I’m not an everyday coffee drinker but I do like getting coffee from this shop. I would have to say that the Employees are the key to this coffee shop they are nice and friendly. They have good breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. There are outside tables to sit at or go walk around on the boardwalk.

The pastries at " the bakist" in this local Bakery in North Beach, MD are AMAZING. I take my morning walks on the 7 block Boardwalk of North Beach, and wait for the bakery to open so I can get my treats :) Don"t take my word for it, go get some!!

Perfect place for coffee, pastries, muffins, and a light breakfast. Everything I have eaten is good. However, my favorite is the breakfast wrap. The staff is very friendly and nice. If you're visiting North Beach or walking the boardwalk, just drop in, you won't be disappointed.

Visiting from out of town for the weekend, looking for a coffee shop. Found this place and went both mornings of our trip. The coffee was delish and well priced. The sandwiches were very filling and delicious! The cinnamon rolls and cookies were amazing. Can’t wait to visit again just so we can go back to this place.

Great dirty chai latte and avocado toast with pesto tomato, cream cheese and feta. This little place is possibly the coolest little bake shop I've ever been too. Relaxed atmosphere, doesn't take itself too seriously and their merchandise is hilarious. Two outdoor tables, no indoor seating, sustainable packaging, great people. You guys are cool

I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for a party. They were so dry we couldn't eat them. They weren't cheap! They all ended up in the trash. I gave two stars for the service because the girl who rang me up was friendly, but she had her hands all in her hair putting it back up in a hair band. That's not something you want to see around food. The atmosphere was fine.

Cute bakery just off the boardwalk in North Beach, grab a delicious pistachio cupcake or try the B.E.S.T. breakfast sandwich & don’t forget the lavender brown sugar latte ☕️

I like the fact that it is a local coffee shop for me. The employees are nice and patient. I even heard one of the young ladies handle a visitor that was asking ridiculous questions and stayed cool the whole time. The chalk wall of menu options is well done and easy to read. They had soft music (Maroon 5) playing and that gave it a chill atmosphere. I would say check it out to have your own opinion being as though I have not ate a lot of different foods. Also because of the employees shop local and give support.

A few locals told me to give this place a try and I'm so glad that I did. Upon entering I was immediately greeted by a smile and a warm welcome. Breakfast menu was easy to navigate and the display of sweets and pastries made it simple to order. Place is very neat, organized and clean. I ordered a double espresso, sausage egg and cheese on a croissant with a blueberry muffin. They offered to warm my muffin which I hadn't had done before. Everything is full of wonderful flavor and I will absolutely be returning. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Great spot to grab a coffee & take a walk on the boardwalk! Tried their Lavender Latte & Apple Walnut Muffin. The chunks of apples in the muffin made for a delicious bite. Wish there was more of a lavender taste in the latte, but it still tasted great. They have gluten-free options too.

Finally stopped by today because I love supporting local businesses when I can. Ordered a dirty chai latte, the spinach and tomato breakfast sandwich, and a couple of baked goods to take home. Everything was served up quickly and tasted AMAZING! Will definitely be back. The current space is an adorable little shop but can feel a little cramped when several people are waiting for orders. Cannot wait to see the new location when it opens. Will for sure be back!

Super cute place featuring Artisan coffees, fresh bread, limited sandwiches/wraps and various sweets like cookies, scones and more. Their iced lavender latte has just the right amount of sweetness and the raspberry cinnamon roll is DELICIOUS!Be patient! It's a super small place and they're currently training someone. I love this place and frequent often especially for their baked goods. Dashed in just at closing yesterday and bought 2 cupckaes, a slice of carrot cake, snickerdoodle cookie and blueberry muffin for my sisters and I.The cupcakes were super dry as well as the blueberry muffin (which is one of my favs) and had a funny taste like baking powder or something not mixed well (see pics). I'm hoping this was a rare occasion and not new recipes or a new baker! If it's not broke please don't fix it and go bake to your delicious quality baked goods!

Great spot for coffees and breakfast. Loved the lavender brown sugar flavor in my latte, and my husband was a big fan of the breakfast wrap and egg & cheddar sandwich. I liked the quiche lorraine and vegetable quiche, as well as the birthday cookie!Nice collection of tshirts, cards, coffee mugs, stickers and other cute knick knacks of you're looking for a little gift to take home.

I really want to love this place, but for a shop named the Bakist, it’s baked treats are just not good. I’ve ordered a cookie, raspberry roll, chocolate cupcake, and carrot cake all on separate occasions. The cookie and raspberry roll were just okay. I wouldn’t order either again. The cupcake and carrot cake were actually tossed after a few bites. Both had a funny taste to its frosting, and the carrot cake tasted like the ingredients weren’t mixed up. Both were also dry. It was very disappointing for a shop that is so cute.If you do go, try a breakfast sandwich. Those have been consistent.

A wonderful place to grab a coffee and a fast bite. Staff is friendly and fast, food is delicious. Great smoothies and a decent coffee selection. Baked goods and quiche seem to take the lead here, but the hot breakfast (pictured: sausage, egg and cheese croissant) is exceptional for the price (less than $6). Seems to only be an entrance from Bay Ave. Unisex restroom for customers only.

We come to The Bakist quite frequently & love it! The best spot to grab breakfast & coffee and take a stroll by the beach afterwards. I almost always get the Breakfast Club on a croissant (which is heavenly!) but today we branched out- tried the Avocado Toast w/ Pesto & the Breakfast Wrap- both were delicious! Service is excellent, food, baked goods, coffee, vibe- such a great spot! Today was also the most crowded I’ve ever seen it, yet everything came out quick & just as tasty as ever.

Nice small local bakery/sandwhich shop. They had some fantastic looking oversized cookies, eclairs, and other treats. We had the Brownie to die for along with the tuna fish croissant. Both were were very good and hit the spot. The staff was very friendly and efficient.
