I simply do not understand why Sneads does not price match other competitors. I always support local business but with today's economy it's a no brainer to save money where I can. Especially when I can find the same exact item $20 cheaper than the "sale price" Sneads advertise. Needless to say I drove down the street to the big box store and they did price match the item.

Friendly staff. While they don't carry everything, they usually have what you need, reasonable prices, and if unsure, just ask the customer help desk.UPDATE: Staff are still very friendly, but the store itself doesn't price match. This is sad because I want to support local businesses, but other stores (and even online markets) are quite cheaper lately in comparison. I recently called the helpdesk before buying an item elsewhere that was $100 cheaper and delivered to me quicker by mail.

My daughter and I came into your store on June 26 because I had carelessly locked the key to my suitcase in the suitcase. A staff member was stocking shelves near the front door and immediately greeted us and asked how she could help. We told her our dilemma, and without too much amusement, she took us to a service desk where 3 young men were making keys, etc. We told them we would buy a bolt cutter, hack saw or whatever was needed if they could help us open the suitcase. Within what seemed like seconds, one of them returned with a bolt cutter and cut the lock. They informed us we did not have to purchase the tool (I was already wondering how I was going to pack that large tool) and there was no charge. Out of gratitude we did purchase some MD souvenirs. I am sorry I didn’t get the names of any of the employees but everyone we came in contact with was extremely pleasant and helpful. Your staff knows the meaning of Customer Service. Keep up the good work.

Jimmy was very pleasant and was a great help with getting new car keys cut. I didn't realize Ace stocked and programed car key's and fobs. While I meandered around during the key cutting process I was asked by two other Ace employees if they could help me with anything. Everyone was friendly and the store is well staffed. Nice work Ace!

High priced, staff will have conversations with each other . And ignore the fact that you're standing there trying to make a purchase. Staffing is a very young generation and very immature and I'm professional. What is the closest thing in town and the hours are great

I confirmed online that the dehumidifier I wanted was in stock. When I arrived, it wasn't on the shelf. I asked and they brought one out from the back, put it on a cart, brought it to the register for me and even loaded it into my car. I feel like this kind of service just doesn't even exisit anymore. Very nice experience.

Sneade’s Ace Home Center is the place to go if you can’t find what you are looking for anywhere/everywhere else. So, save yourself from going to the giant big box store and just go to Sneade’s because they probably have exactly what you need. From hard to find specialty nuts and bolts to Big Green Egg accessories they have it. Super helpful and kind employees, clean and well organized shopping for your hardware needs. Highly recommended.

Great store, friendly and helpful staff, they will spend as much time as needed to help customers find what they need, and, just as important, will leave you alone if you don't need assistance. I'm very impressed with these folks, and I don't commonly say that sort of thing. Very good selection, and enough cashiers that there is seldom a line. Very well run and staffed store!

Recently remodeled and looks great. Some prices were better than Lowe's! Staff is usually very helpful, although some may require detailed explanations of what you are looking for. And found some herbs we wanted to grow as well, so that was a bonus!

Since their recent remodel, it is a very pleasant shopping experience now. It looks more open and clean. They still continue to offer loads of product that will help you avoid going into town to the big box store. They have plenty of store associates that is always offering to help you find something. This is my first stop place!

I shop here all the time and usually get great customer service except for today dealing with the manager who was very rude about a return for an item that was in the wrong box. Wanted to make some additional purchases to support small business Saturday but decided to go elsewhere.

Came in today completely frustrated because my toilet wouldn’t flush. A worker saw that I was completely lost on what to get jumped in directed me to the correct product and also provided steps to take of the product didn’t work. May seem small to most but he saved the day!! Thank you for your service.

So this is slowly becoming my favorite hardware store. Just enough help when needed from informed staff and friendly at that. Even friendly when you come barrelling thru the door at 7 minutes till closing. Definitely worth a visit for whatever you need are that can be filled there.
