My favorite "Dollar" store. Well stocked. Lots of variety. Friendly staff. Clean. Well organized. A good place to go when you need something inexpensive and/or quick. I recommend this store to others.

At least 3 employees saw me standing at the county to be checked out. I wanted an item that was behind lock and key. After a few minutes I just decided to use the tackily placed self checkout. Now here comes an employee, as my receipt is printing, “thank you” are you serious how lazy can you be.Never again.

After I had a fine conversation with the woman working there about the benefits of turmeric, I found they had none. So 10 feet from the door I took some pics of the full moon and looked for a place that did and texted a friend. Loitering apparently, but not told by the employees they called the police who after 15 minutes told me have a great night, but they had a robbery 2 years ago. SO DID I IN MY OWN HOME WITH MY FAMILY WHERE I FOUGHT UNARMED AGAINST TWO MEN THAT WERE ARMED AND WAS FLOWN TO SHOCK TRAUMA ! Here's an IDEA STOP LIVING IN CONSTANT FEAR AND COMMICATE WITH PEOPLE. I WOULD BE THE FIRST PERSON TO FIGHT SOMEONE WITH BAD INTENTIONS UNARMED IF I HAD TO. NOT ANYMORE FOR THESE EMPLOYEES. HERES SOME ADVICE GET OVER IT!!

Always clean with great service.The shelves are stocked,except for ammonia,spray discinfectant,and alcohol. They have cold and shelf food,good prices. I do almost all my shopping there.l, also clothing, bathroom decor.

The store is nice and clean. The cashiers are always pleasant and patient. But the manger “mike” makes a habit of removing certain products that would be priced at or near $0 with certain coupons. His customer service skills are subpar at best. The company needs to rotate him to a Baltimore city location.

All the positive posts are true . Great place to shop . I go here once a week if not more . The people that work here seem to even like their jobs . Dollar General you need more stores like this one.

Stopped in yesterday Sept 10. This place keeps getting worse all the time. The shelves are never stocked with merchandise. I went for garlic toast. They only had 2 boxes? Deodorant? Only 2 on the shelves. One register open? A sign said ring the bell? I think they need to get some new management soon.

I usually don't shop at this type store. But read an article stating what to buy here, so I thought I'd ck it out. Greeting cards are definitely a good buy. $1 for bleach; adhesive hooks $1; Hook & Loop $1; etc.You can find some good buys. Good Luck

Gotta say I love Dollar General. Great prices, nice selection and helpful staff. If you're a deal hunter or someone that enjoys saving money and don't mind big box store shopping, I'd suggest giving this location a visit.

Very nice, friendly, well stocked with name brand items. Just gotta pay attention to the expiration date on some food and beverage items. But....I will say that even in the biggest grocery stores it's happened where I've bought something expired or about to expire. No store is perfect.

The employees at this location are very friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad encounter with one of their staff. The issue I have is with their stocking of product, particularly the Dollar General exclusive items. More often than not they are without particular products once they have been completely purchased for one month, and sometimes longer. A perfect example of this is the Nature's Recipy (DG exclusive) dog food. Once the dog food runs out, they won't re-order/re-stock it for a very long time. I've seen them without product for 5 weeks before. Because of this I've quit relaying on Dollar General, and I've quit using their exclusive products. I am significantly less likely to shop at this location than any other, even though this one is only 3 miles away from my home. I've learned it is a waist of my time. 9/10 times they won't have what I'm looking for in stock and it will remain that way for a ridiculously long time. None of the other three DG in this area (within 10 miles) have issues keeping or ordering stock and shelving it in a timely manner, but this one totally fails in this reguard.

Always friendly staff that work here. Hopefully Dollar General appriciates the great employees they have at this location. These days people in retail work long hours and holidays so customers hope the companies that benefit from this reward employees with a holiday bonus.

I love this store! The manager was out for some time for medical reasons and the whole store went to s***... The ONLY reason we came back because he returned ... our family are regulars here 3x a week minimum... the manager always goes above and beyond for us .... i’ve never met someone so proud to help his customers , DG found a keeper with him! He should be a regional manager so he can coach other managers to do the same ! He is the best of the best ...💙 The Bee Family

They had hardly any of the items on the shelves and had a sales paper out from last week. When we get to the register they charged me full price for coke that the paper they had out advertised 3 for 9 dollars. They have really gone down hill. It used to be a great store. Not any more. I say this regretfully. Prices have increased. There was hardly any product on the shelves and had the wrong ad for customers on the ad display. This is the usual lately I am sorry to say

The manager here is always so friendly. It is very refreshing to walk into a store and be greeted kindly EVERYTIME. Keep up the award winning attitude! There is nothing like it anywhere around!

I purchased some last minute Easter candy and pokemon cards from Dollar General. Overall, my visit was nice; the store seemed clean, and I was in and out in minutes.

The amount of trash outside this store makes it embaressing to shop here. It's clearly never been picked up and has since blown in the wind and washed into all the storm water retention areas. This is the type of thing we should be holding the corporate business and local management accountable for this level of negligence.

Love this store! But this location is very busy and always messy isles and not but half the shelves worth of stuff on them. Seems like they don't have enough employees or can't pay enough employees daily to get the store up to par.

Dollar General is where you go for everything...but the experience has become more civilized...whether we like it or not. I was surprised that the inventory was almost identical to the Family Dollar across the street...and neither of them had what I was looking for. I ended up on the wild side at Dollar City in Lanham! Found it!

Convenient way to get basics without having to deal with a trip to Wal-Mart... Our Dollar General even has almond milk. Great place to get school and project supplies, party supplies, and they blow up balloons. Staffing can be hit or miss.

Always get my greeting cards from Dollar General. Can't beat the two for a dollar price. They have a decent selection, and I buy a lot for the many birthdays that I have to cover. You can also pick up other deals on-the-fly when heading to the counter.

No line went straight to the counter to ask a question and had more help then expected. She helped find what was the best container for my money and the exact containers that matched the sale add without eveni haveig to wait a min or even ask she told me they were on sale.
