WOW!!! We were visiting from Virginia and we had to leave a review! This is the most beautiful antique/small business shop we have ever been to and weve been to so many shops accross the nation! Not only was it beautifully laid out throughout the whole store, the ENTIRE store smelled absolutely amazing. We are used to antique stores having that old smell but not here, each room smelled lovely! They have an array of beautiful candies and chocolates which were delicious as well! The jewelry is also stunning they have so many options. I can't say enough about this place they truly have mastered antique shopping here. Don't skip this place it's truly a delight!

Don't let the outside fool you they've got plenty of modern merchandise and antiques at affordable rates. Jewelry, gifts, chocolates. They also sale some Maryland themed items. My out of town visitor loved it.

Very fun antique shop! I like coming her with my Mother from time to time, and we always have fun. The only thing I would change is the price of most of there items, but rather then that it's really cool to visit.

They treated us like thieves! Followed us around and we're so obvious! And I saw a lot of made in China stuff and even Dollar tree items that were marked up 7 times or more.

Stopped on a lark after a long absence and pleasantly surprised. Lots of decorative country smalls, plus jewelry, gifts, and other feminine attractions, including seasonal clothing. Some furniture and whole room full of vintage Pyrex. Very pleasant staff. I'll be back.

Great shopping experience. My nieces came to visit and we took a trip to the Apple Basket. We had the perfect shopping day! So much inventory to choose, we spent a few hours there. Friendly staff, plus the Owner Charlene was on site which is a huge plus!!!! Will visit more in the future.

Very eclectic country store. They have a great mix of specialty brands(Vera Bradley, Simply Southern, etc) to suit your needs. I definitely recommend trying The Taste of Spice mixes they sell there. The Southern Maryland Spice Dip is phenomenal. They also sell goat milk soap if you are looking for some!

I really don't have much to say about this place besides how awful the owner is. I talked to Charlene in person about a part time position she was hiring for, and was informed she doesn't hire young mothers because they often call out and cause a lot of problems. As a 28 year old mature, married, mother I was not only taken aback by this, I was disgusted. I'm glad she didn't give me a chance to work for her in hindsight. I will no longer shop at the Apple Basket and I hope all the other young mothers that might read this won't support a business that would discriminate against them.

Cool place to check out- not a lot of antiques, but a lot of neat things- very large, need to take your time to see everything. My husband ended up sitting in the truck while I finished looking around.

This antique shop is packed full of everything from rings, bracelets, pins, necklaces, furniture, paintings, cameras, old tools, glasses/dishes and a little of everything else. If you can't find something here you like then you are not looking.
