This store is 20 minutes away from my house but I go to this store because they give food to the hungry often, not just on holidays. The store is clean also.

Food lion has been outstanding to me! I'm disabled & elderly and use EBT to shop! This store has been the soul of kindness & helpfulness by picking out my items & getting them ready to be picked up by family members! God bless them! They make me feel special!

I will never go back to this Food Lion. I typically frequent the Charlotte Hall Food Lion, since I was in Leonardtown I needed to go to this one. The customer service was awful. The store has poles in the middle of walking areas and the store managers were rude.

This is a great location that typically has everything you need for your grocery needs. Their prices are comparable to most other stores and, at times, cheaper. The checkout times are pretty good, and do a great job with the online ordering for pickup and delivery.

I was shopping on Sunday morning around 7:30 and was at the Cherries while the employee was stocking. I picked up about 5 bags and put them back neatly until I found the bag I wanted. Walked over to the vegetables and I heard the employee loudly say a bunch of animals around here! I wanted to turn around and confront him but he is not the most friendly so I left. I found this very rude and he should of never said that out loud and assume it was me! Very disappointed!

Everything was fresh and well placed in the store. I got exactly what I came for and more. The meats where exceptional. The staff was exceptionally kind and willing to server. The cashier was a patient and understanding for person. I'm a senior citizen and was slow on using the cards to pay, she was helpful and kind, even the customer behind was understanding. I think we could have done a commercial. Thank you.

Food lion is our go to for groceries. The one guy I believe is the manager is super friendly and kind. He thanks his employees over the loud speaker which is pretty wholesome. Prices are low too

You need to open up more registers when you’re busy. Was there last night only to purchase one case of water for my house after I got off work. Was after 7:00pm. Store was heavily busy with only 2 tills open. So of course EVERYONE was in a ridiculous line at self checkout. There wasn’t any express lane open. Why? You had about 10 employees standing around playing on their cellphones. You’re a busier store now. You guys need to get it together. That’s ridiculous. And my boss would say, unacceptable.

Store is convenient, clean, organized with a good variety. BUT if you go to the deli, plan an extra half an hour combined with patience to repeat the poundage you are seeking at least 3 times.

One of the better grocery stores in St. Mary's County, prices are excellent, service is great, though there are one or two things I'd wish they carried when compared to, say, Harris Teeter in California. That's the only nitpick I can think of; the fact that this store is close to where I live is a huge bonus, too.

Food lion was very clean and well organized. I had not been in b a while so some things have changed. Respecting 6 ft rules. Lots of space. I'm pleased with the improvements. Lower prices than everywhere also.

Stopped in on the way to visit relatives after a 2 hour drive and found the restrooms to be in good condition. We found the bag s of corn tortillas chips expediently and for a competitive price. Staff were friendly. Checkout was without issues and was prompt. If we needed to urinate on a long travel and this location was on the way we would happily relieve ourselves here again. 5 out of seven stars for a perfect score.

Very clean, well stocked but a little disorganized. Searching for things can be annoying. Prices are way higher than Walmart. However, convenience wise, if you live close by you wouldn't mind shopping there but if you want more bang for your buck and you don't mind driving about 15-20 minutes, then I would say head to Walmart. For example, one dozen eggs is $6.19, where as at Walmart its $2.38 or less. Huge difference!! Some employees are not very polite and welcoming. However, it is still a nice place to grocery shop.

Always a pleasure to shop at this Fiid Lion. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. Just wish Food Lion would start identifying products that are Gluten Free so people who need these products dont have to stand there and read every label. Thank you

I'm so glad we still have this Food Lion... I didn't like the store that took over the others at all.. And this one was the best anyway. The staff are usually always very friendly. It's always clean. I live in Ridge & still drive all the way to Leonardtown to go to this store.

The toilet paper was stocker in front of the wrong price tag and the associate would not give it to me for the price it was posted in front of. I could not get a greeting card down the bread aisle because the associate who was stalking bread had all the bread blocking the greeting cards
