. Kudos to all at Old Court Animal Hospital we greatly appreciate you and the great service you provide.We are new to the area and when our cat became ill we called for advice which was very helpful. We can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. D and her entire staff! We used to bring our Dobermans many years ago, both have since passed, but now bring our recent rescue Chance to the clinic for every necessity. No matter if it's a health issue or something simple like a nail trim (which isn't always so simple), you'll never meet a more compassionate, caring group of individuals. Anytime I call with a concern about one of our dogs, Dr. D immediately gets on the phone with me to ask a million questions. She's an incredible diagnostician, and will usually try to help over the phone so a visit isn't always warranted. The entire staff is extremely professional and always empathetic to your needs. We have had excellent response from Old Court whether it be for sick animals or regular visits. Dr. deLeon is one of the most caring vets we have ever met, as well as being extremely capable. The office staff are also quite welcoming and caring. The only issue we have ever had is a wait for our appointment time, but that is because Dr. deLeon takes as much time as she needs to address the concerns about our animals, as well as those who have appointments before ours. We have happily recommended Old Court to friends who have also had very good experiences.
