Had a bit of a panic when my baby Celeste started to not feel good. The excellent staff down at VCA fit her in right away and took such good care of her. They explained everything thoroughly, what our options were, and got Celeste on the right medicine that had her back to her normal self in no time. We always have had a good experience when bringing her here for her normal check ups, shots, etc, but it's relieving to know that if anything urgent comes up, the staff at VCA has got her best interest in mind. A big thank you to guys!

My experience is always pleasant. The doctors are absolutely amazing. The staff is absolutely amazing as well. Especially the technical support team! I highly recommend this veterinary hospital. However, they are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for!

My experience with the front desk was fine. Lady was nice and got me into a room quickly. Things changed when I saw a tech.My dog is a pure bred German Shepherd with severe anxiety and very protective. The tech told me that If she won't calm down for the shots, she may have to be sedated (NO explanation on what kind of sedation), and that they "will try but they won't man handle her and risk injury to anyone".After asking health questions I was told by the tech that I would have to muzzle her because the doctor "is a scaredy cat". After I ask for instructions, and put a muzzle on my dog for the first time in her life, he told me that he would take her. I asked, "I can't go with her?" the tech said "no". I handed the leash to the tech to attempt taking her, and my shepherd retreated to between my legs. He tried pulling and calling her to no avail as I ask again, "I can't go with her?" and the tech says "no, that's not how it works". Then after she doesn't budge from my legs, the tech says "were gonna have to sedate her". I say "I don't think so", and proceed to leave.A one year old Pure Bred German Shepherd, with KNOWN anxiety issues, and very protective WILL NOT be ok with a stranger, in a muzzle for the first time, getting shots. The tech was CLEAR and ADAMANT that I could not go with my DOG "to the back" for shots. When my wife called and spoke to the lady at the front desk I dealt with, my wife asked what happened.(this lady only checked me in, and got me a room. She was not present during my interactions with the tech.) My wife was told, that I was NEVER told that I couldn't go with my dog for the shots, and that I was explained that sedation means a take home pill that I give her before her next appointment. Neither are true.Save your money, save your mental health, and go somewhere that cares about animal's and people.

We love the vets here! Dr Meadows goes above and beyond to care for our very complicated pup, and genuinely cares. We were very lucky to find her.

They took excellent care of my boy Brody in his last moments and honestly were great with grief stricken me. The room they had us in was perfect and he loved the treats and peanut butter. They were very patient with us. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a new vet that’ll really take care of you and your pet, there is no question that VCA should be your choice. They have always gone above and beyond to accommodate their clientele which is a HUGE bonus and proves they really value your pets needs. Each veterinarian and tech that I have had the pleasure meeting has been extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to your needs and concerns without you ever feeling rushed. After each visit, they make it a point to follow up via text/call which I personally find to be very sweet and personal as it is a real person messaging you and not some automated annoyance. My ONLY complaint would be the pricing. For a typical wellness visit, it is very costly which can be a deterrent if facing any financial difficulties. While they do have a program to help with financial assistance, price can still be a bit of deterrent. I really do hope that prices will be reevaluated one day because the customer service and hospitality are truly what keeps me coming back. The facility is very clean and they have shown to sanitize everything. The rooms are very well sized with seating which is great for larger breeds to prevent overcrowding. The main lobby is separated for cats and dogs to ease anxiety and possible conflict. They have a refreshment stand with complimentary beverages and also offer scented candles/sprays that are safe for pets and help aim towards tackling pet odors in the home.

I can't say enough kind and great things about this place. I recently had the one decision no pet owner wanted to make when it came to end of life treatment. From the time I called to the time I arrived, the staff was amazing and great. I believe the staff really does go over and beyond for pet owners. Thanks to you all for taking care and making the final moments of Harry's Life at peace.

I've been taking my pets to Dr. Forrest at VCA for years and had another great experience. My 11 year old Boxer/Pit mix was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Dr. Forrest quickly identified the problem, and we started the 15 week treatment plan, receiving chemo every 3 weeks. My pup just finished and is doing very well! He went into remission after the 3rd treatment. The entire staff is friendly and inviting. I appreciate their excellent care throughout the entire process as I was extremely worried about my pup. Dr. Forrest is an amazing vet and is one of the only vets in our area to provide these excellent cancer treatments. Thank you Dr. Forrest and the VCA Staff!!!

Dr. Meadows and her Vet Tech David went above and beyond making sure we had a set plan to help my dog feel 100% again. Their kindness and thoroughness are very much appreciated!

This is the best vet I have ever been too. Dr. Meadows loves animals and it shows in how she treats her "patients".I've never been to a vet where the doctor greets my dog with the same excitement that I do!Additionally, I brought in my dog with a mystery wound and Dr. Meadows diagnosed and treated her without knowing the cause. We eventually found out what happened and Dr. Meadows was spot on with treatment.Lastly, this vet gives you an estimate before doing any work so you aren't hit with surprise charges.I couldn't recommend Dr. Meadows and this practice any more!

I lost my Naluh of 12 years. 12 years of snuggling with her most nights. 12 years of nothing but love. This lost really has hurt deeply. I appreciate the love, care and support of the VCA staff, including a card we received signed by what appeared to be the entire staff. Thank you.

I had to take my 9-month old German Shep Mix here for a potential blockage. I was lucky that they could fit me in. There is a waiting area for cats and dogs and the entire area is clean and open. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful. The doctors were also kind and knowledgeable. My dog was wary so he had to be sedated for the x-rays, but they cut his nails and cleaned his ears while he was out. They brought me back to see the x-rays and walked me through their analysis and luckily he had no blockage. It's never going to be cheap to get a dog an x-ray, but I do feel that everything I was charged was reasonably priced. Really appreciative to the vet hospital, very kind individuals, and very pleasant. Would recommend.

10/10 experience and I will be returning! Dr. Meadows and Vet Tech Pat were fantastic. Worked with me on an affordable plan/antibiotic for my GSD (Medli), extremely friendly, personable, and professional all at the same time. Very happy with my experience. Great Vet office and staff! - Wes

Seriously, words cannot begin to describe how happy I am to have found this place. Wonderful first impression for our first time here today. My baby Gracie developed some kind of infection in her paw over the weekend and since my previous vet had burned down, I was in a panic on where to take her. Thankfully, I came across VCA St. Mary’s Animal Hospital. I was able to book an appointment online for the next day which was amazing in itself. Unfortunately, due to the last minute visit, I was not fully prepared leaving me going to this appointment 6 months pregnant bringing my dog in with my 2 year old also in tow via stroller. Needless to say, my hands were very full.As soon as I arrived, I was checked in and the staff assisted by taking Gracie to be weighed seeing that my hands were full. Once checked in, they got us into a room where we vetted and attended to. The doctor was absolutely amazing. She made sure that Gracie would take a liking to her and was very attentive in listening to my concerns. I felt very heard which ultimately led to Gracie being treated as she saw fit. They also did me a solid and was able to get her up-to-date on all of her vaccines. On the way out, the doctor went above and beyond and helped me out to my car so that I could get my daughter out of her strolled and into her car seat without struggle. Seriously, above and beyond. I will 100% be a returning customer and will gladly recommend VCA to anyone in search of a veterinarian!

Just love this vet facility! I’ve been to many and always come back. Vet & vet techs are super friendly and honestly care about your pets. When my well-loved cat passed unexpectedly they reached out with condolences and still talk about him when I bring my new fur baby in. They just truly care about the animals and their owners. It’s a pleasure to take my animals here for care.

Absolutely awful experience. After a seven week wait the only thing these people wanted to treat my dog for was an ear infection that I told them about day of. No tests, no nothing on a 12-year-old dog with heavy panting and tremors. Two days later I rushed her to an emergency vet convinced she was dying. I will never go there nor will I recommend. I'm completely disgusted with their lack of care.

I would like to share my appreciation to Dr. Meadows and her staff for providing exceptional urgent care for my dog on such short notice. Within 30 minutes upon our arrival they had diagnosed, sedated, x-rayed and remove an object that lodged in our dogs throat and was out the door on our way home in an hour. Thank you so much for always providing the best care for all our pets over the last 20 years.

I just got off the phone with a very rude and snippy receptionist. I was trying to call for my sick cat to make an appointment, but I wasn’t aware I needed paperwork since she hasn’t been seen here before. I just moved here unexpectedly from SC, so when I tried to tell the receptionist I would have to try to contact the clinic in SC to get the paperwork, she got extremely snippy and put me on hold. Then she came back to rush me off the phone without further assistance. A simple “I’m sorry you need paperwork before you can come here” would have been fine, or even alternatives if I was unable to receive the paperwork. She did not give me a chance to speak, therefore I could not explain my situation and tell her that I would call them back if I was able to receive the paperwork. Instead she rudely rushed me off the phone with an attitude for no reason. I would have hoped anyone I called at VCA would already have a good understanding that as a pet owner I am calling to help my pet, which most times involves more guidance and information from the employee. I called hopeful to help my sick baby but instead got left feeling worse about my situation. Consider hiring workers who can do the bare minimum of customer service. No one like that should work for the front desk of a veterinarian hospital, where so many pet owners go worried about their beloved animals.

My Mom brought her cat here with some significant health issues. The entire staff, especially the technician and doctor, took such wonderful care of her and her cat, making them feel like a priority. When she called her previous vet, they were unable to see her without making her feel as though she was a burden to be “squeezed in". I am a veterinarian in myself and am so thankful that she has a place close by where she can take her pets and feel that she is receiving the same care that I would provide her as family. She kept me updated from the moment she arrived in the parking lot and felt that your practice was run efficiently and professionally. Despite the unfortunate circumstances of Wallace’s diagnosis, she relayed that her experience exceeded her expectations. You have earned our trust and loyalty moving forward and I will be sure to recommend your practice in the future as well.

All Staff members were kind and patient with me, and especially my pets.Update: I did try reached out to someone about my concerns. Noone got back to me.There's this one particular receptionist who was very rude and condescending to me. While in the process of putting my pet to sleep, she came in the room demanding payment! Each time I came here I get service and when finished i pay in full, AFTER! Treatments and payments for whatever is needed was explained, printed, and agreed to before i go to the receptionist. My spouse took care of it and he was charged for what I didn't agreed to and he was given a small receipt instead of the typical itemized bill I usually received. I was going to overlook all of this BUT, when I came to pick up items i asked this particular receptionist to check if they have my current phone number, since i was told they tried to reach me several times and left messages and got no response. Turned out they had my old number still. The receptionist declared defensively that I never updated my number with them. I don't have time to play games especially with someone so unpleasant and unprofessional. I did voluntarily provide 2 phone numbers prior and they had my email, that never changed and i did not make a fuss about it when i COULD have. If they could not reach me one way, there's the email! With many practices I've been to the secretary usually updates all patients contacts each year. Dr. Leslie and a few other staff members were kind to me during my greaving. However, i don't think I'd want to continue coming to this practice because of my experiences here. I am a first time pet owner, and first time experiencing putting my pet down. I so regret my decision to do it here because of this particular secretary! And I don't want to deal with her again.

I've been taking our pup here for over a year. It's always a great experience.everyone knows our pepper by name, and he loves going to the vet solely due to the employees' attitudes.

My kitten had an appointment today 7/17 at 12:30 and apparently the office had double booked and decided not to tell us. My daughter was over hearing the front desk ladies talking about it and laughing. Many unprofessional words that shouldn’t be used in front of customers were said from staff. The gentleman who also had the same appointment time came after us and was seen first. The staff asked him if his pet was out cats name and he said no but still they took him first. The doctor walked by our room since I guess they didn’t realize we were there. The doctor was rude saying my cat was more upset this time and she would have to get some kind of medication before her next appointment. But why the heck wouldn’t the 4 month old kitten be upset after AN HOUR waiting in a crate . Over hour for a simple booster shot???? No explanation or anything. With how much this vet charges and over adds what they think you need ,I would expect more. If you are looking for a vet I might think twice about them here.

I'm not really happy with this Animal Hospital. So much so that I took my dog to a local family-owned veterinarian this month for another examination. I had a gut feeling that my dog hadn't been properly taken care of during her wellness exam. By that, I mean not properly examined and I was correct. Very disappointing to have to have my dog examined twice in less than 2 months but I'm happy I did - no matter the cost! I will never come back here and will never recommend.

I have always return to St. Mary’s Veterinary with my dogs. They seem to always have the best Vet Techs and Doctors!! Both always explain everything that is being done at the time of service. They make me feel comfortable and they truly treat my dogs very well! Their Care Pet Program is the best! I recently enrolled and it is well worth it! Knowing how expensive pet care is- they know too and all the more reason to join their Care Pet Program! I highly recommend!! They care about all animals!!

Capone is 20 years old and he needed a new veterinarian. From my first phone call, during which Lizzie was friendly and patient with my incessant questioning, through Capone’s first visit, VCA’s entire staff were incredible. Capone was very stressed during his visit but Suzanne was able to manage keeping him safe and as comfortable as possible during Dr. Powers’ examination. Thank you for your thoroughness, empathy and sincerity. We’ll see you again soon.
