First of all, the service was wonderful. It is a small, order at the counter and the food will be brought to your table restaurant. The staff was friendly and inviting. It appears to be a family run restaurant. We enjoyed our breakfast very much. The prices were very reasonable. The dining area could use some improvements but a few minor touches could do the trick. The baked goods were exceptionally delightful. The cookies were massive and delicious. I hope to go back for more.Wheelchair accessibility: No sign of wheelchair accessibility. There was no ramp to get up the steps at the front of the restaurant. If there is a wheelchair accessible entrance, I did not see it.

My husband and I were traveling from Baltimore to Philly and needed somewhere to stop for breakfast. We were looking for a restaurant that was not a chain, and we were not disappointed! We both got breakfast sandwiches. The eggs were cooked well and the portions were great. The staff was very friendly, and we got a brownie to go. Everything in the case looked delicious. Highly recommend.

Come in to Kelly s Kitchen and Bakery for some home cooked breakfast 🥞🍳 or take it to go ! This is our third time ordering out and the food is make fresh ! Wonderful service on the phone and in person, very pleasant. You get a decent portion size of your order and all for prices you can't beat . Today, we ordered; Ham , egg , cheese on toast, and Egg Platter with home fries. Delicious 😋. Under $ 20.00 .We love Kelly s Kitchen !

I was early for an appointment and stopped in to waste some time. My time was not wasted at all. I was greeted by an old work colleague, who I was so glad to see again. I was treated so well, and I can't wait to come back again soon!!!I got the Greek breakfast burrito, it was amazing. I had to try a chocolate chip cookie and it was the best I have ever had.

This place was hard to find. Hours need to be adjusted as they close at 3pm. However the food is well worth the trip.Portions are super generous. Food is amazing! Everyone is super nice. A very cozy little place. I plan to visit againMy cousin loves Kelly's and always hires them for catering events. They make cute cakes. Definitely glad I made the trip

Stopped in for breakfast yesterday and had a very pleasant experience. Staff was very courteous and accommodating. Food tasted good and man the portion size was quite generous! I got the Kelly’s breakfast and it was well worth the price.

Kelly’s is a monthly ritual for meals and weekly for desserts prepared by her wonderful baker Mom!!! Great pumpkin cheesecake this week! BTW. Once you have eaten here you have now found your “Go To” for comfort food with strong family feels. The red potatoes were fabulous this week try for yourself. Thanks Kelly see you on Tuesday 😋

i am an instacart shopper, i got an order to shop for this place, the customer (staff at kelly’s kitchen) and she was one of the most respectful and polite customers i’ve had, and that was even before i arrived to drop it off. When i got there, i was greeted with a lovely scenic, little bakery diner with lots of people eating and having a good time. I dropped off the order to my customer and she was very polite and grateful, i then saw how busy the kitchen was and how good the food smelled and wondered how she managed to do everything at once while still making food that smelled that good. Ive worked in food service for years and i was impressed. Finally, she offered me bakery items for free, so i asked for a cookie, she sent me on my way with 2 delicious cookies, i would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the essex/ bowleys quarters area

My husband and I have always loved Kelly’s Kitchen, primarily their breakfast foods! But today my mother in law picked up our daughters cake for her first birthday. It was perfect!! They put blueberries in it (which is my daughters favorite) and overall just did an amazing job!! The cake was moist and the frosting was delicious. We will absolutely be going to Kelly’s first from now on, and not just for their breakfast anymore ❤️

My niece told us about Kelly's kitchen. Kelly's kitchen is a small, quaint little restaurant in Middleriver. The food is delicious. I got a steak sub with everything on it. It was served with a kosher pickle and chips. My daughter got a Belgium waffle with apple topping. Kelly gives you a generous serving and the food is delicious!The restaurant is small and dark but I like the "comfy" feeling to it. There was a little fireplace in the corner. One drawback is its not handicapped assessible. There's several steps to get into the restaurant which will make it difficult for someone who is disabled. My daughter is disabled so thats something I know is important. We go when she's having a good day so we manage and it won't stop us from going.It cost us $20. and that included our food, a soda and dessert (scones).Enjoy! You won't be sorry.Features: Masks

Bakery is bare minimum. To be called a bakery. It's more of a nook place. A mom and pop breakfast lunch place rather then bakery. Food portions are big. The taste not so much. The dining room was dark and dingy. Needs a solid cleaning. Not so much sticky floors but more of sorry walls. Gave it a 3 not a 2, because the girl there behind counter very very plesant. But over all where it is and area it serves very below standard.

Stop in for breakfast and got Kelly’s Breakfast. Waffle, eggs, 2 meats and home fries. It was a lot of food for very little price. The service was fast and friendly and the food was good. I will return and try some other items. The bakery items in the case looked awesome.

My grandparents and I had lunch there yesterday and the food was great. We ordered shrimp, Italian cold cut and quesadillas and there were no complaints. Everything tasted great. They give you a lot of food and the prices are good. The people working there are also really friendly. We look forward to coming back soon.

I'm late on this review, but it still counts! I ordered 1 dozen gluten free muffins for a last minute get together, party of 6. The host is gluten free. I left it up to them for the variety. They did not dissapoint! The muffins were great, a variety of chocolate, blueberry, and strawberry. I was actually amazed at the price when I saw them. More amazed at how good the muffins were. A+, you can't go wrong here!

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!I moved to Maryland from Georgia and Kelly's is the first small restaurant my (now) husband took me to and I fell in love. Super cute family owned business and they always give great food for prices you just cannot beat! They know almost everyone who comes in (since almost everyone is a regular). They are always a bit busy which just shows how to community loves them. HIGHLY recommend!

This is one place I cannot say enough GOOD things about!! We come here about once a week and never receive poor service or bad food. It's very small inside but the place is nicely decorated, the food is fantastic, the PRICES are great and the service is spectacular. We always walk in the door feeling welcome and they make my kid feel special too, which is rare these days. They will chat with her and make her smile. We all love Kelly's! And breakfast is all day!

I asked Google for a very good fairly inexpensive place nearby to eat and boom Kelly's Kitchen and Bakery pops up. Now on my first visit I just went to check the place out and the restaurant appeared to be just opening when I walked in. My eyes were immediately fixed on the glass cases directly in front of me. The cases filled with all kinds of delicious looking home made patries, cakes and cookies and after I finished licking my lips I stood up and was greeted with the most welcoming smiles. I said " It's my first time here and I just came to check it out." I got some history about the place and was told that Miss Kelly's Mother and Father started this fine establishment and from time to time they still come in and rattle some pots and cake pans. So the next time I came in I was definitely prepared to place a knife and fork into something. There were so many items on the menu that I wanted to try so I asked what's good what should I try and one of the regulars stated "That you really can't go wrong with anything that you order but my favorite is Kelly's Breakfast platter with blueberry pancakes. That's what I ordered and it came with 2 eggs, 2 huge blueberry pancakes, wonderfully fresh and seasoned fried potatoes and onions but wait that's not it and 2 sides of meat and I had the scrapple and several thick slices of bacon. I also ordered 1 chocolate chipped huge cookie filled with tons of chips and onedelicately made peanut butter blondie suggested by Miss Kelly herself and her personal favorite might I add and lastly a piece of chocolate cake. Now, how and where do I start? Well let's start with the platter that was outstanding the pancakes were light and fluffy filled with fresh blueberries, the home fries just like my Momma's and that's saying a whole lot. The cake was moist and delicious. So now, I've said all of this to say come on out and taste the love added to the food and feel the warmth within this wonderful dining establishment but make sure you get there as quickly as you can if you're dining in because "Kelly's Kitchen and Bakery" is quant in size and seats disappear rather quickly but I can assure you if you're just a little patient it will definitely be worth your wait and your service will always be with a smile. First and probably our last visit here. As we all know first impressions are everything when coming to a spot for the first time. When we got here today all the empty tables had dirty plates sitting on them. Since it was oyur first time here we didn't know the deal of how we had to order. So now we know you have to place the order up at the counter. Some of the menus we had were dirty and flimsy, like they were in need of new ones. However, the prices were reasonable for the amount of food. We asked for Splenda packets for coffee and they gave us the last one available, thinking one should be enough. The Bacon which we asked to be extra crispy came out chewy. And overall our experience could have been better. But we decided to also take some of their Fresh baked cookies home with us and they were nice and soft and delicious! We got One chocolate chip, One peanut butter, and a S'mores cookies . If we do decide to return we'll probably just stick with the bakery side here on out.
