I live less than 1/4 mile from this store and I have always had a pleasant experience. MOST employees are great - friendly, outgoing and helpful, just as people working with the public should be. I am at this store at least 4 or 5 times a week. As of Monday (4/26/2021), this location went from being open 24/7 to closing at 10 pm and opening at 5 am. A little disappointing the first night when I pulled in at 10:45 and realized the drastic change in hours, but understandable nonetheless. BUT when it's only the 4th night going from never closing to closing at 10 pm you shouldn't have employees taking advantage of their new found early nights and locking the doors at 9:50. I have a sick kid and was beyond livid when I finally had the opportunity to run out to grab him ginger ale and Gatorade only to be met with lights out, both entrances locked and a giddy employee smiling at me and literally twirling a lanyard of keys saying, "Sorry, Sweetie. We're closed." Totally unacceptable and completely changed my entire opinion about this location.I got in my car, drove across to Dollar General, stood in a line 3 people deep to buy my sick kid's drinks and still made it home before the Farm Store should have been closed. I rarely write reviews but this whole experience has me so upset.Prior to this evening, I would have rated this place 5/5 and it may seem a little unfair or unreasonable to drop it to a 1/5 but I'm a single mom doing the best I can for my kid and tonight's experience has completely turned me off of Royal Farms. From now on I will drive out of my way to get gas, snacks, coffee, lottery, cigarettes and whatever else to avoid Royal Farm Stores, sick kid or not!!

Usually a good stuff but the young lady behind the chicken needs an attitude adjustment, NO Chicken and with a crazy look on her face not caring says she has to much to do more important than chicken at a place that prouds it's self of chicken 🤷🏾‍♂️

No cigerets. Now I have to drive 10 min to the wawa. Very disappointed that they can't keep there shelf full. Its bin like this for about 2 weeks now. The morning staff is great. The company's fault not the staffs fault. I will miss talking to them in the morning.
