On the evening of October 28, 2023 at approximately 9:50 PM, I arrived at your store just before closing time. I observed an employee, a young lady, engaged in a phone conversation outside the store. She appeared to be upset and was using strong language. As I approached the entrance, the employee locked the door and ignored my attempts to get her attention, despite my timely arrival before the store’s posted closing time. This left me with the impression of being disregarded as a customer.I would appreciate it if you could investigate this incident and provide feedback or clarification. I believe that clear communication and professionalism are essential in providing good customer service. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Ok iam going to put this out there this store been getting close down by the Direction manager not bye the store manager so here what I have to say get the direction manager out of there of close this store down for good so yes the direction manager tell the store manager to close the store down store manager going to do what they told to do by there boos so here what I think if you going to close the store down close it down for good if not stop close it down n if you need help that bad to Stock at this store then Hire someone to stock over night and This store would run way better if not then close it down for good so here the up dat got a email Today saying harassing them because I files Complaint so if you file any complaint on this store they will say you are harassing them so maybe we all need together and protest on this store

Closed every other day for stocking but, when it is open there is nothing stocked! Carts are full in the isles! Floors are dirty look like they haven’t been mopped since the remodel. It’s sad! Do better!

I wish I could give it 0 stars.Sadie, has the most disgusting attitude. She should not work with people, at all . I witnessed her being extremely rude to an elderly black woman, for asking where an item is located. The lady asked her where the sugar free was Located. She began yelling and taunting the old lady. Also when she checked the woman out before she grabbed her money, she precedes to put gloves on. I asked her why she didn’t put her gloves when checking the previous customers out. She says “she’s disgusting, she just touched her mouth before touching the money”. Then, when giving the lady her change she throws the money on the counter”. Again, I asked her why she is being so rude, she then tells me gets out of her store. Then pushes the door on me, forcefully pushing me out the store. I am extremely disturbed on the type of people they hired to work at this establishment. I will be contacting corporate regarding this issue.

This store has been going downhill for awhile. It used to be a nice store. Several times when I stop by, there is a sign on the door saying closed for stocking. This happened twice within the same week.

This store is the worst, I try not to go to this one I literally live up the street from this store and I will never go to this location again they are always closed and when they are open it looks so junky inside and the shelves are empty most of the time it’s a lot of stuff they don’t even have I recommend going to the new dollar general right off of stemmerun if you can.

This store absolutely sucks anymore. I come here all the time but lately they’re closed more then they are open. Online says opens at 8, I get here at 8:20 no sign on the door stating closed but the door is locked. Ridiculous

When I first moved to the area, the store was well organized and the shelves were always stocked. They then remodeled the location, moving where the check outs were, and it went downhill from there. Now, everytime I go to this location, the floor is like a mine field as there are stocking carts left in aisles, boxes of product just sitting on the floor, absolutely no organization for things on the shelves. Someone is going to end up getting hurt because they have tripped over something carelessly left on the floor or in the middle of the aisle. Their refrigerators have been broken for months with signs saying broken taped to the glass doors, yet cold food is still stored in them. This location needs help. ***edit: now it also seems like every time I try to go to the store, it's closed. Just went today to grab a few staple items needed, and when we get there, there is a sign saying temporarily closed, which isn't surprising because most of the time we try to go there is a sign on the door saying the store has closed early for stocking: this store is pathetic

This place is a fire hazard. Stock is piled in the isle, merchandise is thrown all over the place or broken. Staff to lazy to help customers. Fire Marshal should shut this place down.

This store is terrible. It is old, outdated and small. I can't say much about the staff since I did not have much interaction with them. I can say the cashier I had did not seem to like the fact that I used paper coupons. After she rang everything up I gave her my coupons. Before I could put in my phone # for the digital coupons the computer froze. After several minutes she said that had never happened before and it must have been all of coupons. She wasn't nasty when she said it but she wasn't joking either.

This location is very unorganized and really cluttered. It seems as though the store may be short handed as far as help goes. The employees that do work here are pleasant and seem helpful from what I witnessed. Nice selection of items from food to medicine and socks to paper goods. Never a long wait in line when I've shopped and plenty of parking.

It was a normal Dollar General. I found the oxy clean that I was looking for. Also bought a Birthday card and some candy.The cards needed organizing, but it was a nice store

Love it here! Ever since I first moved to middle river 5 years ago I've been going here constantly! Only issue is, the place is a little run down looking but the workers are nice and the products inside are good.

The cashier was rude. He shoved tons of heavy items in one bag and when I left it broke spraying juicy all over me and my children. When I went to get new bottle of juice and bags, he was mad , I came to show him what happened. I don't want to ever return. I only went there because I was in a rush and was closet place.

I love this store! Their prices are fair for a small chain store. You can usually find one right around the corner. From a soda to clothes and everything in between you can usually find in this store! Appreciate this store in the times we face! Stay healthy stay safe!

Felt sorry for the 1 employee working. Yes 1 & she was doing it all. From cashier to unloading the truck. So of course they didn't have any sale items. Well atleast on the shelves. The order was in the warehouse with noone to put it out. Wow was it a mess. I thought some people needed jobs? Why was it luke a bomb went off & no employees?

I always enjoy shopping here; the employees are always friendly, helpful and expedient. It occasionally seems a bit disorganized in some areas, but with the amount of products they have to offer combined with the sales, deals and coupons they offer, I don't mind it at all!

Store is so messy and dirty. Also when I tried to open up my account to get my list and look at the sales digitally, there was no internet. Then when I got to the register, there was a sale on men's Hanes underwear, boxer briefs, 2 packages for $12. When the girl rang them up, they came up at regular price. I questioned her about it, and she said to me, I know nothing about it. I said, ok, I will walk over and take the peg that is there that is stuck on the rack and bring it over to you. I took my cane from the cart and I walked over and took the tag off and brought it over to her so she could see what it said. She proceeded to say, oh, I asked, ok, are you going to do the sale price because it says it's good till the 22nd of this month. She said to me, oh no, it was so crowded in there. I didn't want to take up any more time, and she didn't seem like she was interested in helping me, so I just paid for my items and I left the store. I'm sitting in the parking lot now making this message for a someone to see. Really considering not coming back to this store ever again, I have always used it as a place to shop for the last 6 years of I've lived in this area, I think I will find another dollar general because this one is just a mess, especially with the people that work there.

This is store is close but I'm done going there one of the cashiers had stolen money from me and we had asked the manager to pull the. Tapes he refused so being a kind person I let it go maybe she need the $20 more then I did so I return to the store after this incident. Because it close and I'm pregnant and I walk and I get followed around the store like some kinda theif I was looking for the movies because the store never has anything in the same spot I get up to the register to check out with my husband and the lady yell at me because I didn't have a id for a movie yet I buy movie from there without I'd and I'm paying with a debt card being hormonal I start to teary up and she mummbles rude comments direct towards me to another customers my husband told her to go f herself there no need to be rude and she told us we not allowed in the store neither one of us will be going back regardless

A lot of things dont have a price ! So you don't knowbif its 5.00$ or 10.00$ or 20.00$ ! I bought something was saposed to be 3.50$ and was charged 5.50$ the sticker was for the right thing I had so it wasn't just someone put it in the wrong place either! A lot of things just thrown around not organized at all !

I faithfully come here every 2weeks when I get paid & buy everything you could need for house hold, cashiers are friendly but about few months ago this lady use to follow me around when I bring my purse in so now I just bring my foreman of payment only in my pocket BC it makes me very uncomfortable with someone watching your every move, now I could see if I went in n came out without buying a thing, but I drop at leat 50$ or more so idk wth her deal was but I haven't seen her in there past few months!!! #dontmakemefeelthatway

This has got to be the filthiest establishment in Edgewood. Not tidy. So much dirt is on the floor that if I threw down grass seeds I am positive they would grow. Disgusting!!!!
