the cashier was rude n just threw my stuff down the shoot like it was nothing n then bag my stuff how ever she wanted not even caring about the heavy stuff being on top of the lighter stuff n she rushed off to leave she had her coat on when bagging my groceries. I understand ur ready to go but don't throw a customer's groceries down the shoot so roughly.

Went to get a prescription which took them over and hour to fill. Once it was "filled" I was told they could only fill 1/3 of one of my medications and they couldn't fill another one. Had to wait 3 days to get all the medication I was prescribed. Never using Giant pharmacy again

Went to the pharmacy to get the update COVID vaccine. Lady stated that there was a 45-60 minute wait since I did not have a scheduled appointment. Told her I tried to schedule on-line but there were no appointments available in the AM for a number of days. She said to try to schedule later. Also- there were 0 customers waiting. Left and went to local Rite Aid. NO APPOINTMENT needed- in and out in less then 15 minutes!!

Reviewing vaccine experience & precautions - staff was friendly checking in, they have a plexiglass barrier at pharmacy windows and check in person I had was wearing a surgical mask.Because I switched my appt time they didn't have my online paperwork anymore, not the local staffs fault that the system works that way, but a bit annoying that I had to fill out paperwork by hand and then wait while they typed it in after I'd already taken the time to do it online. I had not been to this pharmacy chain so they were starting from scratch. So I guess start a new online reservation if you need to switch days/ times or if you have a printer at home, print it and bring it with you. I took the clipboard outside to complete the paperwork to reduce time spent in the pharmacy area.It was not too busy in the pharmacy area at 10am on a weekday and I was able to keep a distance from other patrons. The pharmacy is near the front of the store and the vaccination station is chairs in an open hallway area to the side of the pharmacy, no special airflow added but it's not an enclosed space and there are big ceilings in the building in general, so not too bad on airflow hopefully.Maybe 1/3 of general store customers at this time of day were wearing masks, mostly cloth or surgical, a few kn95 or better.The person giving the vaccine was wearing a mask and face shield and was fast and friendly. I wasn't asked follow-up questions about "yes" check marks on the vax safety screening. I had done ok with previous covid vaccine doses, so I was ok without further clarification, but another pharmacy had double checked on similar responses, more fyi.Hope this is helpful for others scoping out booster locations. I got my prev boost at Costco which also was a bit slow on paperwork admin as a new customer (Costco membership not needed for vax or using pharmacy in general) but vax itself was fast and everyone was friendly. Sitting area was out in the open. They didn't have my preferred option this time so tried this store instead.

I was notified 2 days ago that my prescription was ready. I arrived at giant today at 3:35 pm. I spoke with a young lady who told me how much my medicine was. When I asked if it could be run through GoodRX I was placed on hold for 15 minutes. When she arrived back at the phone she acted like it was her first time talking to me and we went thru everything all over again and she gave me the price, took my CC info and said she would be right out. After waiting another 15 minutes, I called back in and got a gentleman who said he was the pharmacist - and asked for everything all over again. I asked to speak with a manager and he told me the manager was on vacation and he was the one that could help me. After being on the phone and repeatedly telling him the medicine was already paid for - he told me that they only had 8 pills and we could come back tomorrow and get the rest snd pay then. Now mind you, it is 86 degrees outside with 81% humidity. So at 88 years pls old there was no way I could sit on my car for over 30 minutes without air. Gas is 4.69 a gallon and I had to run my car for all of this time burning gas to run the air while all this is happening. This has been a very frustrating situation today and NO customer should have to go thru this.

The pharmacist on duty August 24 at 1:00 is super professional and helpful. He went beyond his duties to offer help when filling a prescription. He’s a real asset to this store.
