New to the area so figured I would stop by some thrift stores today. My jaw dropped when I saw some of the absurd prices especially considering the condition of some of the items! Y’all would probably sell so much more if you would list things reasonably, especially s considering the fact that a lot of stuff is donated. I’ve never in my life been to a thrift store that charges as much as this store does. Might as well go spend money on new items. It also smelt like a mixture of burning feces in the store which was very unpleasant. I’ve attached a picture of worn down stained shoes that should have just been tossed but they were listed at $6. The only pro was that it was fairly organized.

Generally good selection and now well organized store. However the clothes prices are way too high for basic items and also inconsistent by brand type. It’s clear whoever is pricing the items have zero knowledge of women fashion brands and also apparently don’t know that Ross and Marshall’s exist. For example a rayon Walmart plaid shirt for $8! This was across the board with low end items from Target and Walmart priced the same and sometimes more than it would cost to buy new (yes even now with inflation). Please correct your pricing! Your prices are higher than DC and even some high end vintage and consignment shops.

Sometimes you can find some random good stuff and other times it's mostly junk. The last time I went there, I noticed there were certain items that were charged retail price. Why are you charging these USED items for retail prices when you can get a nicer version at the actual stores for the SAME price? I also got overcharged for an item and they made a bad assumption that I didn't understand Spanish when I do. I bought braiding hair that was $5 and she told another employee it was impossible then to do a price check. She then charged me $5 extra dollars despite what the price tag said. If I wasn't in a hurry, I would have disputed that charge and they don't accept returns, so using the receipt was useless. Never again, I don't recommend going there unless you REALLY need to, understand some Spanish (mainly Spanish-speaking employees) and are careful with counting your money or they will swindle you. I found better deals at the Vintage Value stores.

Prices are extremely high compared to other thrift stores in the area. Book prices are normally 50 cents at other stores, here I saw some priced for $15! A used stuffed animal was $5. Jackets for $25. They must think they are in DC or NY for these outrageous prices. I was looking at kids coats to donate, but would be better off buying new.

Personally as a regular thrifter this is a last resort. Extremely overpriced. I purchased a swimsuit which was 7-8$ marked🙄 , No that’s the price per piece. Top 7-8$ + bottom 7-8$ that’s outrageous . Unless there’s a sale I wouldn’t even walk in.

Went here to find baby clothes. I'm not sure why they're so expensive? They were selling single stained onesies for three bucks for example, meanwhile I can find brand new 3-packs for six dollars at the local department stores. Also all of the hangers were covered in some kind of slimy substance, I'm guessing it's some kind of cleaner since it left an overpowering chemical fragrance on my hands that hasn't since come off with washing....idk I'm not too impressed. But then again I did find a $1400 dress there about ten years ago that was priced at four dollars, so I guess it's just a real gamble, or maybe it used to be better there.Anyway I'll probably go to the Vintage Values up the road for baby clothes next time. Their selection isn't as big but they're priced at 50 cents apiece and there's no icky greasy feeling on the hangers.

selection of dvds and vhs tapes is really good. The store used to be dirty and unorganized but they have fixed that for the most part. Just wish they would replace the rusted sign because it gives the store a weird vibe. If your looking for clothes you should go somewhere else but for dvds and vhs tapes this store is good

The prices are WAY too high. Even with any sales they have, prices are STILL more than what these clothes would be brand new at a retail store. I saw a “ La plata tikes soccer t-shirt” used for $25….that is not a typo. I’ve been to a thousand thrift stores and these prices are by FAR the highest I’ve ever seen. Just do regular pricing on different clothes, it would save staff time and you money. T-shirts $2, long sleeves $3, pants $3, jackets $7.50… Also, thought some things were half priced because the color that day was beige but the lady said the tag I had was peach…they looked nearly identical in color..just do what typical stores do and have red, green, blue, white, yellow. I will NEVER be back in that store, bc as a thrift store, it should be affordable to people that struggle financially…and you for SURE do not get that from this store.

Was very excited when I saw their big selection of baby clothing but I’m so disappointed at the prices. $3-$5 each for infant onesies is ridiculous. You can find them for cheaper at target and Walmart for brand new. The other nearby thrift stores sell their baby/kids items for 50 cents each, which Is VERY reasonable for used baby clothes. I’d definitely go to vintage values over this place.

I was surprised at how high some goods were priced. I recognized some dollar stores items that were priced for a lot more than $1.00! I managed to find some decent deals. I wish they did not use a sharpie/permanent marker for pricing the hard goods. It’s very difficult to remove

I have donated many items and clothing to thrift stores and know of multiple people who have donated such items to this store. I have 5 bags of lightly used and some new clothing items I wish to donate as I have no use for them and know they would really help others. I was told on the phone that they don't take donations. I'm confused as to how people I know donate but the lady I spoke to on 12/10/2022 said my donations are unwelcomed. NOT seeking cash or receipt or praise for helping my community. I just want to give my slightly worn or some items new with tags to help people down and out. This makes no sense

Edit 7-1-23 PRICES ARE GETTING RIDICULOUS! BRING THE PRICES DOWN TO A RESONABLY PRICED ITEMS. THEY ARE CHARGING OVER $20 FOR A PAIR OF JEANS. NOT GOOD.Prices have gone up but the place and items are getting much better! Keep up the good work!

This thrift store is a mess. They have furniture piled up and you can't access most of the pieces to see what it is. It smells bad in there and just looks like a junk store. On top of all that they have some furniture listed at $300! I recommend Vintage Values or Habitat for Humanity instead.

I've always thift shop since I could remember. This shop is definitely a hit or miss on prices. If you take your time to search you will find something worthy and when you do, they'll hit you with a little over the top price tag. I do think their clothing rack should be a little bit more organized, just so that people can find what they are looking for. Besides that, MOST of their new-born tops are $1.50, which is great; since I buy as chihuahua clothes for the winter. If you can find old bed fitted sheets and small decorative pillows you can make it into a dog bed. Other than that, its okay.

The thrift store has potential to be good but falls short due to the fact that they overcharge for many things. Used shirts for 12 and 18 dollars. Also very high prices on old electronics. I have seen the same inventory for months and the reason for this is due to prices being out of touch. The staff is very nice. Hopefully they can adjust their prices and move some of their old inventory.

Great prices, lots of selections of clothing. Well organized with a Christmas section, scarves & coats, kitchen etc. The staff is excited to be there and they have a good time. Great music to shop to. I spent hours going up and down each aisle.

Decent. Has turned around well since opening a while back. Hit or miss as others mention but cant beat it if you hit on certain sale days. Good area for thrifting though with restaurant and other resale shop on the same block. They have a furniture section next to that now with decent prices. They will open it up for you if you ask Heather or Tyler. They are great emplyees!

I don't understand all these positive reviews, they must be fake. Interior is dirty, dusty, & building looks unsafe. The items for sale are just as bad & overpriced. Honestly, you're better off dumpster diving.

They had some cool looking stuff in the furniture room that I would've bought but they said it was closed today. I think these folks are trying hard to do something good in the community and could maybe use a little bit of help.

Best thrift store i visited in a 100 miles radius. Better than all the others a block and 5 blocks away. Really cheap prices that match the used and old stuff being sold. Real bargins here. Big selection that rotates with time. They also take donations.

Unfortunately Southern MD doesn't have thrift stores like we do in VA like DAV, CHKD, Salvation Army, Goodwill. This store has the potential to be ok however prices are too high and it is hit or miss whether they except donations on a daily basis. Needs to be clean and more organized

Average thrift store. I specifically go to thrift stores looking for electronics, albums and classic CDs. CDs were lackluster as were the album's but they did have the largest selection of the 3 thrift shops in Lexington Park. I found several in good shape that will require minimal cleaning to be playable. Prices are quite reasonable.

Huge thrift store with a donated furniture store next door. Clean and organized, you can find some treasures if you work at it. They are a little overwhelmed with donations due to the pandemic since everyone has been home reorganizing.

The person working would not open the other side. Would not sell an item that didn't hVe a tag. There has been other workers there that go above Nd beyond fir the customers but not today.
