I cannot recommend Dog Containment Systems enough - Donna and Richard have made the process of installing, training and maintaining our Pet Stop system a breeze. My primary concern was having a system that would work through trees, brush, and driveway, and none of those posed an issue. Our property is five acres and Pet Stop pricing is very affordable for larger lots. Richard was patient and knowledgeable training our large dog who is aggressive with new people within minutes. I’ve had Pet Stop now for two years and am so glad I made this decision!!

Richard and Donna were wonderful to work with! They were personable, knowledgeable and experienced. Richard gave us exactly what we needed and worked with us and our dog to make sure everything was running smoothly. When we needed to make fine-tuning adjustments to the settings a few weeks later, Donna walked me through the process by phone, step-by-step. She was patient and lovely throughout! Richard spent an entire day installing an electric fence around our property to ensure our crazy hound dog stayed safely in the yard. He then walked us through the training process for an hour afterward, making sure we were comfortable and confident with the set up. Richard came back several days later as a follow up. Six months later, Donna and Richard were just as responsive when we needed help adjusting the fence’s electrical output. Richard went so far as to fix our old chain link fence, just to be safe. Donna and Richard run a fantastic business. They’re responsive, professional and truly wonderful to work with. Our dog wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them. We’ve had a lot of people out to our old fixer upper and hands down, Richard and Donna are two of our favorites. Their kindness is unmatched and we’re so grateful for their services. I highly recommend this company.

This company is very trustworthy and reliable. You can be assured the first quote is very reasonable and the best they can do for you. The owners are personable and friendly and you can feel free to call them with any question or help in becoming familiar with your new system at any time while you own your dog fence. They have several choices and the systems are state of the art and extremely reliable. I have several neighbors who have used them and their systems are still operating perfectly after many, many years. They personally train your dog after installing the system. Richard had our dog trained in 15 minutes without alarming or scaring him in any way and they came back the next day to check in and see how he was doing and if any adjustments were needed with the collar or system. I think our pet felt very comfortable with his new boundaries right away. And it has definitely improved the quality of our lives and well as the dog's!! Thanks Donna and Richard!

We've used Pet Stop at 2 homes now. Richard and Donna are an absolute pleasure to work with. They have always been extremely responsive and the systems are a good value. Our dogs took to the fences right away. The collars give them a warning beep, so they aren't being "shocked" all the time and even the shock is not bad. Richard makes sure that the system is set so that it is low enough to elicit a response from your dog, but not scare or hurt the dog. I really appreciated that Richard did some training with them and came back to follow up to see how we were doing. A+ Thanks!!

Six years ago, Dog Containment Systems installed a system for our new dog. The system worked perfectly and the training provided was excellent. After not using the system for a few years, we scheduled Richard to come back out and train a new dog and everything with the system still worked flawlessly. What I like most about Dog Containment Systems, is that when you have a question, they always answer the phone and have as much time as necessary to walk thru system changes over the phone when we decide to take advantage of different features of their system. Donna and Richard are true professionals and install a great product!

Richard was amazing with our dogs! We have a bull mastiff and English Bulldog. They took to the training and the fence perfectly. I was concerned because we live in the "country". Our Bullmastiff loves deer and other animals. I thought she would take off and blow through the fence. She a very active and fast bull mastiff. She has never gone through the fence!It's amazing. Richard and Donna are a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend. We will be using themagain in the summer for our new home.

Richard did the original installation of our fence about 12 years ago. They have been maintaining our fence ever since. Verizon cut our line when Fios was installed on our street and Richard and Donna were able to help us weed through the logistics of reimbursement. I have worked with Donna and Richard for 13 years. Donna is wonderful in the office and so responsive. Follows up right away with batteries and schedules. Richard knows his stuff. We have only had two situations when our system failed and Richard was able to find both breaks in the line. As it turned out, it was our friendly neighborhood FIOS folks who cut and later spliced the line. Richard showed me the splice and explained to me the ineffective way they did it. Other than these two times, the system has worked great and I would recommend Dog Containment to others.

I could not be happier with my invisible fence from Pet Stop! Thank you so much to Richard and Donna! Last year I got my pandemic dog who is very energetic and I thought would never ever be contained by an invisible fence. Richard told me he’s sure he could contain him and if not will just come back and remove the fence with no charge. What company gives you that kind of guarantee? One year later my Cooper is an angel in the yard. We live with a walking path behind our house and many people and dogs walk by. Cooper is totally contained and has never run through the fence. Even with all the distractions . He got a small notification once by the fence and that was it! He is totally contained and totally happy in the yard. I could not be happier as I can now sit in my yard front and back without any worries. This was the best thing I could do for my dog and for me! You will not be disappointed with Richard at Pet Stop. We were first introduced to Richard and Donna and the "invisible" underground fence in 1984. We were new home owners and the idea of physically fencing over three acres was daunting both economically and aesthetically. We tried the underground fence. We have owned multiple dogs after all of these decades; all of whom have very successfully been trained to the underground fence. We have used this fence with German Shepherds, Shepherd mixes, a standard poodle, Coton de Tulears, a Bichon Frise, and just recently, an Australian labradoodle. The fence is unparalleled in effectiveness. Our dogs are family. We would not maintain and recommend this product and company if our high expectations were not met! The Browns are quickly responsive and fair in every matter for which we have had to contact them. If you are looking for an ethical, professional, friendly, and local company to explore the option of an underground electric fence, call them.
