When I say I’m so sick and tired of this unprofessional pharmacy.I called the pharmacy to check on my prescription no answer. No problem I left a voice mail.Within 10 minutes Priscilla calls me back to inform me my prescription is ready for pick up my order is waiting in the Bin.It’s a Sunday and they close early so I decide to go down on my 30 minute break. I get there just for the gentlemen in the window to tell me my order is not in stock I told him that’s not true procilla literally just called and told me it’s ready and waiting for pick up he then told me to give him a second.I’m thinking maybe I made a mistake and placed the order at the wrong pharmacy I calls the number who called me and they answered I can see the guy through the window on the phone and I’m like oh ok I have the right pharmacy Pricilla just called me from this number saying my prescription is ready and the gentlemen just told me it’s not in stock l. He hangs up and comes to the window and tells me the order wasn’t ready yet and it will be ready in 15 minutes. This is a repeat issue with this staff. As people have time and gas to burn to arrive at a pharmacy after being notified that their medication is ready to come there sit in a 20 minute line just to be told it’s lot ready, not in stock and oh it’s going to be ready in15 minutes. ATP they just tell customers anything to make their day go by faster

I have used this pharmacy pretty regularly since they opened, minus a few times when medication shortages forced me to seek my prescriptions elsewhere. The pharmacy staff at this store is wildly inconsistent. There are some really great folks and there are some who are not helpful whatsoever (and frankly shouldn't have a job in customer service).Just Friday, I went in to pickup the new dosage of a medication my PCP called in earlier in the week. I went to the pickup window, gave my name, they got the medication I asked to have it knocked down to 1 month supply instead of 3 so I was moved to the consultation window. I did the math in my head and knew even picking up 1 month, the prescription was more than 3x what it cost last month (at this same pharmacy) so when I questioned this, Jupiter told me "I don't make the rules." She stood there, punching things into the system, and got the cost down a couple hundred dollars, still close to 3x what I paid last month...I asked again why the difference from last month and she sort of shrugged me off. Annoyed, I left.I went home and did some research online, for this medication, I'm using a manufacturers savings card in addition to my employer insurance, I found explicit instructions from the drug manufacturer on how the major chain pharmacies have to enter the savings card into their system as a secondary insurance, so I printed this out and went back in the next day. I immediately went to the consultation counter because I knew this would require a rerun of the insurance. I put down the printed instructions, printed savings card and my insurance card and said I need you to follow these instructions and use my insurance as the primary and the savings card as a secondary...the girl who helped me didn't need to look at the instructions, she typed a few things into the computer and she tells me the cost is $75 cheaper than I paid last month!?I shouldn't have had to waste my own time to research how the CVS employees should do their jobs...I recognize our health insurance system in this country is broken and inaccessible, but CVS should equip their employees with the training they need to do their customer service oriented job better. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1, the medication I mention above is in high demand and I've read is very difficult for some pharmacies to get in stock, but I have not encountered this with this store, my doctor called the prescription in on Wednesday and by Friday I had a text from CVS saying it was ready to pickup. All that said, I think it's time for me to explore some of the smaller local pharmacies for when I need just one month of medication and use my insurance mail order option (unfortunately also through CVS) for my 3 month supply of medications to deliver directly to me.

Waiting in a line for 45 mins before closing and to close on your last 3 customers was pretty unprofessional. I get not wanting to work after your set off time but to not put up a sign or inform the customers of how many more you can take was inconsiderate. Your time isn’t only valuable, all of ours are. Were all tired, its not what you did its how you did it. Enjoy your evening.

Called Dec. 8, 2023 at 3:51pm. Asked a simple question of the pharmacist - "Do you still offer free COVID tests, as it states online?" After that, the pharmacist says that I can make an appointment. I said, no thank you, I was calling about the free COVID tests you were giving out. She said that I can buy them at 10, 15, or 25 dollars, because the Government isn't giving them out anymore. I asked what is the difference. She said brand. I said thank you and ordered some from the Government because they were giving them out...Her attitude could not have been more helpful - at telling people she doesn't care about their well-being and that she clearly hates her job. If you're that unhappy, then don't work in a place that is supposed to help people. You aren't doing them any favors. And the time stamp is here for your manager's approval. Enjoy.

Submitted a request for prescription refill over a week ago. Got a text today stating the refill was ready. I get there around 1:50pm and see the pharmacy shutters are down but people were clearly in the pharmacy area. I then remember that they close for lunch. Not a problem. I waste time looking around the store and begin chatting with an associate who tells me the pharmacy is closed to the public today and will be closed tomorrow. I call a neighboring CVS and inquire if they had my medication in stock and was told no but Owings Mills does. No other CVS in the area had it. I explain the situation and was told there was no way to transport my medication from Owings mills to a neighboring CVS even though Owings Mills location is open but closed to the public.

The team members at this CVS are patient, kind, helpful and courteous. They really don’t matter mind assisting customers. Refreshing!

This is the worst CVS store I’ve encountered. I bought two 16x20 canvas print online for a same day pick up, did not get to pick it up same day. I called twice that day & was told two different things. The first call I was told it would be ready within 3 hours, called again & apparently spoke with the store manager Theresa & she said she doesn’t know when it’ll be ready & that the estimate time isn’t accurate. So why have the option to have a same day pick up if it’s not really true? Got a call the next day from CVS letting me know they can’t process my order bc they don’t have the materials for a 16x20 canvas print. If I could give this store a 0 stars I would!! Don’t ever go here again!!

The pharmacy staff have terrible attitudes and put no effort into customer service. The drive through is always closed. Today they had a sign up that read “Come inside. The drive through is closed from 1-2”. I proceeded inside and was met with the gate down and a rude white woman with brown hair that scoffed and said “we’ve always been closed 1:30-2 inside”. I told her about the conflicting sign outside and no signs inside.. so she went over and snatched down the drive through sign and balled it up then continued ignoring the line of customers including me outside the gate. Go sonewhere else.

prefer using this pharmacy for all of my needs because it's conveniently located near my house. Every time I've gone there, I received average service—neither good nor bad. However, today was a different experience. I went to pick up a prescription that my doctor had sent for my daughters, and a technician informed me that they didn't have it in stock. I was never informed beforehand that they didn't have the medication. They suggested transferring it to the nearby CVS (North), and I agreed. Instead of making a simple phone call to the other pharmacy to fill the prescription for me, they asked me to go to that pharmacy and personally request the transfer. It was frustrating to not only have to drive to another pharmacy but also wait for a significant amount of time to speak to a pharmacist and then wait another hour or so to obtain the prescription for my daughter. This pharmacy seems to be either severely understaffed or indifferent to their customers. It would have been much better if they had informed me in advance about the unavailability of the medication. Additionally, they should have taken the initiative to ensure that the prescription was ready for me when I arrived at the other pharmacy. Due to this experience, I have decided to switch my business to Rite Aid. I strongly recommend staying away from this pharmacy!

Attempted to use their same day photo services for an anniversary gift. Put in an order online at 8 am and received an email it was ready at 9 am. When I got off work and went to the store to pick up the order at 3:30 pm the associate said that they didn’t have any canvases in stock and “they meant to call me”. Because someone couldn’t take 1 minute to call me about my order I’m extremely inconvenienced. Go somewhere else that is more professional than here.

This CVS was our UPS access point for a while now and every time we go, it seems like they are understaffed and the service is slow. We get our paper towels delivered here every 2 months and every time, they have a difficult time finding our package even if we already point to the big box. This weekend we came in twice to try to pickup our package and the store was closed! We sat there for an hour watching customers approach the door and turn around because there’s “power outage” when we can see outside lights on! There was someone in the store. We saw them take down one of the hand-written signs. CVS corporate better check this one out. I can’t imagine people who actually need their medications being turned around because of a so-called “power outage”. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this “power outage” sign on that door btw.

This CVS is the worse this is the second time I’ve come to this CVS before 9pm and the doors are locked last time the little security lady told she was told by her boss to lock the doors at 8:43pm today I got there at 8:20 doors locked lights on and no workers to be seen they need to fire EVERYBODY and hire new people that actually care they need to fire the pharmacy people too cause they never have kids medicine and I always have to Reisterstown

The pharmacy department is horrible. Ever since they hired this pharmacist Abigail. The service has went down terribly. The new techs they are hiring aren’t helpful. They don’t check all your medication payment information…before they telling you your medication cost money …when most of the time it doesn’t. I will not be returning here. Everyone that work back there is rude and disrespectful. They definitely don’t take pride in there job or even enjoy what they do from what it look like.

Had to give one star because there is nothing lower. This CVS lives up to it's lowest expectations. Minimal staff and the ones that are there have NO clue what they are doing.Went to pick up photos that after having to call was told they were in and I should have been called weeks ago.The young lady who took awhile to come to the register seemed annoyed that I was there. She obviously has vision problems since she could not find my name but did stick an envelope in front of me and asked if that was it. WRONG name, not close. Had to ask for a manager twice and the young lady then called someone and whispered into the phone prior to paging someone. The gentleman who showed up was able to find the envelope quickly that had no pictures, no explanation, no answers. This is the second and last time I have been there The first time was worse. I think there was only one person working and when the line grew someone showed up. The few employees that are there are totally disinterested in the customers. I guess you get what you pay for.

This pharmacy operation is dangerous. customer service is extremely poor but I do believe the attitude of the pharmacist and team is due to feeling overwhelmed and unsupported. They clearly need help and with lack of resources , they deal with rude customers and in turn are rude as well. I would not recommend getting prescriptions filled here. I won’t get in to details about my scenario but I do hope that upper management can provide this team more help. Prescriptions are in bins on the floor and taking a cashier a very long time to find. Lines are extremely long, phones ringing off the hook. I’ll also note that my PCP office has asked patients not to contact or rely on the local pharmacy (cvs @ 10201 reistertown is directly across the street) for prescriptions / prescription refills or therapy management as they do not have time to check messages, have a frequently failed electronic fax system , often get orders wrong and do not accurately review patient profiles for duplicate therapy (this has happened to me and I worry that people will be taking the wrong medication or too much medication due to pharmacy oversight) . It is very sad and as I’ve mentioned.. dangerous. I hope this store gets rye help needed to succeed and better support our community.

The staff is this store is remarkable. I thought those days were gone. The Pharmacist Lawrence (got a booster and Flu) last week, was thorough and kind. The young associates are attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. I know you know how you are treated at some locations, give this one a try! Note: Not sure of all employees but the few I've had were great. Drive thru is slow tho, tried that for Covid tests. Perhaps it's because only 1 person at a time can be attended to in that window-LOL

I called today to have my prescription transferred here. First of all the young lady that answered the phone was having a full conversation with someone else and then decided to say hello. She asked for my information I gave it to her I explain to her what I was trying to do she said in a nasty tone hold on came back five minutes later stated that the prescription would not be in until Tuesday or Wednesday and I said to her well don’t worry about it I can pick it up from Columbia on Monday she says well it’s too late it’s already been transferred. She never asked me if that was ok , just NASTY for no reason. So I hung up and called Columbia, the nice young woman answered the phone switched my prescription back and it will be ready on Monday. Customer service is so important but apparently that means absolutely nothing to Owings Mills

This place is honestly the worst. I have to basically fight to get my prescription filled every month. Last month I was told my medication had to be ordered and would be in stock in 2 days. I waited and called every 2 days and each time they said they are waiting for the truck to come. After almost 2 weeks I had to basically yell at the woman to get actual help. She kept telling me I need to get my doctor to send a whole new prescription to a different location. I KNOW that is a lie and after almost 20 minutes of arguing they sent my prescription to another location. The same thing happened today. My doctor sent the prescription in on the 10th and I went in today only to be told IT WAS NEVER ORDERED. Oh and don’t even bother trying to call. You’ll be on hold for a minimum of 15 minutes every time. Honestly every CVS is like this and I suggest just going to Walgreens or something.

Thank you Mr. Davis and CVS team. I recently needed to get my booster vaccine and was very nervous, but the staff at CVS helped to make this process a seamless one. I dont usually take the time to write reviews, but I am very scared of needles and thanks to the nurse there at CVS, I was able to get boosted and now will be able to go see my family this weekend without having to worry. I signed up to go to the CVS in Owings Mills and the nurse there greeted me with a smile and helped me to feel at ease throughout the process. He was an African nurse, Mr. Davis, who helped me through this process. He was calm, gentle, and answered all my questions throughout the process and before I knew it, he gave me the vaccine, I did not even feel it !! I am scheduling my kids back to see Mr. Davis, because they too are scared of needles. Thank you Mr. Davis, and thank you to the CVS team !!!!I will recommend this CVS to my friends and will definitely come here for future needs.

If I could grade this pharmacy any lower , I would. Dropped off prescription at 3:30 in the afternoon. No text after 3 hours. Called to check the status of my prescription. Some lady told me it was filled at another location. When I asked her if I could have the phone# for where my prescription was. I mostly got attitude from this lady with a heavy Russian accent. Sounds like she was upset that I could not telepathically deduce the location of the my prescription and that she would have to input a couple of key strokes to find what I asked her. So I called the location where she said they have my prescription. They said they don't have any prescription for me. Called back this CVS. It was such a great experience listing to their repeating ads about all of the vaccines I could get from CVS for 30 minutes . After I explained the situation. I was told I have a prescription for 2 sepearte meds written on 1 doctors ledger. So they never bothered to call or text me when they could not fill it. And from the reviews the lady with the Russian accent lies to everyone and tells them their prescriptions are filled at another pharmacy rather than taking the time to actually look up my prescription status. But she likes to hive you an attitude. This pharmacy is garbage

Stay away from this pharmacy. The employees are incompetent and fail to understand how important it is to fill prescriptions correctly. I drove an hour round trip to pick up medicine from there as my local CVS store failed to fill it for 2 weeks. Upon getting back, i found that they had filled it with the wrong manufacturer's medicine that was clearly written on the prescription. It took the pharmacist at my local CVS more than 25 minutes to try to explain to the pharmacy on what to do to correct the situation. Please learn from my experience and go elsewhere.

I came in well before the pharmacy was closing.. Well just because the pharmacist didnt know how to do his job and could not find the medicine him and some other rude guy who don't know what's going on came out of no where and walked to the back and begin to shut the window in my face talking about come another day after I waited over 20 minutes while he ran around like a chicken with his head gone... Very unprofessional and unpleasant people who work there.

I went to the CVS Owings Mills location to get my flu shot and my experience was absolutely horrible! The man who was trying to give me the shot was absolutely rude. He called me back to get my flu shot and asked me for my vaccine card. I asked him why because I was not told I needed to present it upon getting my flu shot. He caught an immediate attitude and said let me see your ID. I showed him my ID and he roughly pushed it back towards me and said; "I wasn't talking to you", along with gesturing me to remove myself from the booth. Then he called me back again and rudely told me to put my sleeve up. I asked to see what he was putting in my arm and he said no. He REFUSED to show me what it was he was putting in my arm. I have every right to know what is going in MY body. Especially since he almost gave me a COVID vaccine when I came for a FLU SHOT. Totally unacceptable and inappropriate. It is scary to know that CVS denies you the right to know what is going inside of your own body.

You don't even pick up the phone when your open !

Went to drop off my children's prescription last night, I waited at the "drop off" window for about 10-12 minutes with my 6 year old before even being acknowledged. Once the lady asked if I was in the "drop off" line to drop off a prescription and I said yes, she said hold on please it's just the two of us here :(. When she finally came over and I gave her the prescriptions for my two sick kids, she asked if I needed them that night it was about 3 pm, I said no I can wait (she seemed flustered), she then told me what time they open this morning and I agreed to come back at that time. I pulled up in the drive through because by now surely my order must be ready, only to be told by the lady it was not ready yet and I have to wait another 15 minutes, meanwhile my husband is waiting on me to get home because the kids are sick and home from school so that he can go to work :(. I rolled up my window to wait at the drive through so that they can hand me the meds and I can head home, after about 5 minutes, the pharmacist opens the window and proceeds to tell me that they cannot just have me wait at the drive through window, that I can pull around and wait in the parking lot or come in, at which time I tell her no problem and pull off without my prescriptions. Now about 15 minutes after I get home, I get a text saying my prescription is ready. That was my last time using this pharmacy to fill my prescriptions and probably CVS for that matter and I am going to ask them to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Very dissatisfied!Update 2/2/22—-now more ghetto than ever but then again so is Baltimore county now. I truly believe that if you want good consistent customer service you have to move out of Baltimore Smh! Clearly many of these companies are hiring from the hood 😩Update 10/7/22---not perfect but the new gentleman pharmacist and many of the staff have been kind and patient. The lines and the wait time for the pharmacy are often long though.

the service was HORRIBLE. The person working the window told us “we don’t have this here and gave us back the prescription.” She didn’t ask if the prescription was urgent and did not offer to order it. She was very short in her responses and seemed to have an attitude when I asked questions about our options to obtain the medication. It was probably one of my worst experiences at a pharmacy. I am writing this review to inform others who are ill or dropping off prescriptions to go to another location if at all possible. Even if medication is not in stock, it can be ordered or the customer can be told where to go to get further assistance. I asked her to call another CVS to see if they had it and she said “we don’t do that.” I understand many are having bad days but there are tons of poor reviews for this location and it is fairly new to the area. I hope Management does a mystery shopper survey or a through audit of the store soon. This was beyond poor service. FYI. The CVS in Resisterstown was much more friendly and provided options to assist with the prescription. 😃

This store's appearance is disgraceful. From the RUBBISH-littered entrance outdoors/indoors to the disheveled displays and lacking assistance, they might be better to shut the store down and only run the pharmacy from the drive thru. I have NEVER seen a CVS in such bad shape.
