A Neighborhood Gem with Delicious Food and Family-Friendly Atmosphere 😀👍We recently revisited one of my favorite neighborhood spots, and it never fails to impress! This restaurant combines freshness, flavor, and family-friendly charm effortlessly.The menu boasts a variety of dishes, but my go-to is the Greek-style salad with chicken kabob. Favorites: Cod Fish Fillets, Cheese Pizza, Hawaiian Hamburger.The ingredients are undoubtedly fresh, and the portion sizes are generous without breaking the bank. Every bite is bursting with flavor and authenticity.What sets this place apart, especially for families, is the inviting atmosphere. My kids love to eat here! The restaurant is clean and welcoming, complete with an aquarium that delights children. The staff are friendly and accommodating, making sure every visit is enjoyable.In summary, this restaurant ticks all the boxes for me. From the delicious food to the family-friendly ambiance and attentive service. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a satisfying meal in a welcoming setting. The place was amazing 2 minutes walk from the private beach. The food was to the point and amazing! 100% recommend the zucchini fries and the crab queso. The helper was very sweet and gave amazing recommendations. Its a small pub/ restaurant with a separate dining area. Its a friendly vibe and very lively. The prices for the dishes are completely worth the taste and the quantity. The seafood was fresh and well cooked.A must try!!

Always a great time. Every menu item is great if you like that food, every special hits home. I worked there years and years ago, so I'm biased, but I know the quality of the ingredients and go there as often as possible.Vegetarian options: There are multiple vegetarian options and a few great vegan options.Dietary restrictions: You can let them know ahead of time and they'll carefully work towards a great, healthy meal.Parking: A small parking lot, but plenty of street parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids LOVE this place.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is level and accessible.

I have been trying to support as many restaurants as much as I can during this pandemic even though I cannot really afford to. So, I'll order a few meals and make it last over a few days. An acquaintance urged me to try Neptune so I did. I have never been so disappointed! I ordered $63 worth of food and tipped $12 which is not bad for delivery. I asked about the dishes in advance and feel I didn't get an accurate account. I was told I would get 7 full wings for $13; not true, it was 7 sections which was 3.5 full wings. Wow! Okay, stuff happens. I wouldn't have been so disappointed if they were not hard and over cooked.Let's move onto the crab and corn chowder which was more like a pudding. It was salty and, yes, over cooked. The corn was chewy and there was no chowder. It was thicker than mashed potatoes!The baked potato was hard and dry. The Cajun catfish nuggets were salty, oily, and, yes, over cooked. The smoked bluefish looked good, but did not taste a good.I am no food expert but I know about well prepared food. I am from New England so I feel that I have experienced my fair share of great seafood and this was not it. Far from it. I'm not sure who has been writing rave reviews but they certainly dropped the ball with me. If I may make a suggestion: Skip Neptune.

Food is pretty good and reasonably priced. Had the Neptune Steak sandwich medium rare. Little bit overcooked but still good. Waitress was very friendly and accomodating to my vegan parents. Brother had the crab pizza and there was a nice sear on the bottom of the crust. Will definitely be coming back next time I visit.

Very disappointed with our meal. Service for take-out was great. The cod dinner was barely edible; the french fries soggy; the broccolini had an off-taste; the tuna sandwich did not taste fresh; the bun was stale. Despite being hungry for dinner, neither of us ate 1/2 the food. Mussels were OK, not as good as what we are used to getting when we eat out; and we live about 5 hours away from the coast. We did finish one order of the mussels.

The lemon berry mascarpone cake was one of the best desserts I've ever had. (and I eat a lot of desserts) also it was huge! Four could share it. Nice neighborhood bar atmosphere, with an enclosed porch for a view of the street along the bay boulevard. We came as a side trip one evening on a trip to DC, and for folks from Illinois, it was just the kind of place we were looking for. The waitress was friendly and helpful, since we wanted to choose something representative of the area. The smoked Gouda smashed potatoes I thought were delicious. The carved wooden sharks were pretty cool, too!

I ordered the chicken parmigiana and wife order shrimp salad.When the dinners arrived shortly after ordering, the shrimp salad was a tower of inviting design.The chicken parmigiana had an excellent flavor and texture.Both meals were perfectly served and well seasoned.The waffle fries were excellent and half of my meal went home.Service was punctual and accurate.This restaurant has been located there for at least 25 years and is truly a gem of place in such a great setting of Calvert County.

Great food and drinks. House made tater tots and crab dip was excellent. Crab cakes were also great but a bit more expensive than I was expecting. Get the jalapeno broccoli slaw as a side.

Our favorite restaurant in the Chesapeake Bay area! Great staff & service, and the most delicious seafood! We loved it so much we came back twice in our week vacation. The chef made the scallop bites into a dinner for me... ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Don't miss this wonderful, unassuming dinner delight... You won't be sorry!

My first visit to this hidden gem along the coast. I would give Neptune's 10 stars if I could. The food and the service were that good.There were three of us dining on Father's Day 2018. We had appetizers and entrees. Crab cake tater tots and zucchini straws. Linguine, seafood biscuit, and crab cake stuffed chicken. Plus a takeout order of sauteed shrimp and scallops with diablo sauce. The food was perfectly prepared and we didn't have to wait long.Our server was friendly, responsive, and knew every detail of the menu from memory. She was able to help us decide what to order and we couldn't have been happier.Next time I'm in Maryland (I live 600 miles away) I will be sure to return to Neptune's.

Awesome! Just stumbled on Neptune's as a random selection when passing through Chesapeake Beach. Don't past by this modest little corner restaurant! The server Tyfany was so welcoming, competent, and her dining suggestions were so On-target. Everything that came out of the kitchen rivals even some of the so called "best restaurants." The chef here really know how to please the diners with enchanting tastes and creative twists on even the most common of dishes. Wish I could give 10 stars for the review, but five stars will have to suffice...

Took 40+ minutes before we got our appetizer. Another 10 before I get my soup and husband got cod. We ordered mussels for our appetizer. Kitchen needs to put out food faster. This was far too slow.

Quaint restaurant with a Greek coastal flare! The cucumber dill shrimp salad sandwich was delicious and made fresh to order. The crab tater tots were mouth watering good! The perfect end to a day of exploring Chesapeake beach, Md!

I was driving around looking for somewhere affordable for dinner after a long day at the water park with the kids and saw this place. They had kids menu with a great selection and I had the tuna, which was wonderful also! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and gave great service. Would definitely come again when in the area next time!

This restaurant is just at the crossing of the Chesapeake and North beach.The meals a of a decent portion and are okay.What I liked is that the staff is open to "you" customizing your order so that your children can enjoy their meal as well.I would have preferred it if the establishment, and especially their bathrooms, where a lot cleaner or simply clean.There are 3 tables avaible for outside seating. Which can be a nice romantic dinner option, with the sunset view of the bay and the boardwalk.

This was the place recommended to me by my host as well as the locals who work in the area . I was not disappointed. The first night i sat in and tried their crab cake dinner . Amazingly delicious. Big hockey match going on , so the bar was busy and loud . Second night i carried out the highly recommended crab chowder . Delicious, but was wishing i also ordered a crab cake ... or two .

I went here with my family today, really liked the classic Maryland seafood house atmosphere. The crab and corn soup was very nice, different and hearty. I had the cod sandwhich and it was hot and well cooked, the bun was really great and so were my waffle fries. Everyone else's meal was good. Prices were roughly as expected and our server was friendly. Based on this visit I can recommend this place.

First time here. We sat at the bar. Will definitely be back again! The people were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We will see what round two has to offer.Update: we came here again today 4/30/23 for brunch. The place was busy. Linin was our waitress. I have never had such horrible service. We had to ask multiple times for things because she wouldn't bring them to the table. From ketchup to water and our second round of drinks. It was very disappointing after the first experience was so good!

We spent the day at North Beach which is only a one-hour drive from Washington, DC. Very easy drive. North Beach has public parking on 5th street, which is free. We then went to Neptune's for lunch. The staff was very friendly. We ordered mussels, crab dip, salad and asparagus. Everything was great and the prices are reasonable. Neptune's is an easy walk on the boardwalk from North Beach.

One of me and my husband’s favorite places to go in the area. We love the rockfish bites, the oysters, the chicken, the salmon burger, the salads, pretty much everything on the menu. I don’t think there’s anything that we haven’t tried. They are very friendly, the drinks are delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic. I love overlooking the small city when we’re sitting at the bar.

Neptune's Seafood Pub is Incredible! Staff is friendly, food was absolutely scrumptious. Anyone who's in town should stop there to enjoy a meal. I had a grilled chicken Mediterranean salad - 4 huge grilled chicken thighs, an explosion of Mediterranean flavors that surpasses any I've had in the past. Take a look at this scrumptiousness - you've got to go!
