This is the second time my dog has stayed here. The first time I gave some of my initial assessments a pass because it was my dog’s first time in an environment like this. However after picking her up yesterday I noticed similar signs of dehydration, particularly excessive panting and her pulling me to get out of the door. When scheduling her three night stay I shared that the last time I was told she ate their food in some instances and other times she didn’t. So like the first time I brought enough food to cover her stay in case she didn’t eat the food at all or on select days. I was reading her report card while waiting for her to be brought to me and I asked if she ate their food, the food I provided, or a combination of both? The nice young lady stated she wasn’t sure but would find out. She stepped away and came back with all of the food I brought and said she had eaten their food. She also let me know my dog had eaten that morning and been walked twice. Upon arriving home something told me to put food in her bowl to see if she would eat. I put the same serving size as I would her normal breakfast even though it was around 12 so it should have only been a few hours since she had breakfast. She proceeded to eat every single morsel of food. I can’t say for sure that she didn’t eat when she was there but it is unlike her to eat two full meals from morning to noon and she sat at her bowl after she finished which is an indicator she was seeking more food. Additionally, she proceeded to drink almost a full bowl of water in one setting confirming my thoughts that she was extremely thirsty. While I don’t think malice intent I will say my dogs behavior after her second stay there is uncharacteristic and a bit concerning. I also asked when scheduling her stay if they could give her a daily allergy chew [not doctor prescribed - OTC] and I was told yes. I packed three chews in a snack size ziplock bag. In looking at my bill today I was charged $3 for each chewable given to her. Note these are designed to be treat like so there is no forcing her to eat these. It’s literally giving her the chew. This wouldn’t be a big deal if I was told I would be charged as I would have likely forgone what I now know is an additional service fee but to look at my bill and see a $9 charge for giving her three chews is ridiculous. I will say the staff has been generally nice and in both instances I was flying back into town and 10 - 15 minute delays meant I was a few minutes late picking her up. They were kind enough to not make a big deal about it since I called from the airport making them aware.

Smokey’s orientation day was a pleasant surprise. Everyone was so welcoming from the moment we walked in and took care to explain the process. When I picked him up , he was so happy and slept well that night. We’re looking forward to spending more time there for socialization and fun with new furrr-ends and hooman friends.

We had to leave out of state suddenly for a family emergency. They took such wonderful care of our black lab. The pictures were great and the facility is so well run. This really is the perfect place for your dog or cat.

We love sending our precious Corgi, Bibi to Perfect Pet Resort because they love our girl as much as we do! We know she’s in good, caring hands when she is there. I love all the services offered, special activities you can add to a stay and I live for reading the report cards at the end of a stay. The staff at Perfect Pet Resort is top notch and second to none! Everyone I have interacted with at the resort or spoken to over the phone is super friendly and helpful in all aspects. We have had a couple of emergency situations where we needed a place for Bibi to stay and they have been very accommodating to our needs during stressful times. I highly recommend Perfect Pet Resort for all your pet care needs.

This place is incredible. Goose had the BEST time, and we had zero worries leaving him in the hands of the Perfect Pet Resort. The staff is super friendly and communicative. We utilized their wedding transport service, and it worked out perfectly. He came home sooo exhausted from all of the fun he had, and smelling like a pumpkin spice latte!

Nothing less than the best. My pup was brand new to me and to the facility. To find a place that gave every pet and owner such a hospitable service and greetings was beyond lucky. They were so welcoming and willing to work with him when no one else would. I could tell from how happy he was upon pick-up that he had the best time. He is a sweet boy and just loves to love everyone. He’s energetic and thinks he’s a lapdog, when he most definitely is not. Despite not being trained and not quite knowing how to channel his energy, the staff did a great job caring for his needs and making sure he was comfortable no matter how he was feeling.Upon first glance arriving to Perfect Pet Resort I was amazed with how well kept it looked. Inside and out, staff and dogs. I knew from the moment I called the front desk to schedule orientation that this was a promising choice. You could truly tell that everyone there loved what they were doing. That is something that will always draw people (and pets) back. The energy provided was unmatched and immediately lets owners know that their fur-babies are in good hands.I look forward to allowing Loki the chance to make more friends at Perfect Pet and I know for a fact that he CANNOT wait to go back! Thank you all for giving him an amazing first day! He says hi and that he misses you already :)

Worth the drive, price and peace of mind of leaving my baby in a place that will care for him well. Nothing but smiles and naps when he left, and his report card expressed that he had a wonderful day. Enzo had a great Doggie Daycare Orientation. From start to finish, everything was top notch. The staff was friendly, upbeat and most importantly very knowledgeable and competentIt is a lovely facility. We were a bit nervous that our rescued pup might think he was being left again. But he walked away with Madison and didn't look back. When we picked him up, he was happy to see us but clearly had played and enjoyed himself. He was so content!!! We even received his day 1 report card. He got an A+ and we give Perfect Pet Resort an A+ too. Thanks for making our special boy feel so special!!!

The staff at Perfect Pet Resort are very friendly and welcoming! They go above and beyond to accommodate and provide the best care for your fur baby while you are gone. Daisy had a great stay and looked so happy and energized when I picked her up. We will definitely be continuing using Perfect Pet Resort in the future!

I love this place. If it were closer to my home I’d use of for the occasional day stay for my dog. Friendly, clean. Truly professional and wonderful. The only thing I’d like is the occasional text of a photo while I am away but I can without that perk it’s a 10/10 stay

My pup always seemed to give groomers a hard time when he went for nail trimmings but must feel comfortable with Perfect Pet Resort because we never get bad remarks on his reports. Perfect Pet Resort is a wonderful option for doggie daycare or lodging. The staff is polite and welcoming and the facilities are very clean. Also, we like how the schedule includes rotating indoor and outdoor times. There are also pet options to individualize Bella’s stay. I imagine she loves her cuddle times!! Our 15 month old pup Cucumber is so reformed. We are happy that we trusted Butch with our dog and grateful for the stay and train. We can see how attached she is to everyone who loved on her. This was a holistic experience since they also incorporated owner/family after training sessions. We can finally go on walks without being dragged. Thank you.

My little pup loves going to Perfect Pet Resort! Sometimes I think he rushes me out the door to get there. He gets so excited when we turn down the drive way, and runs me to the door. Everyone is so amazing, on the phone or in person! I can’t say enough good things about them!

My pets and I absolutely love Perfect Pet Resort! I've been using them since I got my 2 Siamese cats in 2018 (with the exception of last year because they were full - I called way too late). This year, Ella and Chloe were at Perfect Pet Resort for almost 2 weeks. I had surgery out of state and had complications; therefore, I was unsure if I would make it back by the scheduled pick-up date. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating or flexible! Everyone is attentive. One of my cats had an issue with her eye during the stay, and the staff notified me promptly to let me know what was going on. They stayed on top of it and said they would contact a local veterinarian if it didn't improve (she's had the issue before, so I wasn't too surprised nor worried - especially while in the care of Perfect Pet Resort). From the call to book your reservation to the time you pick up at the end of the stay, you can tell your pet(s) are and have been in the very best of hands! Last year my cats stayed at a place in Davidsonville, and it was a complete nightmare. While back at Perfect Pet Resort this year, I see how spoiled we are and how high my expectations are given my experiences at Perfect Pet Resort. After their pick-up today, compared to last year, I can see a complete difference in both of my cat's personalities upon arriving home. My cats were not distressed and both were comfortable and back to normal almost immediately. This was not the case after the Davidsonville stay, unfortunately. I will never make the mistake of calling last minute to book reservations where all of us are the most comfortable! To be honest, I think Ella and Chloe may have more fun at Perfect Pet Resort than at home … it’s a vacation for my girls! Everyone at Perfect Pet Resort, thank you, thank you, and thank you! You are all absolutely amazing!

My golden retriever loved this place for doggy daycare, we were treated so well. The staff made sure that I was comfortable and knowledgeable about the whole daycare process. Would definitely recommend to other pet owners.

Perfect Pet Resort took wonderful care of my jumpy rescue German Shepherd. He was a bundle of nerves when I dropped him off, and admittedly so was I, but when I picked him up 8 days later and his tail was wagging at the staff I felt incredibly gratified in my choice of pet boarding. They are extremely attentive to each animal and their needs, and I will never hesitate to recommend their services. A huge thank you from my dog Ivan, and from me!

I haven’t board my dogs there but I will definitely board them there. I was told about the place through some of my clients and I must say when you walk in there it feels like a resort not a motel 6 like some daycares I been too. The tour was great the rooms are perfect and it don’t smell bad definitely recommend them. Pricey but it’s worth it

Absolutely love perfect pet resort! My cat and two pups have been here multiple times. My cat never comes back stressed or unhappy. My pups are always happy to be there. My pup Félix turned 4 on his last stay and they even sent me bday photos and made sure his day was extra special.

We took our 13 month old Male Golden Retriever here for the two week board and Train with Butch and we couldn’t be happier! We have seen other trainers before for our crazy dog and nothing seemed to work. Our dog now fully listens and we have complete control over him in the best way possible. We are able to take him into environments we never thought we could and are able to walk him without even using a leash! Butch was awesome to work with and would recommend him and Perfect Pet to anyone!!

Top notch pet care. I was impressed from my first contact. I sent a request online and had an immediate response. I received a call once I made my reservation so they could get more information on my “fur baby”. They were really interested in my dogs needs and quirks. I received calls when she wasn’t eating and calls when she was doing better with the food they recommended for her. Everyone I met was friendly and professional.But the real proof was how good my girl looked when I picked her up. She was happy and healthy. Fantastic pet care!

My family has taken our dogs to many pet day care places. None of them measure up to the quality of Perfect Pet.The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. The lobby itself is always clean and smells fresh. Every dog and cat that comes here is happy to come. We’ve taken both our dogs and cats here and they love it.
