I frequent MegaMart for 2 reasons, variety and price. Customer service is Ehhh 🤨 not the best. Im a strong believer of giving back to your customer and or community. But I honestly feel like it’s an insult to the customers spending $75 plus to just get the item they give out. I strongly advice them to either keep what they give out or upgrade to atleast something that people will actually feel appreciated for. Maybe a 2 litter soda of any kind that customer would like and feel good about. I went again today and I actually told them to keep what they was giving out. 🤦🏾‍♂️ megaMarr please do better. The customer base you guys have and the amount of mount you guys make from the customer should be better.Pitiful!! What the heck is this. What is it. I put that right back. And it says 1 free 2 liter soda, but none to pick from. False advertisment

Make sure to check products. I have my with mold. And they are over pricing the product.UpdatingI went last week of Sep 2023 same situation. I think they just overstock things and quality get lost. I just recently went to shop and here we go again. These products have mold.

I’ll be honest the prices are too high tbh I wish they kept the shoppers and the mount rainier area needs better representation. They took away price rite and it took them almost a year just to build the lidl. I wish the people in the area along with the officials had more pride in the area bc if this were Montgomery county it wouldn’t be like this. Needless to say though I cannot complain about the customer service I just don’t think a megamart is what we needed we were better off keeping the shopper and maybe replacing the price rite with a Harris teeters or Whole Foods.

The selection of meats here is amazing! They have a butcher in house to cut the meat you select. What I don’t like of this place is everything else is ridiculously expensive. They don’t price anything on the shelves meaning it’s a secret price and expensive. I refused to buy anything other than produce and meat. In doing so I save a lot compared to other stores!

Love the store, their items are reasonable and the vegetables are fresh. The only issue I have is they are not inclusive, the staff only speak Spanish and can't really assist you if you have questions or need help. So, basically it's a Spanish only speaking store.

Good fresh seafood options and produce, but really a lack of any gluten free options you'd normally find in even a smaller store now. I'm also not a fan of the layout of the store, but that is just preference. Price wise they were in line with what you expect. If they would increase their gluten free selection, even if it is just a few small shelves I would add a star to the review.

My experience is and was great. Always have great products that I like a lot. Always have great things from food to non-food products. I also like the area where you can check-out yourself. You can scan your items your self and then you pay and bag your items, and then you'll be on your way

I come all the way here for the variety. They usually have the fresh specialty fruits and veggies I love. Well stocked. Cashiers need to stop trying to avoid customers.

The cashiers and staff are nice enough. I like the bakery products, although could be stocked better and cleaned up. Like other customers, I'm concerned about the seafood department. My husband and I had the unfortunate experience of returning bad salmon that I paid over 17 dollars for. I don't have much experience buying fish and was naive and trusted the fish was fresh and did not initially check. Upon closer inspection when I got home, the fish was darker and rough on top and slimy on the inside. It smelled strange too. I'm glad I had the sense to ask my husband if it was fresh before I put in the oven. He was not happy. We just moved to the area, never thought I had to check the produce to make sure it was fresh. I'm glad we are fine and well.Update on my review: Don't judge a book by it's cover, in this case the grocery store. Having now shopped here for years, I've come to notice this is an underrated grocery store. No rif-raf, just honest hardworking people and their families quietly shopping. The produce looks better. Fruits and vegetables are still a bit pricey, but the dairy, dry and canned foods are very affordable compared to safeway.

I have just moved here from Georgia. I was looking for a good grocery store and now I've found it. The workers were so helpful and kind. I'll definitely be back. Made me think of my store back home. I felt so welcome

Great fresh food! Lots of tropical fruits and vegetables! Fresh fish and excellent meat with in-store butchers and fish mongers. Lots of latino foods and amazing dairy products. Great latino music makes it a fun place to shop! BTW, opens at 7:30 am, not 7.

SFW used to have the best prices but now competes with Giant and Safeway. The donuts are still colossal, BUT, they now skimp on icing them. They have more donut varieties, but skimp on toppings. Otherwise, they're still worth 4 stars. Ample parking always.

Store is closing this month. The new store is megamart a large Latino grocery chain. Seems nice, just starting to add seafood. Some items moderate price. Small but good produce selection.

It's as though you want the consumer to buy what you want us to buy. Instead of you having what we want to purchase, in stock! Let's start with fruit, no pears. Now, bread. No Essential Twelve Grain in stock. This issue is on going! I'm considering another food shopping option, Giant, Safeway, or Wholefood.

Hey I'll drop a review that's actually a review. I used to live in NYC where finding fresh herbs and produce was easy. When I moved to the Hyattsville area that became very difficult. In fact near impossible. Finding things like fresh basil, fresh rosemary, or fresh thyme was like finding a needle in a haystack. And the Shoppers that used to be here didn't help with that....Enter Megamart international. This place not only has what Shoppers used to have but way...way....WAAAY better produce and meat selection. I walked into the produce section and saw bags of FRESH basil. And let me tell you as a home cook who likes Italian food...literal tears of joy were running down my face knowing that they have it now. And we as a community can ALL benefit from. Please do your shopping here. Support it so it doesn't close.

I was pleasantly surprised. This store had everything. I mean everything! The only drawback was the bad smell by the chicken section. And the prices where nice on my pockets. I will be returning soon.
