I am soooo 🤬at ACE. If you don't know, ACE does not return paint. Some place on earth maybe, but everyone makes mistakes! I am so glad the store had only 1 gallon of the Royal Flat, since I wanted 2- phew! When I requested the paint I continued shopping. Once I Picked up the paint the person who mixed the paint wasn't there. So I inspected the paint, and I noticed the variance from the swatch. I accepted the paint because of the oops paint policy. Ace hardware wants us to trust, their expertise, and I am thinking maybe it will dry and take on the appearance as they don't make mistakes when mixing paints.A picture is worth a thousand words.

For a local Hardware store their hours are ridiculous. They don't have homeowners hours. They have contractors hours. For any person that works and does DIY after work or on the weekend do not count on this store to be open when you need that one part to finish a project. You can't count on them to be open if something breaks. This forces people who live well off of route 4 to travel to St. Mary's county to Lowes to get a toilet bolt etc. Today I pulled up just before 6 and the store was locked and I was met by an employee that was astonished that I just needed an outlet cover and was aggravated they were closed at 6:00 pm on a Saturday...

I was just there again this morning because you can't trust what the website says is in stock, you can't rely on staff saying if its in stock or not, and of course- yet again, they DON'T have what I need in stock... for the LAST time. I'll NEVER EVER EVERRRRR spend another dime or minute in this useless pile of junk.

What a great store with super knowledgeable, courteous and polite staff! With all of the selections, let's just say there is plenty to choose from.  Their location and lumber yard assistance and propane refilling is super convenient... Kudos to all the staff. We will definitely return again and again and again! I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

It's a great store! All kinds of local gifts, Simply Southern, home decor, paint, small outdoor plants and amendments department-wish they had more. Shovels, spades, pitch forks, saws, lawn equipment & parts, shipping and receiving for UPS and Amazon, sunglasses, ty, children's books with stuffed animal to match theme, candy, clothing, etc. It's a gift and home decor store inside a hardware store!

They do the Best from the time you walk in the welcome you in and I ask a nice Lady for help not knowing she was already on a mission but in less than 5 minutes she was there helping me. Ace beats the pants off of Lowe's who has NO Service as far as I'm concerned ! But Ace needs to upgrade the front doors for the Handycap ! Plenty Handycap Parking but it's hard for me to get in the Door.

I asked the assistant manager why they closed at six on Sundays and he said I could shop somewhere else and then that escalated me saying something else to him and all and then he told me he told the girls not to ring me up . that if I came back that he would have the sheriff arrest me all he does is walk around all day and have tell customers what aisle stuff is in but he was very nasty and I didn’t like it at all that’s not how you treat customers he should’ve answered my question he should’ve said you need to call corporate are you need to speak with the manager? He didn’t need to say you can shop somewhere else and then I asked him for a price check and instead of him, putting it back where it belongs he just set it on the endcap of something else

EXPENSIVE, needed two "L" brackets they had a 4 pack for $9.99, I thought it was over priced. I pulled up Wal-Mart's app searched the exact item was ONLY $1.97!!!!

Very convenient for every day needs. Pricing is appropriate for a small retailer, but generally more expensive than a Lowes or Home Depot. The staff can be aggressive in wanting to help, alike a Best Buy; however, they are authentic and knowledgeable with their products. Product offering is mixed but they do a very good job in providing products the larger stores do not offer - good examples are home goods and outdoor products.

These folks are friendly and know what they're doing. Even as a woman wandering around the store looking confused, I don't feel patronized at all. If you've never been there, the gift shop will surprise you; they carry a large collection of Southern Maryland themed gifts as well as plenty of whimsical and creative gifts. Their buyer does a good job!

Everyone is very friendly. You can usually find those unique things that no one else usually carries. Prices are a bit high but considering that local stores usually are and the fact that you'd spend more on gas then you would save on cost by going somewhere else, it is a great place to shop.They have some great sales once in a whole too.

Friendly staff and VERY helpful. The managers and staff are very knowledgeable and go out of there way to help you, not like your typical big box stores where they quickly answer your questions and move on. They treat every customer with respect and go out of their way to help you out. They also carry unique merchandise that you can't find elsewhere.

This hardware store never fails to amaze me or disappoint me. The employees are so helpful and will go far beyond what I am used to at Home Depot or Lowes. It is a completely different shopping experience!! Every single person we encountered today, in the quest to buy a leaf blower, was helpful and thorough. This has been my experience for years but today was finally the tipping point to get me to write a review :-) Whatever management is doing here: keep doing it!! You have a great thing going. Thanks!!

One of the best hardware stores I've ever visited.Looking for an obscure nut/bolt/washer/part/tool..they probably have it.Customer service is the best. Business owners take note: This is how it's done; make a visit and spend a few hours browsing and take note of the customer service.A little pricy, but worth not having to deal with the incompetence at the big box stores.

I have better luck getting in a bank then i do the local hardware store. If they would cut the staff in half, they could stay open past 5pm during the week and open on sundays. Instead theres a red vest in each and every single aisle asking if you need help. I would prefer to support them instead a big box store like Lowes however theyre never open for me to support them! I cannot grasp how the local hardware store can have such horrible hours. They are overstaffed each day and half the time two kids just hanging out chatting instead of working. Cut staff each day and extend hours!

I've only been a few times but each time I go I'm very happy leaving the store. They have a nice selection and I appreciate how friendly and nice the staff is. I make special trips as I live a good distance from it but it's worth it. I also like how is a dig friendly place. At checkout, my dog received a treat.

I go into sneades for a variety of reasons. The staff is always friendly and can help you with most questions. Be sure to get an ace card though.. it saves money. It's a general hardware store which is a nice family owned alternative to Lowe's and home Depot.

I love Snead's ace hardware in Lusby. They always have what I need and the prices are about the same from Lowes but I don't need to cross the bridge. I do end up buying more than I should because I just walk up and down the isles.Make sure you check for manager specials as there are often some really good finds!

One of my favorite places to shop! The Sneades Family has outdone themselves with their stores. I love that you can find other things besides JUST "Home Improvement" items. I will ALWAYS go there before driving the distance to Lowe's.

This is the first hardware store in which I really enjoyed shopping. The merchandise is quality, displays and layout are beautiful, and employees are phenomenally friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a drive, but we will be shopping here often. What a joy!
