I have found on every trip to our CVS pharmacy in Oakland Maryland to be very enjoyable. The pharmacy is very quick and I’ve had all of my major shots delivered there. Both myself and my wife of 48 years. Thank you for allowing me to express my appreciation for the job that you people do. Thanks again.

Called in prescription on Friday, still wasn’t filled until Tuesday. Then they were closed until following Friday. Who runs a pharmacy like that?

They have to "special order" my meds every month and twice they have refused to fill my husband's med when the doctor has either increased the dose or changed the schedule of when to take. One pharmacist even said to me "I don't care what the doctor said". I would love to see how well she can handle a golf ball size kidney stone. My husband had surgery yesterday and cannot get meds until the 6th. When did it become ok for pharmacist and insurance companies to over rule the doctor? The doctor not them should be determining what is best for the patient.We actually attempted to switch to Walgreens but guess what, they were closed and will not reopen till September 6th. I too will be calling CVS corporate office.

This place sucks. We made shingles vaccine appointment. When we got there at appointed time were told they cannot honor appointment or give us the shots. We were told to wait an hour or cancel. We said cancel and walked across to the Walgreens across the street and they said insurance rejected because CVS had already BILLED us for the shots they would not deliver. Then would not immediately back out what they had billed. Forcing us to waste an hour. Go to the Walgreens across the street. They are far more competent and capable than these idiots. CVS does not properly staff the store. It isn't any surprise that the parking lot of Walgreens was 3x as full as CVS.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. My experience is too long to put here in much detail, but be prepared if you choose to deal with CVS. Let’s just say it took 5 phone calls, hours on hold, a smart mouthed person who told me my $210 prepay that didn’t work on the app but has a hold on my bank account, and is a known problem to them, would “probably come out of” her pocket because it wouldn’t release my meds.HOW DARE SHE MAKE HERSELF THE VICTIM. CVS made it MY problem to fix, required I be patient, even though my husband and I have significant health issues, including cancer and heart surgery histories and missed 2 days of meds waiting because of THEIR computer “glitch.”. They basically said, “here just take your meds and we’ll fix it later.” I wasn’t asked for payment but I left a check so I’d have a record. I found it highly insulting the pharmacy person insinuated she would have to pay after I had made MORE THAN every effort to pay. Needless to say, I have had more contact with “corporate” and customer (dis) service than I wanted. I will be seeing the store manager in person and I take issue with this apathetic treatment. I’m not the only one. A lady in Tractor Supply told me she has had terrible service with this CVS herself and worse, her baby. She overheard me on the phone while I was doing Christmas shopping, trying to stay cheerful, while on 30+ minutes on hold. After all this, they MISSED my order for a blood pressure med when they “gave me” the meds and I was required to make a THIRD trip back. Another lady in front of me at the drive through was upset and wondering why HER medications weren’t available when she was told they were. She, like me, was so very sad and frustrated (however, my fever pitch reached a 2 swear word level on the phone, which I deeply regret having said). I’ll be checking for another pharmacy and yet, I think there’s quite a monopoly in the prescription world and Big Pharma knows which size hairs of ours they have ahold of.

All is good when the drive thru is open. But you might as well flip a coin to know when the drive thru is open.Very frustrating.
