I went today on black friday and when i walked in everything felt great and nostalgic. Came in to a nice greeting and a wide section of vintage toys, figurines and games. The owner even was selling comics for 1$ but instead gave it to me for free

Love places like this. So nice to be able to go through the toys that were popular as I was growing up. I think the selection here is great although a little disorganized but tua5s the allure of these kinds of places because it feels like you are digging for treasure.

Travel back in time to when you were 8 or 9 and this place will put a big smile on your face. Great selection of old skool toys, comics, and other memorabilia. If they don't have it from your childhood happy days, it wasn't cool. Good times!

Passed by this store all the time, always curious and finally had a chance to come in. It is amazing. It take you back, it's a vintage Toys R Us, filled to the brim with toys, collectibles, comics and more.I loved it and plan on coming back from time to time.I was able to pick up the 1st Appearance of Beta Ray Bill and I couldnt be any happier. Truly worth your time if you are an avid collector and are into pop culture. A true gem of a place. Also check out there ebay store!

They seen my messages about mix up in mail. I purposely contacted them on Messenger for proof they seen it. From the 30th til the 4th. They wouldn't contact me until Amazon contacted them. They did reimburse me but I had to tell them I'm legally im sending my proof you already had package back and ignored me. Pretty damn sad. You failed to put address and last name.

A must go see if you're in the area. A great walk down toy memory lane. Interesting and timely selection. They had a great sale today so picked up a few things. For the comic fan, a really good selection of graded comics that will fit any budget. I almost, ALMOST too home this Optimus Prime piece.

Kinda hard to get to. Lot's of vintage/retro collectibles in the store of varying quality but for the most part, pricing is not that good. You can find better deals at similar stores with staff more knowledgeable elsewhere.

Third time here and they have expanded since my last visit. One of the employees Todd was very helpful and informative. Amazing selection of vintage toys and comic books. I left with 5 Incredible Hulk issues and plan to return to buy more and to bring in as many newcomers as I can. It's dangerous being so close to my office. Update 7/1/2023 They were having a 25cent comic sidewalk sale. Haven't been to one of these in years. Picked up a nice stack of books and got to talk to the owner and an employee. Great guys. 10/12/23 Still one of the greatest selection of vintage toys around. If they don't have it then it doesn't exist. Seriously they have a great store and if you are looking for the nearly impossible gift for a toy collector they probably have it.

Definitely a large collection of items. However, some of the items are way overpriced. For example, they have an used copy of Lion King on DVD for $38! Of course, some of their items are cheaper than you might expect. It really just depends on what you are looking for.

Early in the summer of 2023 they put out around 100 long boxes of comics and sold them all for $2 each, then the next day the remaining books were reduced to 50 cents each. I found lots of great comics on both days and I bought more than 2 long boxes of issues. Then the next Saturday they reduced the price to 25 cents each! I was busy selling comics at a show that day, however they put out the remaining comics again on the following Saturday so I went back and I walked away with 2 more full long boxes! The owner provided free pizza from the nextdoor pizza place and free sodas to customers on the $2 and 50 cent days. On the 25 cent days there was free bags of chips and sodas.I found some good deals on some graded comics inside the store as well. The store is frankly overloaded with stacks of action figures and toys still in their boxes. They also have a table with record albums, trading cards and collectible lego.

Lost In Time Toy Store is one is the best stores in the DMV area. I have sold them old toys for a fair price and bought awesome new toys and classic toys alike to make me children happy and my inner child happy. They have a fantastic selection of new and old toys and their staff is always friendly, helpful and courteous. With the loss of Toys R US, it is the best option for anyone looking for toys or comics, new or old. I'd recommend checking them out!

I walked in and was immediately overwhelmed in the best way. I went in just to browse and ended up spending at least an hour combing through shelves of action figures. Walked out with about 10 pieces that day and I will surely be back again

I was looking for an alternative to Target for my kids to spend some birthday cash on a toy, and thought of this place which I passed frequently while driving on Rt.29 but had never visited. From the posted online reviews I wasn't sure if this store would be suitable for young kids (aged 2 and 4), or was primarily a place for adults to find retro collectable items.So, while my family waited in the car, I popped into the place to check it out before unloading the kids. I voiced my concerns to the friendly man (Matt) at the register, and he took a few minutes to show me around the store at the options available for young children. When I asked if it would be a problem if the kids were fairly hands-on exploring and playing with some of the items, he said no - it was a toy store after all, and to be expected.We decided to give it a try, and are glad we did. The kids really enjoyed browsing, and ultimately found two good sized vintage trucks (one Lionel brand new in box, another used but in excellent condition) which they have been playing with non-stop. Much cooler toys then they would have found at Target. I enjoyed seeing so many toys from my childhood as well.There have been several reviewer comments about high prices. While we were not shopping for any high-demand collectible items, I thought the prices were reasonable, and was impressed that the little bit of pocket money the kids had to spend got them such nice toys. Matt also gave my kids a surprise at the end of the visit, which was extremely kind as well.We'll be coming back, and appreciated the great experience - thanks!

If I could give zero stars, I would...On July 9, 2022, between the hours of 4:00 and 5:00 p.m., my significant other (S/O) and 12 y/o child decided to visit Lost In Time Toy Store. My S/O advised that he and my son were the only two people of color in the store, and upon entry, they were followed around the store by a Caucasian male cashier. My S/O overheard another customer come into the business offering to sell the store some merchandise. My S/O sells children’s toys himself, so he went to speak with the other customer regarding his merchandise. At which time, the Caucasian male cashier, followed my S/O outside to chastise him for inquiring about the other customer's merchandise. Upon re-entry into Lost In Time Toy Store, the Caucasian male cashier requested that my S/O and child leave the store FOR NO REASON at all. Lost In Time Toy Store racially profiled, discriminated against, and harassed my S/O and child and asked THEM to leave. I contacted Lost in Time Toy Store on July 10, 2022 at exactly 1:00 p.m., when the store opened. I made contact with the business owner and explained the situation, hoping that he would address the issue with his employee. Instead, he defended his employee and explained that he put my S/O and son out of the store because he was angry my S/O was inquiring about another customer's merchandise. That does NOT warrant being kicked out of a business. The owner subsequently tried to make this issue "go away" by patronizing us with a $100 gift card for use in his store. Why on earth would someone want to put money back into a business that kicked the individual out for no reason just one day prior? This is by no means a resolution. The cashier's actions need to be addressed rather than trying to throw money and merchandise at a problem to resolve it. I want to spread awareness regarding businesses that clearly do not welcome people of color, and instead discriminate against them.

AMAZING! My son was thrilled to find vintage My Little Pony toys at this wonderful shop. I was very impressed with the vast selection of comics, games, toys, and collectibles.
