I have been coming to this bakery for years for many of our life events. My favorites were the cakes for our wedding and baby shower. I wish we were able to keep pieces but our guests tore it up and left no crumbs behind! Luckily we can pick up cupcakes any time but make sure to get there early in the day because the best flavors sell out. I recommend sweet potato, red velvet, and Martha's vineyard (strawberry). The staff is very professional and consistent with their services.

What a cute little bakery! We got the cheesecake brownie, the key lime pie, and the banana pudding cake! Everything was DELICIOUS! we will be back!!Go get some Peruvian chicken from next door and then walk over to this bakery for dessert. Phenomenal!!!!! Get the banana pudding cake!

This review is super late. I stopped by a few minutes before 6 pm while in the area on Saturday, 10-1-22. Wanted something sweet for either dinner or a late night snack.I didn't know what I wanted, so I went with something different, a banana pudding cake slice. As a fellow baker, I can be a little critical of baked goods. The cake passed the test as it was moist, flavorful, and the icing was the cherry on top. Definitely plan to return the next time I'm in the area.

UPDATE: Fresh Bakery reached out to apologize and make amends for the experience that I had with the sweet potato pies.That type of commitment to quality and customer service overrides everything!I will definitely continue to do business with Fresh Bakery.KUDOS to Fresh Bakery!!I ordered 2 sweet potato pies Mar 5. Customer service was excellent. The pies were ready on time. The crust on both pies was delicious and done (one of my pet peeves). Unfortunately, the sweet potato filling was not sweet -- at all and had very little spices in it. Worse, the texture was stringy and clumpy. Sweet potatoes can be stringy, but the bakers should know how to reduce those strings significantly. I will not be ordering pies from here again.

When I walked into Fresh Bakery I was greeted by an overwhelming delicious smell, a clean environment, and a kind staff member. I pre ordered a lemon crunch cheesecake which I think was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had - and I’ve had a lot of cheesecakes! Everything looked too tempting so I ended up getting six cupcakes as well, and I can surely say they were the moistest cupcakes I’ve ever had. Will definitely be coming back!

I purchased a cake from here. The cake taste good, but the icing was more so gold and it was supposed to be white. Also when it was time for me to pick up my cake they were closed so luckily they were still inside and hadn’t left yetI was able to get my cake, but no one called to say hey you know we closing at five bc I see that you have a cake that needs to be picked upMy cake was already paid for I’m almost certain that if it wasn’t paid for im sure someone would’ve called , The lady had mentioned oh if we have time will call, if you see someone paid for their order, you cannot make time to call a customer ,They did not care I had a birthday celebrate the same day an because it was already paid for and They already got their money the could care less if I received my order, just because of that I will not be returning.. wow smh

There are no better cupcakes than the ones at Fresh Bakery. I thought the Martha's Vineyard were the best I ever had until I had the Almond Raspberry. I thought they were the best until I had the Pistachio. I thought they were the best until I had the Apple Pie. I thought they were the best until I had the Peach. They just keep on putting out better and better cupcakes.

The cake was esthetically pleasing to the eye. However, the cake was overcooked! I can taste it in evey bite. The strawberries were throughout the cake and were fresh and the cream was light. I didn't care for the strawberry ends ( Greenery) being left on the fruit, even the ones inside of the cake. Overall, the cake was ok, It would have been Fantastic if it wasn't over baked. I can’t shake the taste of a overbaked cake that was hard around and hidden with fresh condiments.

Five stars for Fresh Bakery and their wedding cake services! We came to Anna a few months before our wedding and showed her our inspo pics. Not only did she match our wedding cake to our inspo cake to a T, she was truly a joy to work with as was the team the day of our wedding! I highly recommend anyone to choose Fresh Bakery for their wedding cake!!

Fresh Bakery! I will not cheat on you. My family has purchased cakes for multiple occasions and we are never disappointed.... but this past Saturday. I wanted and NEEEDED last minute cupcakes to celebrate a friend and 5 minutes before closing we got all the cupcakes needed... and they were DELICIOUS per usual!!!! Where can you get THEEEEEE FRESHEST, LAST MINUTE.... FRESH BAKERY. Always nice, clean and professional!!!!! Above and beyond on delivery as well. Thank you all.

Let me just start by saying… the desserts at Fresh Bakery are absolutely phenomenal. The cakes are decadent and sublime. No matter the occasion, Fresh Bakery has always delivered not only on moist, fluffy and perfectly sweetened cakes, but the decorations have always exceeded my expectations. Every celebration that I’ve had whether it’s a birthday party or a movie review party, the cake was always the focal party of my table regardless of the other food present. And, it’s not limited to just the cakes; the cupcakes and cookies are amazing as well. Needless to say, I’ve been coming to Fresh Bakery for over four years for several of my events throughout the year; the desserts, and the service never disappoints. The staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable that I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for my dessert needs. Blair, the General Manager, helped me out with a last minute order of 3 dozen cookies for my dad’s birthday party. My father absolutely loves Fresh Bakery’s oatmeal raisin cookies because they are soft, moist and simply put— exquisite.I’d recommend this place to anyone in need of great tasting desserts with even better customer service.

I really had no idea on how I wanted my cake designed for my wedding. I was only a month away and needed a cake to feed 120 guest. Anna was great in helping me create a design. She made it so simple. We used Fresh Bakery to do our cake for our 25th Vow Renewal Anniversary celebration on 9/5/2022. The cake was phenomenal! From start to finish, we dealt with Anna, the manager about what we wanted from tasting, colors, flavors, and sizes.Anna was very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and easy to deal with, which made us feel at ease about our final decisions. Our cake was delivered to the venue without a hitch. Fresh Bakery did an "Awesome" job, and the cake was absolutely, delicious. You want what they've got! Greeted upon walking and cordial with staff who were obliging to let me peruse until I was ready to order. I was very excited to see they have housemade banana pudding & it lived up to the hype! Chunks of real banana with creamy well flavored pudding and fluffy cream. Great ratio of pudding, cream, and soft wafers. also got the double chocoalte cupcake which was delicious, soft, and ultra chocolately without crumbling to bits!Wheelchair accessibility: No step into or inside the shop. In a shopping plaza with accessible ramps and wide sidewalks. Interior room for power chair and low counters to pay.

Fresh Bakery has always been delicious no matter what I order. Last year I chose them for my wedding cake and it was beautiful and delicious! A year later I was able to get this beautiful anniversary cake complementary. They even rushed the order so I could pick it up on my actual anniversary date.

I love my cake And everyone who had a slice was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. It was a deliciously moist almond cake with the slightest amount of fresh raspberry jam between the layers and topped with decadent dollops of almond buttercream and zesty raspberry jam finished with a band of almand slice at the base. I had to call to check to see if it was ready, there was no follow up email when the cake was ready. All in all I loved the cake. I'll definitely order this one again.

Came here to get a last minute cake and cupcakes for my cat's birthday. There are a small selection of cakes to buy on-the-spot. I bought a red velvet cake and variety of different flavored cupcakes. Store employee was extremely helpful in answering questions and accommodating requests. I am not a fan of sugary desserts so personally, the cake was too sweet for me. I think it is 5-star quality though. Cupcakes are also very sugary but I liked them. Will definitely try pre-ordering a cake next time to get one of the more exclusive flavors.

I got the peach cobbler and the Charleston chocolate on vanilla. The cake was a little bit dryer than I would like. The chocolate icing was a good flavor. The peach cobbler was dry as well. I didn’t enjoy either of them.

Still love this bakery. It remains my favorite bakery in Maryland. I ordered two cakes for a special event. They came out great. Cupcakes are always so moist and delicious. The sweet potato cake and slice of coconut lemon cake are my favorites. I wish they would sell slices of the sweet potato cake. Too many favs for the cupcakes. Just make sure you go! You won't regret it.Edited: Added the pics from the various times I've ordered cakes. I was not happy with my birthday cake that I ordered in 2019. It was for my 30th bday dinner. Not great work at all. The drip was not done well and it did not look like the pic I sent them. I did fix it with my own decorations.

THE BEST CAKE EVER!!, I ordered a cake for my Quinceanera Birthday Party and also some cupcakes in different flavors and cakepops...OMG SO DELICIOUS, creamy, fresh, well decorated, moist, loved every detail...PERFECT!!Everyone were taking pictures and enjoyed so much!, Thanks to the owner and all the bakers.You can have a great event...but cake has to be a blast!!! I'm so happy because my choice was completely right! Finally I've found a treasure!!
