I would highly recommend shop 53 custom, tattoos, and art studio to anyone looking for a tattoo. Natalie did an amazing job with my tattoo. I found a photo on Pinterest that I thought was beautiful and it was black-and-white. I let her know what colors I wanted to give it that pop and she knocked it out of the park. The staff were very friendly and down to earth and made me feel very comfortable. They also have a record shop located in their shop with many genres. I stopped in the shop on a Thursday and made an appointment for the following Tuesday and let them know if there was an opening that I’d love to get in earlier and they were able to get me in on Friday instead of Tuesday of the previous week. Again I would highly recommend Natalie and Shop 53 for anyone looking for a tattoo. I love my tattoo.

Love the girls there and their work. Have got 4 new tattoos myself in the last 2 years. My daughter and wife have each got one. Ever squeezed my daughter in last yr when she was up from Florida. The ladies there are super talented. I will go nowhere else. Shannon even painted my 12 yr old's guitar, so now all of us have artwork from there.

I was referred to this shop by my sister. I scheduled a consultation with Darcy. The shop is clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly. I spoke with Darcy and gave her my vision and she made the process easy. She has an amazing personality! I can’t wait to get my piece done!! I’m excited!

Great experience! My husband wanted a forearm tattoo that doubled as a cover up and tattoo for our infant son. Natalie did a phenomenal job making his idea into reality.The shop was clean, trendy, and professional. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and welcoming. I was totally blown away with the whole experience. As soon as I walked in (and i was the legit walk in customer, no appointment), it felt like I was at the Chick-fil-A of tattoo shops- genuine and friendly (smiling) faces with an eagerness to help. The atmosphere was very laid back and welcoming. All of the ladies were hospitable and professional. Their attention to detail was very much appreciated. My artist Julianna was fantastic, professional, keen eyed, and talented. She was definitely the right person to do this tattoo. I'd absolutely use this shop again without any reservations or second guessing.

Literally obsessed with this place. It was my first time going and now I won’t go anywhere else for my future tattoos. It has a beautiful vibe all around. I got a thigh piece by Darcy and she’s amazing. She made me feel super comfortable and relaxed about the whole process. My husband came with me for support and he had the best time talking with the owner and another artist they have. We are going to get him booked for his next tattoo as well! I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I wish I could give it more stars. I can’t wait to go back.

Love this shop. There is a great vibe as soon as you walk in with all the art and merch right there for you to look at. The owner, Shannon, is a delight and was very warm and welcoming. The artists like working there and you can tell as a customer. I will be going back.

I went for my eighteenth birthday, and I don’t think I could have possibly had a better experience for my first tattoo. Everyone was so kind, and Natalie’s work is exceptional. She tattooed me along with my parents, and despite us three being family, she still cleaned and sanitized her chair and equipment thoroughly between our three tattoos. I LOVE this shop. I've had tattoos done by Lauren and Natalie and can't say enough good things about both of them. The shop is clean and inviting, everyone is respectful and kind. They both listened to what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions to make the finished work better than what I had imagined for myself. I only wish the wait-list was shorter! But that's also a testament to the great quality work being done and pleasant atmosphere of the shop that everyone wants to go there. Its been almost 3 months since I got my tattoo from this shop and I feel like it absolutely deserves a 5 star review. Better late than never, right?! I cannot recommend this place enough. The second I walked in the door for a consult with Lauren, I was instantly hooked. The vibe is on point, clean and super chill atmosphere, everyone was so welcoming and kind. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. The work Lauren did on my forearm was better than I could have ever imagined, a very sentimental piece that literally brought me to tears when I finally looked at the finished product. I have such a massive appreciation for this shop. Every artist is wonderful both in work and personality. I’ve heard so many good things about Shop 53, the shop is beautifully designed and very welcoming, really good vibes all around. This was my first time coming here so I booked a consultation online for a tattoo I was thinking of getting for awhile with anyone available. Natalie and the owner were so nice and welcoming, Natalie offered to do my consult and she had time to do my tattoo same day!! I was in and out of the shop within 1 1/2 hours. Shop 53 is so professional, clean and a really great atmosphere overall. Definitely recommend going there for a first or your next. Thank you Natalie and everyone at Shop 53, you guys are great!

I got an addition to my lower sleeve right arm. Natalie was amazing. Her work creativity and ability to bring the drawing to life was amazing. Also she punched in the colors without digging in my arm. No blowouts, amazing line work. I'm already planning to get something else from her. I'd highly recommend submitting art during their "artists calls" since they really try hard at offering space to new and emerging artists like myself. I'd definitely work with them again! Being that this was my first tattoo, I did plenty of research and took my time before booking with Shop 53. I found Natalie's instagram page and knew her artwork style meshed with the tattoo I was looking for. Within two weeks, Natalie had me scheduled for consult and actual tattoo appointment in the same day. Again, this was my first tattoo and I was pretty nervous about the whole process. From start to finish both Natalie and Shannon were the most amazing and professional artists/ business owners I have ever worked with. They made me so comfortable and made sure I was one hundred percent satisfied. I am so grateful that my first tattoo experience was with them and I know I will go back to them for more tattoos in the future.
