The older lady of the 3 cashiers figured out that 2 of my 3 glosses were accidentally canceled. So glad she was there eventhough the other cashier knew because I would have wasted time/gas coming back. Wish I had gotten her name. That was awesome customer service.

Customer Service was poor and very limited......tho I was able to piece together an outfit for my son's graduation ceremony clothes were all over the place on floors and not in the right department. Sale items under the price were not on sale, so this cause alot of headache and back -n-forth with no help. Literally they on people they have in kids dept is the cashier, only one at that....Macy's need to hire.

This store today was a terrible mess , I don’t know what happened but it was clothes everywhere in the floor, nothing good at all , I give them two stars because of the perfumes department, the lady at Valentino area was so nice

Needless to say(but I will anywho!) ; )MACY'S used to be, even HERE in Hyattsville, MD., a purdy fancy, and even a wee-bit awe-inspiring, not to mention "a serious-priviledge" to Afford!Well, it's still a "character-builder" to Afford, but i must confess, not soo much....awe-inspiring! Try searchin' for a pair of dress-slacks with 38 waist, and 31“ length....forgettaboutit!And they ain't makin' employees like they 'used' to, either.Yet, if one isn't deterred by such idiosyncratic behavior patterns..."HAS A NICE DAY"! ; )

Don’t even bother to call the store. They don’t even have a working phone system and their Jewelry Department is horrible. There is no accountability-I asked to speak with a manager and there is no one available. Not even a MOD on the floor. No one who can explain why I called for 2 hours and could not get anyone to answer the jewelry department.

My experience here was so terrible! First of all, there was no indicator to specify where the online pickup was. That was actually no problem. Upon getting there, no one was actually there to work or attend to us and i politely asked a lady and all she could say was I would have to wait because she was on break while she just stood there and watch me wait! My experience there was so weird and absurd!I would give absolute 0 stars if possible

I picked up my order from here today, opened it up when I got to work; not only are they the wrong shoes, the wrong size, and they have been visibly worn! I would like to know how was these shoes allowed to be packaged and shipped off? I contacted customer service immediately and was told the shoes came from a warehouse. They can have some more shipped for me to pick up. An investigation still needs to be done bc how was this allowed to happen in the first place! I don’t pay money to end up with used worn shoes, this is unacceptable. And I expect so much more from Macys!

A very large store (2 floors)2 with the latest fashion for men, women, boys and girls as well as household items. It carries lines from top designers. Currently have a 40% sale on selected items. A place you can get good deals, particularly if you are a member. Staff are also very welcoming and helpful.

I went here to find a perfume my mom likes to purchase for her as a gift. She knew the brand but didn't know which specific perfume she had tried. So I asked for a sample of 2 of the fragrances that I thought were close in line with her description of the fragrance so she could try them and let me know which one was the one she liked. They said they only give samples to people who make a purchase. Really?? I find this funny because a couple months before that I was given 2 samples of a different brand which I went on to purchase. So instead of getting her a large perfume for her gift I went somewhere else and got her a purse size trio set for her "samples". Giving them another chance, I came in again and was about to purchase a perfume and because I decided to walk it down to purse size the salesperson walked off and left me to take someone else's larger purchase. After seeing that I decided I no longer wanted to make a purchase. Now I'm a VERY heavy perfume buyer, I keep purse sizes on me at all times and the large bottles at home... and a loyal shopper... who went on to buy FIVE large perfumes elsewhere since this happened all because of their failing customer service.

I went here on my birthday (January 27th). They had a DJ playing great music! It was party music and very family-friendly. The Store Associates are very friendly and open to help you with whatever you are looking for. The place is clean and all of the merchandise are well kept in place.The only problem was most of the escalators were out of service; so everyone had to share 1 escalator just to walk up or down to get to their desired destination in the store. That was the only issue. You had to stand aside to let the other person pass by you if they are walking up the escalator while you are walking down the escalator. That's how crammed it was on that 1 escalator; it wasn't great.. But you just have to maintain a sense of courtesy to others and eventually.. You will get to your destination. That's all folks!

Yesterday I was visiting my mom in PG County and we stopped by Macy's. She had an account with Macy's for many years. I was so surprised and disappointed that the entire store was in the dark and there were people shopping. This cannot be safe! We decided to go elsewhere.Just curious how the employees are expected to work in those conditions! Is there a Union to protect them?Also, tried calling customer service and I was put on hold twice and then hung up on!This would never happen in different zip code outside of PG County.Please do better by your employees Macy's!

This Macys is hands down the worse Macys around. It’s sad this place is suppose to be a little upscale (“house of stars”) but is filled with more junk then a thrift store. The cashiers move at sloth pace! Extremely bad service over all. If you’re visiting the area do not come to this Macys I PROMISE YOU WONT find ANYTHING In the clustered junk of clothes laying around. Also, I was told by an associate that Nike have pulled out this store as they simply can’t display items to sell them.

I go to Macy's for Parfume! The customer service is has gotten very unpleasant! The Parfume counter staff is very disconnected with customers. The staff that work for the Parfume brands are very disrespectful to the Macy's counter staff.

Place was well stocked and clean. However, the furniture department lacked in overall appearance and functionality. I remember this department looking professional and appealing to make you want to buy but no, it was the opposite. The cheapest furniture stores looked better. Even their sales people (manager) dressed sloppy in jeans hanging of the butt and a beat up sweater and talking on his cellphone. A couple came in and had to ask him to acknowledge and even help them. It took about an hour to buy a sofa we already knew we wanted because the Macy's credit card people didn't do their job well and he had to contact them more than necessary further, we could barely understand the phone reps in order to complete the sale. Our salesperson, Cary, was very helpful and transparent and did a good job considering the challenges we had. Customer service is just not what it used to be. No more pride in being of service to others.

1 asked the girl who was working in the women department with a blue shirt to give me 2 separate bags, she ignored me I wasn't greeted after I said hello to her she constantly ignored me when I told her I had the Macys card and that's what I was gonna use to pay which. If you don't want to be there then don't work there she's rude for not acknowledging that the customer is right in front of her . This is terrible service this is definitely the last time I visit this Macys . I spent over $350 here next time I will be taking my money else where .

Macy's in Hyattsville or any other location is not the destination that I recall growing up in NYC. If I had a way to describe local Macy's stores, it would be "ugly". Nothing about the store says come in here and shop. I get the, "get what you need and leave", vibe from them.I do appreciate sales people in different departments being willing to ring you up and get you out of there. I also really appreciated the price check kiosks that are posted throughout the store because floor staffing is not a priority.
