Vanessa has been the only groomer that I have taken my Buddy to. From the very first baby cut till this most recent cut. Buddy is 16 years old now and will be 17 in September. I can't articulate the proper words to tell you how wonderful they are! Vanessa, Mark and Denise are so wonderful and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to everyone!!!

They have been grooming my baby Saint since I got him. Every single time they do such a fabulous job. Saint looks and smells so good. They take him from unemployed to employed & he’s the manager 😂😂

We took our 6 mo. old golden doodle for his first haircut. Vanessa was so patient with him. She did a great job! The other groomers that were there when we picked up our dog were also grooming dogs that we're looking really nice! The prices are great. The person at the front desk was very thorough making sure my dog had all necessary vaccines. Yes the building was aged but so what, they had all the equipment and love the animals. Isn't that what counts?

I absolutely adore Animal Crackers. My Boston Terrier has gone there several times. The workers are a delight to deal with and my little manz comes back smelling fresh and is happy.I highly recommend!!! One of the best groomers that I have dealt with in the Laurel area.

They always do a great job Grooming my pom. They usually can set me an appointment the same week that I call. My dog is very nervous and hates bath. They are gentle and patient with him.

We brought our 7 month old cocker spaniel for his first grooming and Vanessa was so amazing. She clearly explained what options she could offer and we are very happy that she took the time to talk to us. They really took the time to ensure he was ok. He looks great! We will be back for sure.

This place is awesome! The one star reviews come from a place of entitlement....so don’t listen to them. I’ve gone here twice for two different dogs and for both occasions everything was extremely professional. Mark is so kind on the phone and goes out of his way to explain the process. Vanessa is so knowledgeable and takes care of each dog as if they are her own babies! The first dog I brought in is a foster who was badly matted and Vanessa shaved him and gave me some pointers about a few things she noticed. The second dog I brought in didn’t even need grooming and to my surprise Vanessa was very honest about it. I brought him in to get his nails trimmed, and figured I’d go ahead and get him a bath too. She gave a quick look at his paws and said “He doesn’t need his nails trims. I’ll show you.” Then she took out a nail file, buffed a few nails, and then said he was good to go. She then further said that stressing him out in a new environment, (when he could get a bath at home due to his size) wasn’t worth it. I appreciated the candid response and even offered to buy her lunch. The honesty isn’t something you see everyday and it was so appreciated. The few moments of education and kindness went a long way. If you all have not heard of this place, they do a wonders.

Senior Dog Pet Owners Beware!!! I took my dog here for at least twelve years without noting any problems other than the salon on occasion was dirty. I was very pleased with the professionalism and tender loving care that was given to my dog. However, the last two years were horrible!! After telling the owner that I believed one of the groomers had mistreated my dog because afterwards she would no longer allow anyone (including me) to touch or groom her face, the owner eventually told me that she would no longer accept my dog for grooming. Her explanation for her decision was that she was concerned that my dog would have a heart attack or something because she was so traumatized when being groomed!? I felt betrayed and the owner's decision made me very angry. I thought Ms. V (the owner) was a friend...not to mention I have spent thousands of dollars at this pet salon!!! Would give this business zero stars, if I could.

We have been going here for years now to get our handsomest hunk of a Bichon, Moose, taken care of. We have not always been the best about keeping him on a planned schedule for his grooming, but they ALWAYS accommodate for him. Before Animal Crackers, we had a hard time finding and establishing a good relationship with groomers. We wanted consistency for him because we knew that as he got older, grooming experiences would become more stressful, especially if we had to keep bouncing around looking for quality groomers. Thank God we found Animal Crackers- quality groomers where my family and I feel that Moose is in good hands. Nothing but amazing things to say about the staff, especially Vanessa and Mark.

I miss Animal Crackers. I used to take the maltese from Owings Mills to Laurel just so he could be groomed at Animal Crackers. They are very professional, do a superb job and are also very friendly and provide exceptional customer service. The dog always came back looking super cute and smelling amazing and fresh. I have since moved out of Maryland but I miss this place a lot. Cheers to you.

I can't say enough good things about this place. My Sable suffers from anxiety. She gets very anxious and hypervenilates if she has to be kenneled or tied out in a room alone. Last time she ended up in the emergency room with bloat after being kenneled after grooming. I was so sad to see her beautiful coat getting more matted each day because mobile groomers were not taking new clients and other groomers didn't always call me back early enough for me to be there when they finished. She has a double coat so even though I tried, she looked a mess. Then someone told me about Animal Crackers. They listened to me, asked questions, answered questions, and gave me suggestions. They CALLED me when she was close to be finished. I arrived and she was in the front waiting for me with a gentleman who appears to be the owner. She looked gorgeous!! Her coat was shiny and pretty. She was not barking or crying or pacing. We will be back. I don't know if they realize how emotional I was when I picked her up. She is a rescue and I was devastated that even though I was trying so hard, I could not find anyone to groom her without her going through unecessary stress. We will be going back. I am so HAPPY!!

I made an appointment for my dog and we went over things on the phone. when we got there my dog was a little scared. He was growling and whining a little. Instead of calming him down or giving me a second to reassure my dog everything is fine . The lady at the front was very unprofessional and told me she didn’t want to take my dog and said “this is not how we want to end our day”. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very unprofessional.
