I called last fall and ask them if their tire machine touches the wheels because I didn’t want them scratched. When I was told it doesn’t I went up and had them put my winter tires on. No problems at all. However, this spring I went back to have my summer tires put on. After waiting for a while the guy in the truck garage was working on a pickup when he abruptly threw a fit. I realized that someone must have told him to stop what he was doing and work on my car. Still watching him he stomps to my car and flys to the garage door. I then start watching him from the side door (he doesn’t see me) and he’s still throwing a fit jerking stuff around and throwing my wheels on the machine. I never said a word but thought to myself that I’ll never come back to this place again. I get home and look things over because of the way he acted and treated my car. Sure enough there is a deep scratch on one of my wheels. These wheels are $1000 apiece. Factory Jaguar wheels. The whole reason I went to them in the first place was because I thought these people cared. Obviously not. I’m honestly heartbroken and upset about this. I paid a lot of money for my car and this guy was only concerned about himself. I can understand being upset on the job but he certainly didn’t have to take it out on my car wheels. Because of this guy I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Got two cars inspected on a next-day basis and for $99.50/each compared to Diehl Ford asking at least twice that price and 2 week delay! Very friendly, clean shop and waiting room. Very convenient to I68. They don’t open until 9am!

Got involved in an accident on my way to work that resulted in my car ending in a ditch…. Threw my entire alignment off the vehicle. I was barely able to drive it the rest of the way (6 minutes)…. I went to 3 different Auto repair shops within the frostburg area who were all either too busy or short staffed to take me in on such short notice.(This is at approximately 9 am) Knieriem tires was how ever very accommodating to my needs and very welcoming. The staff was very helpful. Would 10/10 recommend.

My favorite shop in the area!! They will always be transparent with you and honest. I’ve never had a negative experience since my first car in 2013. I bought my newest car at a locally popular dealer. And even for oil changes (said dealer) still managed to mess that up (ended up going to oil works in la vale after that). Each time I had something major done I went to the dealer I got my car from, needless to say I ended up back here to have the mess fixed. WHICH I WILL ALWAYS APPRECIATE YOU FOR! I wont make the same mistake again! Just go straight to here. Save your time and money. These folks know what they are doing!

Once again, I got the best, friendliest, fastest service possible at Knieriem Tires in Frostburg. I can’t say enough good things about them. Every time I go there, they treat me like a friend of the family even though I’m not a born-and-raised local. And, I leave having spent less than I expected. This time, I had a slow leak turning into a fast leak and I got there just as the guys were going to lunch. I told them, no problem at all. That my client and I were happy to hang out and watch TV until they got back. But, one of them stayed back and took care of us right away. It’s been a similar experience every time I’ve gone and I’m grateful to have them nearby. I give them an 11 out of 10!Cheers!

We needed four tires for our Dodge Journey, they ordered them because they were an unusual size and rating, and gave us an appointment. We arrived, the tires were in and they were ready on time, got the work done. The alignment was a savings because only the front needed aligned. Free tire rotation for the life of the tires too. Great service, friendly staff, coffee, TV, etc. In the waiting area. The new tires are great.

Did a great job on a Same Day 4-Wheel alignment. Our Van has independent rear suspension that was killing tires (inside edge) due to the weight we carry. While our alignment was within spec, they took time to adjust everything to better suite our needs. Even though it was closing time when they finished, they never rushed it. -Thanks you!

Ended up at this place in the middle of a long road trip when our tire pressure sensor came on and we pulled off of the first available exit.Exiting the highway, the only visible business (actually a billboard) at that exit was for a tire shop!They got us taken care of in just a half an hour and we were back on the road in time for our meeting.Great folks!

Absolutely the best in the area! I discovered Knieriem Tires after a competing tire shop manager told me he couldn't mount my tires without "destroying" my wheels. At least he was honest and referred me to Knieriem, telling me that they were the only shop around that could safely do the job. Knieriem uses state-of-the-art Corghi touchless tire machines (Google it to see videos) for a completely professional scratch-free mounting of tires on your expensive custom wheels. Heck, even if your wheels aren't expensive, why would you want them damaged with clunky tire changers and heavy handed technicians. But it's not just about the equipment, it's the people that matter most. This is a family owned business that cares about the quality of the work that they do! And, if you need an alignment on a lowered car, they have a Hunter ground level pit rack that the lowest of low-riders can roll onto.

Super friendly staff and wonderful service!! I had to make an unexpected trip out of town and had a donut on my car. They got me in THAT day and got everything fixed and in good order within 45 minutes. I was so impressed with their service and how they treated me like family that I refuse to go anywhere else now. Great service! 1st time going there for a tire change. We got there at 5pm & hadn't made an appointment & they still got us in before they closed at 6 plus we had our dog with us so we had her on a leash while they took our vehicle into the shop & they let her come in & sit in the waiting room with us since it was chilly outside ❤️🐶

Great tire-buying experience with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. They were also extremely helpful in pursuing a warranty claim after a set of BF Goodrich tires started to dry-rot with less than 10,000 miles on them (the tires weren't purchased from Knieriem Tires, they came with my Toyota Tundra which was purchased new in 2012).

I've always had positive experiences. Jamie, daughter and front person who coordinates appointments, liaisons with customers is very good with communicating and explaining service- related information. I've always dealt with the mechanic Tony, who is an expert on Suburus and he not only provides excellent service, but will offer the least costly "fix" if possible. All of the mechanics are very good and I find it wonderful that the patriarch of the company is always mindful of supervision. I will always take my suburu to Kneirium because I am confident of the excellent service provided.

I have bought 4 sets of tires here! My most recent purchase was 4 Perrelli All-Season for my 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium All Wheel Drive! The ride, quietness of the ride is phenomenal better yet they have a 70,000 mi. Warranty! Buy them here, Free Rotation every 5,000 miles

I called and made an appointment for an oil change at 2 pm, explaining to the guy making the appointment that my son had to be to work a little after 3 in Cumberland. He told me no problem, he'd get it down so they could get him right in and he should be done by 2:30. When my son arrived at 15 till 2, the guys said they hadn't had lunch yet, so instead of one of them honoring the appointment time and changing the oil, at 25 after 2 he left. I called and the lady said we re short handed today. That is unprofessional to make an appointment and then go to lunch before taking care of your customer. I will never deal with this business again!!!! If I could give it a minus score I would!

Had an alignment done on my 1966 ranchero twice and neither time did they say anything about and bushing being bad, and tie rod adjusters not tightened, I've now ruined a new set of tires, so now that I had to buy 2 more new tires and replaced the bushing I can go someplace else to have it aligned the correct way

Friendly service and quick with getting the job done! Pretty sure these guys are the first ones in the area to start stocking winter tread, and carries them for the entire season. And it's not chincey treads, either, like you might find locally.
