I rarely leave reviews because I believe businesses deserve to have good days and bad days it’s just human nature . However, scheduled grooming for my Martha Mae. Brittney, our groomer, is fantastic! We were looking for a new groomer and stumbled on a gem! Great job and I already scheduled the next appointment, every 3 months .

Informed an employee their crested geckos habitat was 10° above their maximum temperature and the Humidity was 55% too low, and that this will result in the gecko dying of heat stress. Employee remarked it was a temporary enclosure until it was purchased and did not address the issue.A store with live animals needs to take their care seriously. I do not believe this is a problem with an individual employee, but petco as a whole. The location in Glen Burnie has similar issues. Attached is a picture of the thermometer and hydrometer in the enclosure, as well as the care sheet on Petcos own website.

Truly disgusting. There are visible urine stains on the carpet in the foyer. When I dropped my dog off the smell was overwhelming... when I picked him up hours later, I - literally - gagged and nearly vomited. The entire store is literally soaked and soiled in bacteria. I have never visited any kennel, pet store, or other groomer that was even remotely close to being this disturbing. Management clearly needs to be trained. The grooming services were not fully completed - my dog's ears were definitely not cleaned nor his fingernails trimmed

I went to scheduled my dog to get a hair cut and nails cut. 3 hours go by and I hear nothing. It turns out the person working on my dog was no where to be found. I was furious because I gave them permission to take care of my loved one and they had no idea who was suppose to be taking care of him. It was extremely unprofessional, untrustworthy, and disrespectful. I would never do that to one’s loved one. If you have the option to go to a different location I highly advise you to do it.

Placed an order online for pickup waited for an 1 hour never received email to pick up so I decided to go inside a wait awhile. Plenty of workers on duty talking amongst themselves waited another 20 minutes. Got impatient and pulled my own order. Got register waited five minutes to be serviced, lady was not pleased I picked my own order. Apparently no one decided to check to see if any orders were being placed for pickup.

It's a good store. Online pick up orders are easy to do. I don't like the limited hours as this store closes early, and the parking lot is a mess. Since it's next to an Aldi it's difficult to get in and out during busy hours.

I am extremely disappointed with this particular store. Despite making several appointments for my dog’s grooming service, they consistently cancel at the last minute without any courtesy or consideration for my schedule. I’ve even taken days off from work to ensure my dog attends these appointments, only to receive a text notification just an hour before the scheduled time, informing me of the cancellation. This lack of reliability and communication is infuriating.I’ve given them multiple chances, but they continue to cancel appointments. As a result, I will not be returning to this Petco location, and I cannot recommend their services to others. Out of the five times I’ve attempted to secure appointments, only two were successfully booked and completed, while the remaining three were abruptly canceled on me—specifically on October 27, 2023, January 17, 2024, and February 9, 2024.

If I could leave a zero stars I would. I called to make an appointment 2 times. They took my name and number to call back and they never did. Called them back for the third time and they said that just come as a walk in. I drove for 20 min to get her and when I got there they said that they can not see me because I don’t have an appointment. I told them that I have made calls and I was told to come in, but the manager James told me that is nothing that he can do. He said that he has no idea of which of the employees worked the day before and has no idea of what is going on. So unprofessional, not even apologizing for their action. I took him to the Petsmart across the street, they are so much more friendly, and professional, they got everything I wanted done on the same day.

The store is small and cluttered. Normally, I shop at PetSmart but the price for the cat litter was just too good to pass up. No issues with the staff - probably a woman mgr.- who took the cart to my car. Very pleasant.

I've been there once or twice and it was okay, but it was also new at the time and even bad stores look nice when they're new. The vestibule that leads into the store is pretty dirty. That's about all I can say for the location itself. I don't know what the rest of it looks like now, because for some reason this store operates in the year 1950, and closes every day at 6pm. None of the other area stores close that early. Normal people who work normal jobs, especially in the DC-Baltimore region, are still stuck on 95 at 6pm, if they're not rushing to pick up kids or make dinner or take care of other errands.I don't know if the hours are a decision Petco made, or if the management at this particular store decided they don't want half the day's customers, but it's ridiculous and sort of makes it a necessity to shop at the nearby PetSmart (which I hate, but Petco has literally given customers no other choice if they're not able to shop before 6pm).

Look at my dog. I asked for a take down and trim of his butt, sanitary area and his feet. Look at how messy and choppy this looks!! They had to have just grabbed random pieces of his fur and just started cutting, and for $90. These groomers are horrible. I kept giving them chances but this is the last straw, effing terrible work.

They cut my dogs skin at the groomers and left him bleeding .They left his body bald and left him with a full head of hair.I come in to talk to the “manager” Terrance who didnt help me at all to get a refund on this . He looked at me and said the store manager isn’t here so he can’t help . I’m only available Saturdays because of work and he said no one can help me .DONT GROOM YOUR DOG HERE !! Worst customer service EVER ! $90 for half done hair and razor cuts . Ridiculous

The cashier is rude and she( or whatever is this person, shaved-bluish hair) doesn't even pay attention on the people in the line and will send you a the end of it. The store smells really bad.

Things have definitely changed in the last few months, I see nothing but new faces which is a good thing. I go here for the aquarium stuff, but stopped months ago because the selection was limited, saltwater tanks were bad and they were notorious about not selling fish in the last 30 minutes. I’ve been now 4 times, and the new girl Toy is awesome! She has been teaching me on how to build my system like an ecosystem. The importance of plants, snails and ghost shrimp! Also, she will order fish for you on Thursday if she doesn’t have it in the store. The tanks are always clean. I’m thinking of building a saltwater tank because of her! Highly recommended

This particular, Petco, I have to say they exercise in customer service, reassurance, and grooming very well I must say are you OK? Shih Tzu has been there several times they work with me. They’re very patient and for what it appears to be and what I have observed they show and demonstrate good customer service towards the parents of the dog as well as the dog. I had a emergency situation one time and I was in the hospital for two days And I was unconscious and I had no way of which now when I got out of the hospital I came there I have my dog my dog have been fed. They gave him something to drink and they even took him out for a walk. They did not take him to the dog shelter as of that time and I really really appreciate that even the more every time I go up there I will truly recommend the Petco I’ll be in law

I will not be coming back here for any of the grooming services. My little 5 lb yorker was groomed and she was cut. The lacerations were deep where she needs stitches. I am not sure how she was cut that way. When they called me to let me know that my puppy will be in the ER, they were not able to tell me over the phone. They took care of everything but my worries is that this is not going to be the last time or how many times this has happened. I understand that accidents happen. The first time they knicked her a bit and it was a big worry since my puppy is very anxious. This is the second time she was there and this happened.

I am lived! Stopped grooming our dog halfway through bc of her ears. Was told we needed to take her to the vet to finish. The vet said it wasn't a big deal n they don't know why they couldn't finish! Vet couldn't see us bc it wasn't an emergency as per petcos suggestion. Now our dog is halfshaved looking a mess! They could of atleast finished her body and left her ears alone.

First time was cool, but second visit sucked. Walked around looking for help to buy fish for 10 min. When I finally had someone to ask for help, they refused sale of fish because they were closing in 20 min. Had my toddler in tears.

Grooming offers an online scheduler but they change the date and time of the appointment without the courtesy of asking you, give no contact email or text number for a response and then do not answer their phone to speak with their customers. Very unprofessional!

Placed an order online at 9a for a dog crate. Called around 2 because still not showing order ready. They said oh yeah we will get it now. I show up 40min later and they still didn't get it. Said we will do it now! Waited in the car they finally come out and say actually they don't have it!!! They said the online inventory is always wrong. What kind of business is that?? They offered to up sell me a more expensive one or kist cancel my order and I can go to another store. Wow. Great customer service. If they had looked earlier they could have at least saved me the trip. Disappointing. Do yourself a favor and stick with petsmart!!

This is the third time I took my pup for grooming. Ashley probably like dogs because she definitely doesn’t like ppl. No proper greeting or even eye contact, then you get your dog back and not satisfied because she clearly doesn’t listen. I’ve decided to seek service elsewhere. Not wasting my money on horrible groomer and customer service.

I called and got in for a same appointment to get my boy his nails cut. They were extremely nice on the phone. I love that allow appts vs only walk in's like other stores. When I got there we were checked in, he was taken back and before I knew it he was all set. She even asked if I wanted to make my next appointment which I definitely did. Great customer service! I'm only sorry I didn't grab her name so I could use it in the review.

I am big fan of this location! Very nice that it’s in a shopping center like this so you can stop in while you’re already out for some pet food, litter, etc. Pretty big selection and nice staff, definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.
