We had the waiter select our meat & cheese board, everything was delicious! You can also purchase meat, cheese, bread & some condiments to go, the blueberry jam is a favorite!

We had a lovely dinner here without the kids. The cheeses were all fantastic, and we both loved hearing where they were sourced, etc. The drink menu was excellent and the service was very friendly and helpful. They were a bit slow at times, but only because they were so busy! This is a lovely addition to North Beach and I can't wait to return.

We stopped into this lovely little cheese paradise yesterday and we will absolutely be back. We had great conversations with the wonderful staff and both owners. We asked for a dry white wine with a mineral note and got an exuberant story about the love someone has for Kerner wine - a great choice. We picked a few meats and cheeses and then asked to have another one picked for us - they added a tartufo to compliment everything on the board. Conversations ranged from the community, to restaurants, to great bread, cheese and everything in between. The grilled cheese was amazing (I had high expectations of a cheese shop), the selection of 85 cheeses was fantastic and a lovely wine selection as well. The beach is so very lucky to have Vaughan Cheese.

Whether you’re eating in, or buying cheese from them at the local farmers market- Vaughan Cheese is a MUST if you’re in Calvert County! The quality and presentation of the food is incredible, the servers are so personable and the owners are so friendly and helpful. Two stars feels generous- purely because their bread was warm and butter was good. The rest was ridiculous & left us with a “that place is shady” vibe. There was no description letting you know the actual serving included but based off price you would assume it was enough to feed two people. WRONG. Meat was nothing fancy and the cheese was legit small slices for one person. The fancy adult lunchables at the grocery store for $5 are more satisfying.

Came here for wine and charcuterie. We had a bottle of French red that was delicious. They did not have many reasonably priced bottles. Price for a glass is extremely high. We went with a 5 item charcuterie. We gave a few preferences and let the shop make our picks of cheese and meat. I would recomend making your own picks instead. 2 of our cheeses were a little bland and they burned part of the baquette. Overall the prices are high. The service was good and our waitress was very personable. The bathroom was clean. Street parking.

First time visiting Vaughn Cheese today and it was wonderful! The world we live in today, was forgotten while our visit there today. Megan, the owner was knowledgeable, personable and her hospitality was incredible! The food was absolutely amazing as well. We can’t wait to visit there again.

Stop whatever you’re doing, cancel your dinner plans, and go here tonight. This was most likely the best dining experience of my life. Between the outrageously warm and welcoming staff to the spectacular drinks and food, Vaughan and her staff make dining at her restaurant a core memory. We can not WAIT to return again soon!

Just tried this place for the first time last night and it was phenomenal! Vaughan Cheese is such a welcome and much needed addition to this area. Drinks, food and service were top notch. This is our new happy hour destination for sure!Parking: Parking in the community lot is less than a block away from the establishment.

Heaven on a board. After visiting Vaughan Cheese a few times over the summer at the farmers market, I fell in love! I have been dying to visit since they've opened their new location, and with my MIL in town, I knew it was the perfect time. If you're not quite sure what you want, they are extremely helpful in finding the perfect pairing for you! Thank you for helping create a wonderful memory I will keep of her and I. You all are wonderful and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming.

I might be obsessed. Went for dinner and got a cheese trio (opted for the “women in cheese” board). SO good, I went back a couple days later and bought more of each. The bearded lady bleu cheese is so creamy and delicious. Also got a wheel of the Chesapeake Brie (it’s ooey gooey inside naturally, like it’s a baked Brie) and some of the truffle cheese too. Got the baguette that comes in easy to tear off piece that reheated amazingly. Can’t wait for my next visit!

For lunch I had the Rye ale and the roasted red pepper with MD goat cheese.This was AMAZING. I want to go get the sandwich again for lunch tomorrow.Perfect bunch to sit outside and eat. Not too heavy, but it is still filling.

I usually drop a star on the overall rating if the service was not that great... but... just gotta say that the food was worth "slightly less than observant" service. She was really sweet and nice, but more elusive. Other tables had multiple visits while i waited and a table of 2 that came in a while after i arrived; ordered, ate, paid and we're about to leave before me. The food however... oh, sweetness. Between the presentation, the texture and the flavors! I'm using the byte system for my teeth so it was a bit tender to eat, but so worth every bite! If i only ordered just bread and butter, it would have been enough to satisfy! Warm, crisp on the crust and soft inside... yum. The other table had a cheese adventure, so perhaps I'll try that another time! If you like cheese, I'd go for it, their comments as they were eating were just straight "Mmm"'s! With comments about the textures and the soft and creaminess of some. Visit again... absolutely!

This is easily the best restaurant in the beaches! The owners and staff are all so friendly and make you feel so welcome. They really know their stuff when it comes to food and wine. The wine selection is amazing and has something for everyone. The cheeses are all incredible, and you can build the best charcuterie board here. The rest of the food is great too. This restaurant is casual enough to be a go to spot within the community, but still feels a little elevated for a night out. Overall, a must try in the area.

Outstanding experience for lunch. Ample indoor and outdoor seating in a welcoming atmosphere. Great selection of cheese and meats for the sampler boards and good variety of small plates. Very interesting wine list, with many by-the-glass options from small producers in the U.S. and Europe. We tried a "5 item sampler", with 3 cheeses and 2 meats. Very helpful explanation of the types of cheese offered--so many choices. If they have it, the duck breast prosciutto was a treat. We bought two wedges of cheese to bring home--they have an awesome selection. A nice drive down from Annapolis, with a post-lunch walk on the boardwalk along North Beach. We will be back!

Great visit today! I popped in after a boardwalk run to get a meat and cheese box to go. After just a few questions about things I love and things that are off limits, Tyler put together an excellent selection for me. I've been here around half a dozen times, but I think this was my favorite box so far. It can get a little pricey, but it's one of my favorite "treat yo' self" spots.
