Grooming staff was very friendly and an appointment was easy to schedule (esp as it was a same-day appointment). The groomer who was booked did not complete the service and I do not know who the young lady was who did. Not an issue since I won’t be back either way. I paid extra for the deluxe spa treatment add on which includes a “better” shampoo and conditioner yet my dog looked as if she was never even shampooed. There was a lot of dandruff still laying on top of her fur. It may have been residue from their “cologne” but if that’s the case a professional groomer should brush it off before they return the animal to the owner. Additionally her paw pads were not trimmed even though that service was paid extra for as well. I could smell some stink on my pooch and discovered there was poop on doggie’s bottom. Again making me skeptical if the service I paid $64 for was even rendered. The bandana that was also paid for was missing upon pick-up…This was my first at LAST time at this location. I’ve used PetSmart Grooming a number of times and have never had a poor result, this was sad and a waste of my money. I recommend using a different location.

Will never bring my dog back, the grooming seemed rushed and half complete . I dropped my dog off at 1140 and she was done by 12!! The last time it took a few hours. When it was time to pick her up the groomer Keena wasn’t there and a manager had to go get my dog from the back while I went to pay. When I came back the manager had my dog in one of those blue collars and it was choking my dog while he was checking someone else in but when I said she’s choking he didn’t even acknowledge what I said. Overall I don’t feel like they handle pets with care here, I love my dog and wouldn’t dare bring her back. Highly would not recommend unless you just need something quick like a nail trim so you can see your pet while they perform service

(Long Review) This is our 3rd time getting grooming services with Monee and I am happier after each service. It’s hard finding a great groomer for your fur baby that you feel comfortable with and I am one of those moms. Our first visit with Monee I was so nervous. She was recommended by a family member but they recently were let go of getting further services by Monee due to a incident. So naturally I was nervous. Only because my dog and his cousin are the same breed and a year apart so I just didn’t want what happened with their dog to happen with mine and I didn’t want Monee to deny service because of that so I was on pins and needles. But I was able to book and the first visit went smooth. I actually stayed in the store and shopped almost the entire time which is not recommended lol ended up spending a bill in that store that day lol but anywho, that 1st initial visit was the beginning of our new home at this PetsMart location with Monee. I was so nervous that when they called for me to come and get him I asked jokingly but very much seriously “is he allowed to come back”? And Monee laughed and said “of course! Your baby was so sweet. He just didn’t like the blow drying part. But he was so good!” Meanwhile, I’m thinking are we talking about the same dog because his little butt is a menace to animal society lol but she assured me he was an Angel and was welcome back. So of course I booked again, and of course the service just gets better. The 2nd visit my dog does better with the blow dryer, he gets even more comfortable. I get even more comfortable, just enough to actually wait outside in the car this time lol and to my surprise my baby was on his best behavior again. So much so, the staff shared a picture they took of my baby (which I had no issue with) of him patiently waiting on me by the door after he was finished. Lol I guess I took to long to pay and get him. But that 2nd visit was awesome. Today 6/28/23 was our 3rd visit and I am so happy. Each time we have gone Monee has had nothing but a big smile on her face and such a positive and loving energy. We always come at 7am and she is always on time. Even if I mess up and forget I have an appointment (2nd visit I forgot) she assured me it was okay and fit me in the next day early morning to accommodate my work schedule. Today, I got there a few minutes early to pick my baby up and Monee was completing the finishing touches on him and he saw me so I quickly left out so she could finish and when I say just watching her with my baby was amazing. Her gentleness and caring touch on him I can tell was soothing and kept him very much relaxed. He wasn’t agitated or aggressive. Even when he saw me, he knew I was still around somewhere but he let her continue to do her thing and that shows that he trusts her. I truly appreciate knowing that my fur baby is in such good hands with such a kind spirited person. I know I’ve said so much in this review but I had to. Thank you so much Monee for treating my baby with so much care and love and for putting my mind at ease when I am not around. You are appreciated and we can’t wait to see you soon. P.S. thank you for the 🍍 bandana. I didn’t get a chance to say thank you. I was so excited.

Iris is HEAVEN sent in grooming. This is my normal location, but since they were booked today (9/30/23), I went to the petsmart on Cherry Hill, RD…and that was my mistake.The silver spring location did a TERRIBLE job. (Don’t let Toye Wright at the Silver Spring location touch your dog….EVER).I begged Iris to fix my dogs grooming. She did so good! I will never cheat on my dogs groomers again! Thank you so much Iris!This first picture is before that Toye Wright did (I have more, they get worse). The second picture is what the amazing Iris did!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE TO BE GROOMED, EVER. They were supposed to groom my dog but instead SHAVED her. They said she was too matted but they are so incompetent that they didn't even realize that she is a double -coated dog. She is a Chow and Chows are NEVER supposed to be shaved. They charged me for dematting and furminator, two services they clearly did NOT perform because they SHAVED her. Not to mention, it is winter time and they left her with NO hair. I understand that Chows are a lot of work but instead of taking the lazy way out, they should have called me and I would have just picked my dog up. WORST PLACE EVER. Never even got an apology from management

This is a nice PetSmart location. I am always greeted when I enter and usually asked several times if I want or need assistance. I knew what I wanted and where to find it, so I declined help. I did stop by to visit the adoptable kitties! So cute! Want to help but at the pet limit of my lease.Easy parking, great staff, clean, well organized store. Highly recommend.

The cashiers always greet you when you enter the store...I went for dog food and was prepared to spend about $20 on the brand I usually buy...i made my selections based on that...when I took my selections to the register the cashier showed me a table where the same brand food I selected was marked half price simply because the expiration date was less than 6 months away..I purchased twice as much food and paid less than $20...Thanks Jerry...this store is always clean and well stocked...its easy to find what you need and if you can't there is usually an associate near by ready to help...they are nice ...

I took my dog Bella to be groomed at the Laurel location today. Her groomer Iris O. was so patient and kind with Bella (she gets nervous and has a hard time standing for long). Iris took her time to check Bella over really well, and took her to see the vet at Banfield to make sure a spot on Bella's skin was okay and wouldn't prevent her from being groomed. She is great with communication and called to remind me of the appointment and did an amazing job with Bella's grooming. This is the best she's ever been groomed. We will definitely be going back to Iris.

Smaller than most other PetSmarts in the area. They have a very limited selection of cat supplies compared to dog supplies. Still good service and friendly staff, just not the best store for cat owners imo.

Well maintained shop but was low on supplies and maybe personnel during my visit. I did not get the products I wanted and it took quite a while to get the attention of an attendant to put me through. When I finally did, she was quite professional and extremely helpful. She also made me understand that Tuesdays and Thursdays may have been better shopping days for me still they restock on these days. I was there on a Sunday. Otherwise, it was a nice shop.

The prices are a little bit more than most places but the quality is way better and the selections are way better and the pet food is USA either made, packaged, or from. Wouldn't go anywhere else as anything bought can be returned or exchanged, and since they use accounts keyed to you by phone, name, or club card, and not having your receipt doesn't matter as just giving them your info and instantly your receipt is printed out in front of you and off you go.

It was very clean n organized, my cashier was very pleasant . I had no issues getting in n out. Also recognized that it is easily handicap accessible. If u need to visit this location , u should have a great experience
