Absolutely love coming here! The staff are all very knowledgeable and can answer any of your bird (or squirrel) questions. I especially love the spicy seed they have. The cylinders are especially great if you have little ones or pets who are around the bird feeder. It doesn't make a mess and leave pieces of seeds or shells on the ground.

Just got into bird watching and putting out bird feeders so I felt a little intimated to go in like a dummy and ask dumb questions but I couldn't have been more appreciative of the staff. They were all so kind and helpful. They really took the time to explain everything to a newbie like myself. I will definitely be using them for all by future needs

Went there with children today and the moment we walking in I was followed around like I was there to take something. I felt super uncomfortable and couldn’t even enjoy looking at anything.The owner Barbara followed in behind and everything the children touched she scolded them. Once time they looked a a children’s book and she told them “put that back, your not allowed to read that”.I’ve never been there before, but I can tell you I will never go back. She obviously hates children being in her store, so just be aware of that. She thought I was going to just stand by and let her bully the kids, she was sadly mistaken.

New to bird feeders and watching. The employees did a great job explaining various options and differences. They were extremely helpful. Just a really neat store that I look forward to going back. The bird seed I purchased there definitely attracted more birds than the bags I had bought at the grocery store.

The folks at WBU continue to provide excellent customer service even during the pandemic. I placed an order online, and they delivered it the same day! I wasn't expecting that. I enjoy visiting the store, too, and look forward to stopping in again when things return to normal. As others have mentioned, their birdseed is a bit expensive, but I find their prices for feeders, hooks, and suet logs to be really reasonable. They can help you get parts for your feeders as well. The best part is that the staff is really knowledgeable and can find a solution to keeping greedy squirrels from raiding your feeders. Plus, they have nice garden and outdoor-themed decorations for your home. It really is a nice store to visit.

Cute store filled with lots of goodies for attracting birds, squirrels, hummingbirds etc. I haven't been to the store in awhile and I'm truly missing it. They can give great advice on what you need to get in order to attract what birds and not pushy. They even have two store cats that will greet you when you walk in. The products are a bit pricey but very nice.

Such a friendly and knowledgeable staff; Which includes two store Kitties they have as pets/store watchers. Their sweet kitties and everyone loves them, even though it's a bird store! :)They have everything you'd need to build your backyard bird sanctuary, as well as alot of adorable, great gift ideas for the bird lover in your life!(No birds are sold here.. just everything you'd need to attract them to your yard.)I absolutely LOVE this store!!!! ♥️🐦😍

Wow! A huge selection for the bird watching fan. Nancy was very helpful in showing me some great options for hanging my feeders and keeping them safe from the squirrels. The birds were so excited to see the new system and came to check it out as soon as I had it up. Now maybe I can get some nice pictures of my backyard birds. Thanks 😊

The owner gave a very informative zoom briefing on all you want to know about hummingbirds and how to attract them and feed them safely ,through the St Marys County library. After putting fresh nectar in my feeder we saw our first one on 15 April 2021 at 1830. So much fun to watch them

I wish they would change there 30 day return policy on seed !! I have COPD and don’t get out much , therefore I stock up on my bird seed. I tryed to exchange a bag of Nyger seed I bought in June , never opened ,all I wanted was a different kind of seed. They would not exchange it. So if your birds don’t like it there is nothing you can do. I am disappointed in the customer service I got in the Lexington park wild bird center. If it wasn’t for loving my birds I would never buy from them again.Unsatisfied Customer

The sales staff really know birds and give wonderful advice as to which foods are appropriate for specific birds you want to attract. Their feeders are a little pricey, but the quality is top-notch.
