They have JO crab spice No. 1 in small l, medium, and bucket sized containers. They have jugs of old bay hot sauce.The bacon smells good AF, I'll add pics of the dogs and jalepeños sausage later. The steaks and butts looked divine.***UPDATE*** This Baltimore County family owned small business hits just as hard as it did a year ago. Yes, I just got more bacon. But bro, their strip steaks are so good, make you slap your mama, hon'.

Purchased a beef tenderloin for Christmas dinner. Beef was outstanding and service was awesome! Owner was helpful with questions and remedied a discrepancy with the order with kindness. Look forward to many more visits in the future!

first time in their store tonight and it’s such a perfect one stop shop to throw something together for dinner. the guys at the counter were great and super helpful, and their cashier is such a sweet lady. the meats i bought are beautiful and can’t wait to try them out! will be returning

Absolutely the BEST meats you can buy in Baltimore! The friendliest and most helpful staff!John and his team have made Greene's the #1 place to go for all your butchering needs!The selection of grocery items is fantastic! Fresh local vegetables (their russets are huge), dairy, and other selected items are awesome.We refuse to buy bacon from anywhere else! There's no comparison for the quality of meats!

I had the most wonderful experience with Greene’s Family Butcher Shop. I went in last week and ordered food for my son’s first communion yesterday. Due to the time of the service, I thought I wouldn’t be able to pick the food up Sunday because the store wouldn’t be open yet. John came in early Sunday, prepared my party food, and had it ready for me before the store even opened. He went above and beyond, and the food was delicous!! If you are having a party, I highly recommend Greene’s party platters and salads. He saved me so much time and work, and the food was amazing!

Always a great place to buy meat. Smoked a boneless chuck roast from there and it turned out fantastic. Their sage sausage has great flavor and their bacon is always cut just the right thickness. The ground chuck makes fantastic burgers and meatloaf... Simply put, the meat is high quality for a reasonable price. While there, grab some of the chocolate milk in the glass bottles. It's top notch on flavor and is so creamy; it's not the stuff you are used to buying at the grocery store. I drive 20 minutes past our grocery store to shop at Greene's because the quality of the meat is worth it.

These are difficult times we’re living in and it has become increasingly important to support local business.This is the reason I decided to shop at Greene’s Family Butcher Shop, but it’s wont be the reason I return. They had an incredible fresh variety of meat and poultry! I was instantly inspired by all of their options. Meat is always better fresh, so I held back and only purchased the owners ground Chuck. I was not disappointed - it was absolutely delicious. Made for an excellent burger!The staff was attentive, patient, and friendly.I look forward to becoming a regular!

Well..I wanted to love it but was disappointed. I called in the morning asking about beef short ribs. I was told they had bone in beef ribs. An hour later I drove to the shop and was told they didn't have any. Not because they ran out but because the guy told me the shipment had not come in that morning. Oh well..it was my first time going there and have heard good things so maybe I'll try again at another time.

1st time here. Drove past hundreds of times. Wish I hadn't taken so long. Just cooked up their in house made hot Italian sausage and it was fantastic! Bought some all beef hot dogs, a pound of bacon and a steak. Such a fantastic selection and the prices are coming down. I'll definitely be back. The meats looked fresh and of superior quality than the chain stores. And being family owned and local, you know they care. And it shows. 👍👍

Update: Mr. John Greene showed concern after my review. He has offered a refund which says a lot for his business. I changed my review to four stars. Thank you.Greene's was the best until now. Bought some ground beef on sale. It looked good. However when I opened it up the nose was telling me this meat was old and going bad. This has swayed my opinion about shopping there in the future. I never thought Greene's would do this. Very disappointed.

My friend highly recommended this local butcher and saw his Facebook videos giving us insight about what he offers.Well, on St. Patty's Day I wanted to get some bangers for bangers and mash.Keep in mind from his videos and texts that he would love to meet and get to know new customers. A nice invitation plus my friend has been going there for quite awhile.I walked in, straight to the butcher area, smiled and said my friend recommended me coming here and I've seen their videos.Well, the stare I got from the owner was not only insulting but he couldn't even respond to what I said. I think his son helped me but the owner just stared at me. Ft uncomfortable and uneasy.How could he say in his videos he's looking forward to new customers to visit but when one does, he has nothing to say. I thought that was rude of him.Well, you won't be seeing me there again.On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being excellent, I give Greene's Butcher a ( -50).Maybe you should brush up on learning about Diversity! And be kinder moving forward!

Our first time shopping at Greens. The store appeared clean, the staff was friendly and helpful providing good service. We purchased some fresh cut beef but haven't cooked it yet. Priced a little higher than the local supermarket but the quality of the cuts looked nicer and we try to support local family business.

Extremely friendly and polite staff. Top quality fresh cut meats at great prices. If you don't see what you are looking for ask. If they have it they will go back and cut it fresh for you. I asked for a butterflyed pork loin, the owner asked me to pick one from the case when i did he took it back and cut it exactly how I requested it. These folks really take a lot of pride in customer service and offering fresh quality products at fair prices. You don't find small business like this anymore, they are a true rarity.

1st time shopping there. Meat looks fresh. Prices seem comparable with other butchers - higher than groceries but you get fresher meat with more attention to how it's cut. Butchers helpful and friendly. Lots of marinades and sauces available. Local milk, desserts, Log Cabin candy. Next time in will try potato salad. Definitely going back.

Wonderful little store. Bought many meat products. They have Boars Head deli meats and cheese, which in my opinion is top shelf. There were 2 Butchers who could not have been more professional and kind. I requested a few things ie: small bones for my Dogs, cutting meat into smaller pieces and slicing deli meat a special way, it was No problem. I will patronize this market every chance I get, and tell all my friends.

Wonderful service that will custom cut to order. Meat quality is your standard grade but is extremely fresh and well cut. Impeccably clean. Have only left once without what I came for and that was my fault for looking for a common cut on a Saturday at 5pm that had sold out already. Love this place!
