I don't know in what world that Royal Farms chicken is world famous. It was dry, stringy and salty. Not crispy at all. I got 5 fries with my meal. They were not crispy. They looked like fries but tasted like baked potatoes. The ranch dipping sauce was watery and flavorless. They say that you get 2 dipping sauces but only the ranch and Buffalo. They try to upcharge you for the rest (even though it isn't listed on tge menu screen. They tack it onto your bill at the end). Drink is not included. I tried it once but won't return.

I have been coming in to this store for years. The bathrooms and the trash in the parking were terrible. I kept coming back because of the friendliness of the clerks.Lately, I have been impressed with the improvement of the store's appearance. I was so impressed I spoke to the manager about the cleanliness and how hiring Anthony to keep the store clean was the best thing he could have done for the store. When I go in the store, I see Anthony sweeping the parking lot, taking the trash out, cleaning the bathrooms, and today I saw him wiping counters down. The manager and staff are top notch.

This is an great, 24 hour, full service location. They have everything a Royal Farms could offer. Competitive prices on gas and diesel. A well stocked, neat and tidy store. The made to order food kitchen is open all night. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. One of best Royal Farm stores you'll ever visit.They even have indoor and outdoor dining area seating.

Had to wait 10 minutes at the register to get a gas pump receipt printed. Other employees at the registers couldn’t help while the clerk had to count his drawer at 2:15pm. Not a reasonable treatment of customers. Poor training or poor systems or just poor leadership at the store. I’ll have to shift to an alternative for my routine stop.

The guy there was cool and professional the female was a real life queen of the getto. I could hear in her voice the pain of years on top of years of being someone's baby mama. so rude and and disrespectful I wasn't even mad I felt sorry for her its license carry around a demon on her shoulder I hope she finds peace in her heart or a better job foe her mental condition like a walmart greater or maker of lace fronts. I work in e.m.s and even my mentally ill patient don't act like that. But the other dude cool and professional.

Place is dirty. They don't clean. You can't get help from employees. They don't make the food right. My chicken has been raw. And my subs are always on two separate pieces of bread

People were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The only issue I had was the coffee. The Columbian coffee was weak. If I had not put the pumpkin spice creamer in, it would've been a waste of coffee. I didn't try their "World Famous Chicken". Why? Because it was 5 in the morning. 😩

I am a huge ROFO fan. I drive a tanker and am all over a few states, frequent many of their "ROFO" stores; but store 193 on 2/13/24 12:15 am was top shelf in every aspect! Cleanliness was awesome, service was exceptional, assistance at check out was wonderful, especially the smiles... and I am sorry but not all ROFO's are created equal! Store 193 your chicken was off the chart good, along with your well stocked coffee bar and staff!!Five stars all the way! Great Job!

Ive been at this store numerous times and parking lot was a bit rough but today it was beautiful! Someone worked very hard to clean it up and make it look so inviting that I noticed the hard work!! Great job!

The food is good. however, I ordered fries and a sandwich. I was given just the sandwich and told to have a good day. When I asked about the fries, the cook whipped around and glared at me. she seem appalled that I was speaking to her. apparently the cook was waiting for the fries to cook (which is something i could not have known) then when I was given cheese sauce instead of chesapeake sauce, I started to ask and again, the glare. I just thanked the cook and left with the order. "oookkkaaayyy" was the cook's response. she was looking at me like I was crazy. your employees are not happy and they hate interacting with customers. please hire people who are not threatening. I'll never return to this place.

Just arrived late into town and needed dinner at 1am. Lucky for me, my hotel recommended the chicken at Royal Farms. The chicken and sauces were delicious, but what really stood out was the stellar customer service from Nelly! Tay was so friendly and kind too. After a long day of travel, it was nice to be treated so warmly by Royal Farms. I'll definitely be back!

I had to pull up to 7 different pumps before I found a working one. First 4 the screens were not operating. The 5th had a nozzle whose hose wasn't attached to anything and was just laying on the pavement. The 6th had a broken sensor or something; it kept cutting off like my tank was full. Even the 7th, which finally let me get gas, has a "receipt error".

Shopping here requires a change of clothes. Unless you're able to make it in and out in under 30 seconds, you leave smelling like they used your shirt to wipe the grease under the fryer. Bonus star for the cashier today who didn't ignore me like the rest usually do.

It's a brand new facility but feel annoyed when the homeless folks are trying to bum cigarettes and money off of you before you can manage getting out of your vehicle and inside the building.

This location is completely unacceptable. I called this morning at 6:05 and spoke with the store to place an order for a 50 piece. When I arrived I was told that there was no order. When I spoke to the manager, Patrick, he was dismissive and stated that I probably didn't talk to anyone even after I showed him the record of call because I didn't remember the name of the person from a phone call at 6am. He offered no compensation whatsoever and acted as though my business was an inconvenience. I was picking up for a local law enforcement agency and find the level of disrespect experienced ridiculous. I will never use this store again.

Nice folks, reasonably fast except when you would expect it to be busy-- AM breakfast, mid-day lunch, after work rush, and "that" part of late Saturday nights-- and well stocked.Three self-serve checkouts vs 1 staffed register are quite fast paced... but annoy. Hire humans, please! At the very least, buy American computer terminals!

This particular Royal Farms needs new management the people who was working there was unhelpful and it appeared that they hate their job. There’s an older white guy who works there and blows his nose in a paper towel, then touches the chicken without changing his gloves . The chicken is usually old, dried up and salty. The high salt level is ridiculous some of the pieces of chicken still had feathers on it and some of the drumsticks look like the drum of a wing but cost $3.69 each. It didn’t look clean inside the floors were dirty and there was trash on the ground outside the door. Start paying your employees more money and provide adequate training then your ratings will hopefully get better.

You need some better people for the overnight shift. The two guys you have, ain’t it. He looked at me waiting at the register. I asked him if I could get a pack of cigarettes, and was outright ignored. Self checkout was the worst thing Royal Farms ever did. Now it takes longer to get anything from behind the counter. And in most cases, holds up a line, because there hardly anyone nearby to help at THIS location. 0 stars

Great gas prices but more importantly as soon as you walk into the establishment the smell of freshly fried chicken fills the air and it immediately grabs your attention. The chicken fresh, very well seasoned and very juicy. I had the chicken tenders which were very meaty so you get full with a few and I had their chicken thighs which were a perfect golden brown. If you're ever in the area and stopping for gas please get some chicken before getting back on the road.

I will start by saying I know that they are having a shortage of employees at most Royal Farm locations. With that being said, it was very dirty, trash piled high in every area. The biggest disappointment was the chicken dinner I got. It was obviously overcooked or old, I had to throw it away. I am glad I had my points and didn't pay for it. A truly disappointing visit. I actually went to the Highs up the road, and brought a new chicken dinner and that was a better experience. I truly hope things get better. Visited on 5/23/21.

I just want to personally thank Jessica for her hospitality this morning. I was trying to get air in my tire from the free services but instead of air going in my air was coming out and left me at 13 PSI I thought I would have to call AAA but Jessica gladly stepped in and said she would use her personal pump to get me back on the road. Everything worked out ! Thank you Jessica!

Lots of pumps, good food options and I like the self checkout. I go here at least 10 times a month even with these issues: not very clean inside outside, bathroom sink design is horrible, they run out of supplies (bags, napkins, food), food is not consistent, service is spotty. Overall this location is not well run.

This is a bigger fuel stop/convenience store than average. They have a deli where you can get made to order sandwiches and such. Clean store and restrooms. First such store that I have seen self-checkouts in and they had 4! It was a nice store 6-14-21
