It appears that the front-of-house positions are predominantly filled by women, raising concerns of gender bias. While the quality of the food remains commendable, the service is lacking, with management seemingly absent. Additionally, the establishment's predominantly white demographic, coupled with a presence of bikers, may deter a diverse cultural atmosphere. My experience included being subjected to stares, feeling out of place in a small-town setting. While rumors of issues with the LGBTQ community exist, my personal encounter did not involve overt judgment or discriminationThe response was not necessary i fid not plan on coming back to an establishment that is owner by a racist rancid individuals whom do not respect all equally

My first visit was really impressed. Went for lunch with co-workers. So it was pretty quiet. Food was delicious. Burgers were huge. Hoping to return over weekend to check out again.Parking: Lots of parking. Gravel so watch the stiletto heels.Wheelchair accessibility: Did not see any steps. Easy to wheel in. Parking lot is hard packed gravel.

Had a great time.We went to Johnny's on a Friday night.Dinner was good.But the music was great . We'll be finding ourselves back over this way for sure.Had a super good time .Everyone there was very friendly .Come and check them out. You won't regret the visit.

So great to see a $14 burger again, and a good one at that. My friend got the Philly cheese steak, looked like a generous portion of steak, I'd like to try that next.

What an experience, what a restaurant! These great people helped by sponsoring a poker run to help a family with a very brave young man named Dawson fighting cancer. It was a great starting point for a beautiful day of motorcycle riding from Vienna through the back roads of blackwater wildlife refuge to Taylor Island to visit other great establishments to receive a card. We were fortunate to meet a lot of great and caring people who were in it for the same reason "Dawson"! God bless everyone who organized this event and God bless all who participated and especially God bless Dawson in his battles! Like the wrist band said "Do it for Dawson" I'm ready to do it again!🙏🛵🏍️

Lots of fun to be had!!!!. One of Hurlock Maryland's hidden treasures!!!. Pool tables are offered, and the Fresh drinks and food are exceptional. Not only is the server charming and funny, but she's also fantastic at what she does...such as....suggesting many wonderful ways to tempt your taste buds. I'd give 3.5 stars, not all bad. Our salads were great, soups were good, however we both got fried oysters and were disappointed. They looked great when served but tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a while. Believe me, I like oysters but truly not as good as I thought they would be. I thought they had too much breading too. I'll be going back sometime...just a little disappointed this time around.

Locals Hot Spot. Johnny's Tavern doesn't really have any competition. They were not that busy for the 1 hour wait to get pizza to go. Pizza was good. Fun place with Pool Tables. Large bar area I'm sure gets packed. Dining area off to the side is great for family and group dining. Give em a try. Just say'n, for food to go, best put your order in ahead of time to avoid the lengthy wait.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome with kids friendly dining area.

Disappointed to hear about how staff were treated for speaking out about complaints levied against members of the lgbt community that had visited this location. Any tavern should be an open and welcoming establishment to all patrons. It is obvious this establishment only wants to cater to a specific type of customer and foster an environment of hate.I hope my review and any others that follow serve as a warning to the lgbt community to avoid this place, as they obviously wish. That way this location can slowly fade out of existence due to an ever shrinking and increasingly irrelevant bigoted clientele that will slowly die off from old age clutching their pearls to their chest and complaining about the presentation and beliefs of others while they sink into whatever fictional hell they have collectively dreamed up for themselves.

It's the great locals place!Wait staff are wonderful. Always have bar fare, but also specials-- my favorite was fried fish . Fresh perch, fried lightly, NO bones! Don't know how...kudos to the prep person.I am told this is the place to get the best hamburger. I am not a red meat fan, but I have seen them. They are LARGE...and well presented .Large I say.Brian works hard to make this a little local gem. I don't care that the rips in the booth seats are taped together! That, and the goose decoys on the ceiling, are all part of the charm .

The atmosphere, service and food were amazing. I haven't been to Johnny's for about 40 years. My band, Double Nickels, will be playing there in March and I wanted to check out the food. The BEST prime rib I've ever had. I've seen negative reviews regarding service.....we were checked on 9 times. That's great service in my opinion.

Excellent experience the first time we were there. Very lively atmosphere, huge bar area, pool tables and different types of seating. Food took a bit to arrive, but it was a Friday evening, so par for the course. The wings were awesome, some of the best we've had in a while. My wife ordered the chicken tenders, which were solid. I ordered the prime rib (Friday nights only), and though it was a solid cut, it was a touch on the salty side (can be remedied by asking for less salt). We will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Good food. We went for the prime rib but it isn't on the menu because of Biden's economic plan. Maybe 2024. I had ribs and shrimp and enjoyed it. Drink prices were very reasonable. Loud atmosphere, but everyone seemed to know each other. Best place in the Cambridge area I've been too yet! Highly recommended. I mean, um, yeah, don't go there. Yeah, stay away. This is mine.

Great food with healthy portions. Friendly staff. Live music every Friday night and a DJ on Saturdays. Place is alot larger than it looks on the outside. Large parking lot. No covid precautions here. Enter at own risk! It was a fun night out!Parking: Biggest lot ever, right next to tavern. Semis park there.

Was here for a fundraiser. The food and service here even though it was packed to capacity was really great. Considerate size of the crowd, it was great. The owner was really down to earth and seems like a genuinely good person. I'll come back to try prime rib night!

We liked to froze to death. It was so cold in the dining area that the cheese on the broccoli was hard. Brought it home and reheated it. My dinner was good. I had the steak sandwich. Our friends had fried shrimp, it was good. I will go back, just when it is warmer out or sit in the other room.

I used to work here as a bartender over 8 years ago. Recently stopped in and was pleasantly surprised. New owners have redone the menu. Food is now excellent ( best old bay wings we've ever had and we've eaten everywhere) tip: ask for extra crispy. Shrimp was also amazing. Quick service even though they are busy! I'd say the biggest change is the clientele. This used to be a 35 and under club witb dj booth. New owners have done away with that and are now doing live music and catering to the local community as a whole as a family establishment. At 930 on a Friday there were a family with kids eating and listening to music, the 50 plus crowd and a few people in their 30s. It's definitely gotten away from being a bar known for fights and do as you please, and is now a great family pub with great Food and live music! For me it was a pleasant surprise! We will def be back to eat when in the area!

I was there on 11/7 and my chili was lukewarm and the crab pretzel was hard and the crab dip very runny. I hardly ate any of the food and was not even asked if all was OK. Been busy this week and let ownership know today about experience (along with info to find transaction), looks like I'm not getting my money back. Poor response from a place I used to like.
