Nice large grocery store for a relatively out of the way place. Lots of fresh produce, meats, and seafood. Abundant firewood. There is an adjacent Giant-branded gas station. Not many manned check out counters, but they say the self-check is only for 20 items or less? Either way, when I visited on a Friday evening lines were short and parking was plentiful.

Their Deli is a pure disaster! Ordered 2 large meat and cheese trays...called the day before to make sure everything was good and Giant said yes. Wife goes to pick up today for our Christmas party and they make three medium trays. They said it's the same amount that a large tray would have on it. Huh??!!! Charged us for large trays but gave us medium one's instead. It would have been nice to call us beforehand and tell us they ran out of the large trays!!! Incompetence is thick at the Deli counter! I'd highly advise people to order elsewhere. It's obvious these people have no clue what they're doing!!

I had the most wonderful experience today with Aquila. She went above and beyond with her exemplary customer service and satisfaction. She is a pharmacist in Giant. I was experiencing extreme difficulties with having the VA send my prescription over properly. Not only did she personally call the VA to rectify the situation, she called me personally as well to inform me id the steps she was taking. She called me immediately. This is exceptional. I’m a veteran and I can not thank her enough for taking her time and consideration to care about an individual. Highly recommended!!!

This store is horrible. Never enough checkers. Not fully stocked EVER. No reason to hoard items in the back. Constantly have to go to another store. Cashiers slow, love to chit chat when there is a line of 10 on. Saturday. WORST STORE IN LUSBY.

Always clean and has great people their. I've gotten advice for a recipe on items I've never cooked with as well as how to spice up and change today I do cook with. Everyone is friendly and helpful and if they don't have something in stick they let you know when it will likely be in or where you are most likely to find it if you need it that day. The prices are great too. I shop for 5 and a weekly bill runs between 60-100 for our food with veggies and fruit, can't beat that.

Their pharmacy needs someone to re-teach employees to have RX's filled faster , have 7 yr customers everyday meds in stock, I just can't list everything. I can say that most employees are nice and polite.

The store was very clean and the parking lot was clear of clutter.Some departments were short staffed at 4:30 pm ,which is dinner hour The associates were very friendly regardless of staffing needs. Finding things in this store was easy.

Was great until I went to put my cart in the holder and got yelled at for connecting it into another cart that was apparently “two different carts” my bad. No more trying to help from me! 🙃

The store workers for the most part are great. Manager is not too friendly or helpful. We have tried it many of times under the new management and just decided to take our business elsewhere. They do carry a lot, but do get rid of a lot of good products.

This location is always well maintained. The staff is helpful and friendly. The shelves are always filled with product and clean. The produce is fresh and looks good. The bakery always has fresh items made daily and the cakes are good. The checkout lines move quick. The parking lot is roomy and has plenty of parking. They also have a gas station on site.

Good food selection and great butcher counter. Appreciate the 'healthy foods' section added. We love the sourdough and raisin bread in the bakery but do wish there were more baked goods (there aren't really any other bakeries around). More breakfast pastries, etc.

Melody at the pharmacy did an amazing job today. I registered for the CoVid vaccine on line, but it didn’t go through to Giant. She was very kind, polite and very friendly. She explained that I would have to wait till the people who were there with an appointment went first. Seats were available, so I filled out the forms and waited for about 15 minutes. Melody made sure that my information was correct and gave me a great jab! Thank you Melody and Giant.

The friendliness of this grocery store is what keeps me coming back. The store is one of the better Giant Food stores I have encountered. Shelves always stocked and again the friendliness of the staff is an added pleasure. The store itself is laid out so well.

Very disappointed when I stopped on my way to work for donuts. At 6:30am yesterday's donuts were just being removed and the fresh donuts were not available. The store opened at 6am, the donuts should have been available.

This was easily one of the better Giants I've been to. It was huge, which is a benefit of not being in the city, I suppose, and it was pretty well-stocked considering the current times. The staff was helpful (I'd have never found the ice without them - it was all the way in the back corner of the store).Spacious, tons of parking, easy to get in and out, generally easy to adhere to COVID guidelines.

I like giant a lot but wish they would stock gluten free foods together better. They have a specific section, but, for example, not all gluten free Mac and cheese is in that section: the store brand gluten free Mac and cheese is still with regular Mac and cheese. If that's the worst problem I have, I'm doing pretty great, though. :) staff is always helpful and friendly and the store is always clean.

While somewhat higher priced to start with, they are now taking away the 5% discount for giant employees for all storewide merchandise and replacing it with 10% off on just substandard giant food brands. They already took away the 5% for seniors on Tuesdays on top of slimming down on gas points while increasing the number and price of items for gas points. Well I understand the need to cut costs, there now taking away from the people who are actually the backbone of the company and those responsible for the company's success. Add all of this on top of the fact that they won't sign a decent Union contract and continually take away from employees benefits, it's making more and more sense for employees to shop at Weis or Safeway food stores so they can save more on their food bills. Pitiful and just so out of touch with their employees, customers and demographic base.Now they have gone too far! They have now closed down the entrance by the pharmacy thereby forcing all handicapped people to walk through all the way down to the other entrance and all the way around the store to get to what once was the convenient way of picking up prescriptions. After 30 years of being loyal customers, we will be transferring all of our prescriptions to Weis or another local pharmacy. Was told it was to stem thefts and rather than taking costly security measures they decided to just outright discriminate against and inconvenience their handicap customers! Not "My Giant" any further!

This Giant is one of the best grocery stores in Calvert County. The shelves are always stocked, the personnel are always busy but they are so helpful. The check out woman was nice, happy, and very cheerful. This store is very Customer Service Orienteed. 5 stars

Food selection is good and the prices are reasonable. They recently changed the self checkout to smaller registers with out the belts. Overall it seems the self check out is now too small and not really any faster, even if they have twice as many machines.Avoid going on Sundays as all the people from church or the sports fanatics make it very busy there.

Needs more organic foods. Not just fresh but boxed as well. I like Giant. Just wonder prices are higher than Weis in same area. Does Giant not compete or analyze area food store pricing? Flower shop could be reduced to accommodate more fresh organics and organic items in canned, boxed and frozen exist in store brand grocer elsewhere, so why not my Giant(s)? 5 star when upgrade to the tines. I missed Giant while in WV but even there there was a Kroger with a lot of Organics near an middle class neighborhood.

2 cashiers on duty at a time during peak rush and they're both slower than my dead grandmother...but not too busy to chat with the half dozen employees hanging around the front of the store doing nothing. This has been the case for months-- not just a one-day fluke. Saw a spill today, reported it to the nearest employee, who said "tell someone else, not my problem." Cashier I reported it to was apologetic and responsive, but still.

Never had a problem here. Lines get long during busy times, but that's everywhere. You just need to know when to shop. Prices can be high on some things but other things are cheap. I like to buy the discounted items, especially the meats, which are always fresh. Even when marked down. Overall, great place. Friendly staff.

Clean, well organized and staff friendly.However, a very rude employee at self checkout today absolutely insisted that the "no cash dispensed" sign on the register HAD TO BE VISIBLE to the point that she put it back after I removed it.Lady: it was covering the scanner and I told you I understood there'd be no cash returned and I would put it back when I was done.Ringing up my own groceries and dealing with this person?Service fail.

The staff is AWESOME!!! I had to get used to the smaller selections coming from a bigger town in another state but the customer service makes up for it. Joe in meats and Glenda in deli greeted me from the very beginning and made this newbie in town feel welcome. This is my home now and this is my GIANT.
