Can't be wrong for a Sunday breakfast there.Large selection of breakfast dishes, the place was more popular than expected!The prices were reasonable, and some of the best pancakes I have eaten so far. However I do recommend to go early for a little quiet time.The decorations will transport you in a refurbished barn by boys wanting to remember the cool old days.

First time at Cracker Barrel. Perfect stop for a road trip. The food was good, especially for the prices. Very filling and bloated. I got the Biscuit Benny and the biscuit beignets. The biscuit beignets were so warm and soft on the inside. However, I recommend sharing that side with others; not something you want to finish all by yourself. I would definitely get them again. The lunch and dinner food comes with complimentary biscuits and corn muffins. I like how the biscuits tasted like sourdough bread. Also the corn muffin wasn’t very sweet like cornbread. The hashbrown casserole side I got was really good. The General store had everything from clothes, snacks, candies, and knickknacks. There’s also rocking chairs outside the restaurant. Had fun rocking on it. Ultimately, it was a good experience to have with a group of people.

Jada was our server and she was incredibly nice professional and a joy. She checked on us frequently and made extra trips when we needed something we didn't tell her in the first place.The restaurant was very clean and alive and very busy. Had a party of 100 come in right after us that made them slammed. Our order still came out quickly and fresh. The food was perfectly cooked. The server was exceedingly attentive.The host was nice and stressed out, and the cashiers were equally as pleasant.I ordered the Country Boy and my girlfriend ordered the Grandma's Plate. The steak was cooked exactly how I asked and the eggs were scrambled correctly. We asked for a bunch of extra creamer with our coffee because we like to drink it and they brought us two ramekins without question.This place is in a Cody location right off the freeway behind some trees. Stop by.

I really wish I can give this Cracker Barrel five stars. We typically love eating at Cracker Barrel. But for breakfast, definitely not the place to go. They've reduced the breakfast menu so much that it's obviously not a priority for them anymore. They only have one option now for a potato side dish...a potato, cheese and onion casserole. No hash browns, no home fries. And toast options only include sourdough or whole wheat... that's it. And in this particular instance, all the food came out cold. So when it came back for the second round, it came out at different times. The attached picture says it all. The sausage could be used as hockey pucks, they were so hard. And the eggs? Uh-uh.I hope someone higher up at the company takes this to heart and improves the breakfast menu. On a more positive note, our waitress was fantastic! Very personable and kind.

Cracker barrel is not fancy but it is consistently good food. Simple and tasty. A wonderful young lady named Kaydence took care of me tonight..... smiled, checked on me and kept my water full. Those little things make all the difference! The chicken fried steak, green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy were perfectly cooked, hot and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of salt. For only $2.50 extra I upgraded to a side salad as one of my side dishes. The salad was refreshingly large and topped with tomatoes, bacon, cucumber, cheese and croutons. It was really very good. The food was good and reasonably priced. That is how you earn 5 stars..... tasty food and good service.

Great location right off of 270 in Frederick, closest one in Maryland to the DC area. Our family likes to head up here in a lazy day and enjoy the great breakfast. Be prepared to wait as it always seems busy but the wait tends to move fast. Our recent trip was more of a brunch with someone who has never been before. The great thing about this restaurant is that it has something for everyone. So if you want to indulge go for it, if you are looking for something on the lighter side they have that too. The favorite by many of our family is the Grandma’s special or the breakfast sampler. The country ham can be a bit too salty in my opinion, so be careful. Hope you enjoy!

UPDATE- while we had great service on Saturday, Sunday was a totally different experience unfortunately. We had to wait once seated, the coffee was lukewarm and by the time we received our food it was cold. This was really disappointing because we arrived earlier and it wasn’t crowded.If you go on a Saturday go before 9am or there will most likely be a wait!! Our server was great and very personable and kept making sure we didn’t need anything. They have impossible sausage!!Vegetarian options: They have impossible sausage as the breakfast “meat” option.

I’ve been to the local Cracker Barrel twice within the last month. Food was good, as expected, but service was slow for a group of 6, especially when delivering the food and on coffee refills. Maybe it was our group size but for breakfast, our orders should’ve been quick and it wasn’t overly busy. For dinner, the fried chicken pieces were much smaller, but I’m assuming that is due to increased inflation prices. Honestly, the portion sizes in the past have been large. I still took home leftovers.

Worst experience ever at a Cracker Barrel. First took 13 minutes for someone to come and ask what we wanted to drink. Ordered drinks and an appetizer. Drinks came no appetizer. Had to ask for rolls and then again for butter. Ordered meals, no appetizers. Meal came still no appetizer. Told the waitress never mind and her response was I’ll go check on it. Brought my meal and was told they were out of a side of my choice. I ordered another side and was 3/4 done my meal when it came out. The whole restaurant was very trashy with straw papers, napkins and other trash on the ground. WORST SERVICE EVER! And by the way I used to eat there a decent amount.

This is the most disappointing Cracker Barrel I’ve ever been to. First of all… People in this area are just savages and rude AF… They walk through you and don’t even say, “excuse me…” We go to get seated and the individual who sat us didn’t check to see if the tables were cleaned… So we stood there while they cleaned the table and swept the floor. It looked like barbarians actually sat at the table before us. I kid you not, we ordered breakfast at 1:45 pm and two tables that were seated AFTER us got their food and were eating before our food even came. It’s now 2:35 pm and our food still isn’t here. Ok so the food shows up at 2:37 pm. Presentation is mediocre at best… I start to eat my potatoes and there is an apple in the middle of the two ordered of potatoes I ordered. I’m SUPER pissed… –Wish there were other options for Cracker Barrel in other areas besides Linthicum…

Food quality is fast food, I'm sure not much cooking goes on in the back. Which is fine, I got what I expected, nothing complex nothing exciting. It the semi home-made style food. Deep fryer was down so couldn't get the fried chicken which I think is one of the few things not cooked from frozen. Ended up getting country fried steak. I feel like 15+ years ago I remember it being good. Not so much in 2024. Waitress did her job just fine..... Remember it's fastfood casual.

We recommend. There were some complications but they were super accommodating. We had a very large group. We got some mix messages regarding if they could accommodate our group( in the future, we know to break up large groups). Our servers were great! Management went above and beyond to right the wrongs. Took a bit to get the bill, the system had trouble breaking up the bill.

Would give ZERO stars if that was an option. Ordered curbside, pickup went fine. Got home, sat down to eat and there is THICK, LONG, BLACK hair under, on top of AND FRIED INTO my chicken. Called the store to resolve and was put in hold for 28 mins and NOBODY EVER CAME TO THE PHONE. My husband drove 15 mins back to the store with the food, had to wait to see a manager to get a refund. Manager "just doesn't know how this could happen because they wear hair nets" and didn't know what to say when my husband then suggested that it must have been intentional. No excuses for multiple hairs in a plate of food.Just submitted a complaint to corporate so there is no need to reply to this review asking me to contact you and I will not change this review. Pics for proof. My family is a bunch of blondes so it's impossible to say it was our hair. Freaking disgusting hygiene and pathetic "customer service". Ruined the entire family's breakfast and morning.

Place is filthy and dirty, we went to the bathroom waiting for our food. The busboys clean up the whole table including a bag of candy that we broad for the kids. The busboys told us my Job is nobody in the table I clean. No apology at all didn't care. Food is ok. . Nothing out of the ordinary... Food was just dump to the table..

I went on a Sunday around noon. Of course it was going to be busy. I expected to wait a bit. However, when my party was called, we were called with approximately five other parties. So, all of the parties were at the front of the waiting area at the same time. If you're familiar with the layout of a Cracker Barrel, you know that there is no space for everyone waiting after being called. We were all getting frustrated because the people seating us were moving very slowly. Once seated however, the waitress came pretty quickly and was quite pleasant. We did have to ask for our biscuits and water. The waitress did act like she was doing us a favor. So, I am not sure if bringing biscuits to the table is something that they do regularly anymore. If it is, the waitress was unfamiliar with that policy. Food was pretty tasty and the temperature of the food was perfect. Overall, my experience there was pleasant.

This place is really busy so if you order online still be prepared to wait for your food. I got the French toast twice both times it was cold by the time I got it home to eat and I only live 10 minutes away. I think if I didn't have to wait so long to get it from the online order rack it probably would have been fine. Not gonna give up yet I'll try it one more time. busy time and they must have been short servers. we were sat and didn't have anyone come over for almost 10 minutes. we asked the host if there was a server at our table and he found another server. the host, Chris, was extremely helpful the rest of our stay. helping the server who was extremely busy. truthfully, without Chris' assistance during our meal the visit would have been less pleasant. so please thank him, management!

They have new menu ites that are a perfect addition to the menu. The biscuits and pancakes are classic hits every time. I got the sirloin hash scramble which was very good. Then we got homestyle loaded fried chicken and Street corn to go. Waitress was so very kind and quick. She checked on us frequently. My eyes were definitely too big for my stomach. So I have breakfast for tomorrow lol. I have to go back to try the new biscuit beignets with pecan dip and other new items.PLUS we checked in online prior to arrival which greatly shortened our wait time.Recommend this location purchase new equipment that would easily allow separating check. The Kent Island location had no issue with this.Kid-friendliness: My daughter parked at our table in her stroller. So convenient!

Food is consistently good, though if one orders the hash brown casserole during lunch or dinner time, it is usually dry and somewhat crunchy. I highly recommend getting the hash brown casserole only during breakfast time. Server was pleasant, but exceptionally long delays in table visits. I would have enjoyed more coffee and a water, but by the time I saw him again it was too late.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no auto opening doors, which makes it a challenge to get a wheelchair bound person through the doors by oneself. Recommend installing this capability.

We were not happy with the service. The waitress never came back to check on us or fill out drinks. I ordered the chicken and dumplings. The bowl was half full. My wife ordered a different meal and ordered dumplings for a side dish. The serving portion was almost the same. Most importantly, our food was Luke warm instead of hot. It's quite disappointing.One more thing, the hostess, a young thin black woman, acted like she was the queen of England. She acted like she was doing us a favor, seating us.

My sister and I visited the Cracker Barrel location may 3, around 6:45 am, on W. Nursery rd in Maryland. The service was awful. The food was ok at best. Our bacon came out burnt, and our biscuit and gravy were cold, but the server wouldn’t know that because she dropped our food to us and never came back. We literally had to go up front to get our check. Our server named Jalissa was sitting at a table texting, when we walked by to go get our check. She never checked on us or got any refills. We were one of maybe 5 tables, I don’t know how this place would operate had it been busy. On the bright side the lady who checked us out was lovely
