I’d rather this CVS just close this pharmacy for good and conduct an investigation on this particular pharmacy. I have always had issues with ONLY this one. Each time I go I see other people have issues as well. Pharmacy staff are all monotone and relatively unfriendly. I started using another CVS pharmacy because this one is always a HOT MESS. I finally had to come back to this one because it’s 4 minutes away from my home, but it’s been a week of me trying to pick up my prescriptions and there’s ALWAYS an issue.

Worst CVS Pharmacy Ever! Extremely rude, unprofessional and disorganized. Everytime I've came in to pick up a medication (that they left a message saying was ready) is never ready or some other issue. They've been understaffed since forever. STORE PHARMACIST, Njualem Nwelatow is severely lacking in leadership skills, professionalism and tact.I really hope they find better leadership to run this pharmacy.Side Note: the store staff is friendly and helpful. It's a Shane to have to be associated with this pharmacy location.

Sometimes you find better pharmacist that care about their job and the people with health issues that come in but NJUALEM NWELATON, the African guy is the worst pharmacist on earth!!!! If you’ve been to this location you know who he is!!!! His picture is in another review. He does not need work in the pharmacy field!!!! He is RUDE, has an ATTITUDE, and avoids doing his job. I’m surprised that CVS corporate office has not looked into this guy. I literally hate interacting with him because I know he has a total lack of empathy for anybody and does not have great customer service!!!! He told me that they did not have a prescription in stock and would not check to see if it can be ordered or even if another pharmacy had it in stock. He was just being rude for no reason. He was just saying, “we don’t get this.” Instead, check to see if any pharmacy has it in stock or see if it can be ordered. I ended up going to the CVS pharmacy down the street to get the prescription filled. But hit the “LIKE” icon if you know the rude African pharmacist at the Sargent Road location. His name is NJUALEM NWELATON. His picture is behind the counter and even in one of the one star reviews.

This is the worst cvs I’ve ever been to and the workers are very rude. They need a new team, the manager is rude and the employees are no better. Who can I get in contact with because this made me stressful.

I have been calling for 3 days. Once on the phone for over an hour and they hung up. Then after 15 times on the ridiculous automated system it hangs up on me while waiting on the phone. And the stupid app tells me I have to call the pharmacy for my prescription so explain to me what I’m supposed to do.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. I walked in to get prescription for pain after an accident, immediately the manager and another staff started lurking and counting all the items around me. They started labeling all the items which implies that because I am black I would steal, then the Pharmacy staff on the other side of the counter made mockery of me referring to me as a chuwawa with muscles. I almost pressed charges, but was too much in pain to continue. Close this racist store down.

ZERO STARS! This is by far the WORST CVS PHARMACY i’ve ever been to! Customer service is horrible, very rude and unprofessional. The pharmacist seems miserable. He needs to get fired or should retire! This pharmacy could use new management and new staffing. Please take your prescription somewhere else. Good luck!

I just spent my morning looking at the reviews on this cvs just to make sure we are not the only ones having issues with this store! I saw all 1 star ratings and that’s because the rating won’t allow a zero. This store is a perfect examples of top leadership failure. I don’t even blame the store or the managers at this point. There is tone of feedback here that executives should pay attention to and provide the support, training, and development this store needs! However this ratings and feedback it is just being ignore. It is simple. There needs to be better customer service at this location. It takes hours to get someone from the pharmacy to answer the phone. However if you drive and go inside they are not busy. Instead they are on their cell phones talking. It cost nothing to pick up and answer a few questions. Top leadership must answer to this.

This has to be one of the most incompetent and rude staffs I've ever seen. I went to pick up four prescriptions that were supposed to be ready. They didn't even check the computer and only gave me two claiming that the others would be ready later on. I went the next day and then they said it should be ready in an hour. An hour came and then they said the truck hasn't come in it should be in around 7:00 p.m. which is conveniently close to the time they close. I went back at 7:00 they said they don't even see a prescription for me in the system I told them to look for the birthday. Really I had to tell them that? SMH then they try to send me to another store which they could have done in the morning when I originally came. Not 30 minutes before all pharmacies are going to close. Did I mention this is life sustaining medicine? They need to change the entire staff out this place is horrible thus the two stars in the review section. Not a coincidence.

This particular CVS location is one of the worst. The last two times I went to go pick up medicine it has been a couple of the most horrible experiences I’ve had at any CVS.The first time I was at the store they told me my medication wasn’t ready when my doctor had already called in the prescription. They told me it hadn’t been authorized by the pharmacist yet and recommended me to come back later that day. I returned later that day and waited about an hour only to be told it wasn’t in stock but they did end up finding at least one bottle. It’s a shame when you don’t even know how much inventory you have. They also mentioned one reason they were behind is that they claimed the pharmacy had been closed for several days for whatever reason. I personally have not seen that pharmacy (not the store) closed for several days at a time. The second time (which was the next month I had to get medication) was pretty similar to the first time. Meaning I was waiting at the store for about an hour before I was told that the pharmacist needed to authorize the prescription even though my doctor has put in the prescription two weeks prior. After waiting some more time I was told it was out of stock and I had to go to another CVS to get it. They sent it to the other CVS where I had to travel some extra time and distance to get to but at least they had it ready immediately. I should note that again they told me that the reason for such a backup was that the oh racy had been closed for several days for some reason.I think it’s pretty clear why things are so out of order in this particular CVS location. They don’t have enough staff to handle all the duties and be more response for ensuring things run as smoothly as possible at this CVS. They have one person (the pharmacist) running both the prescription area as well as giving vaccines. So there’s also backup for people who come in to get vaccines even when they have appointments which is required at this CVS location. I told the staff that CVS should contract a company with trained nurses to come out and be present and manage the vaccines while the pharmacist and other staff are handling the prescription area of the pharmacy.

The store says they open at 8 am yet I got here at 8:30 and it was closed and the employee is in their car in the parking lot. It’s not a holiday & I just need to pick up a few things & drove 15 minutes from my normal CVS because of stock. Online it even says the store is open. Open on time

Horrible!!!! My doctor prescribed antibiotics and I went to CVS to pickup the next day; the agent asked me to wait an additional hour to get my medicine; I drove off! I've got better things to do than wait an additional hour! Then they have the audacity to call me three days later (recording) informing me that my prescription was ready. CVS is ridiculous!!! Horrible, time consuming and a complete mess!! I feel sorry for people with serious health issues depending on CVS pharmacy.

Waited at the pharmacy for an hour to get my prescriptions, they handed me a bag, and when I got out found out one of my prescriptions was missing. Went back, waited in line, was told they were out of stock. So they said they would transfer it to another pharmacy. Drove across town, was told it was never transferred. 4 days later get a text saying it is ready for pick up at the original CVS (Sargent Rd) in those intervening days I was issued a new prescription. Not wanting to waste another day to only receive one of two prescriptions, I waited for the new prescription to be filled. 4 more days go by and it is not filled. I call and wait on hold only to be hung up on (without ever speaking to a human) multiple times. When finally get through I ask when it will be ready/in-stock they say they need to put me on hold, after a half hour on hold they hang up on me. After 4 more attempts to get through they claim they "just received it" and can fill it that afternoon. Prescription medication is not something optional you can wait for and fulfill whenever. (By the way, my doctor also said she was hung up on by them). I know they are understaffed and undersupplied, I an not mad at the staff of the pharmacy (waiting in line I never saw anyone behind the counter have a single moment to breathe) so much as I am mad at CVS as a company for allowing it to get this bad, this is not ok.

This evening, my daughter called me and told me that my son was vomiting; so ran to the Sergeant CVS; just 3 minutes drive. I got there 10:47pm, and the store closes at 11pm. I begged the young man that was standing at door; he told me to wait outside until his manager will allowed me to enter the store, but that man manager said no, and walked away. I told God almighty to punish that man, and his generation. I cried because my son is sick, and was vomiting seriously 😭 , and the funny thing is; the man is an African like me; so it pained me too much that's the reason why I cried 😭 this evening.

This CVS is accurately rated. On 4 different occasions in the span of 1 year, I've gone to pick up my meds after receiving a call that they were ready and it either wasn't ready or they didn't have the medication all together. The pharmacy is very limited. Also the drive through is rarely open for prescription pick up.

I had a bad experience in this CVS. I placed an order for medication and I was told to come back in 20 minutes. On coming back the order had not been processed, the pharmacists did not even know about my order and I had to start allover again. Even worst, nobody said I am sorry or apologize about it. The have to be aware that they are dealing with medications which people need to get on time to avoid delay in treatment, someones conditions could be getting worst due to such a carelessness.

Go to another pharmacy. Disrespectful staff. They don't care about patients. Folks have been complaining about this pharmacy for years. Look at all the reviews complaining about the pharmacy staff. It's 2021 and nothing had changed. CVS HQ just tolerates this poor service and behavior from their pharmacy staff.

The gentleman there has no willingness to serve his customers. He let me stay in line for 20 minutes and later told me to make an appointment. I have to go home without getting any help from this man and his attitude was bad. He should serve his customers better who mostly are patients, or let others sever them. His coworker, Rebecca, was trying to help customers who have complained. Rebecca deserves a better coworker than this gentleman. If there is any management team reviewing this comment, the date and time was: October, 7th 2022 at 12:45 PM.Thank you!

They manage to put the wrong address on my prescription bag even after being given my new address. I haven’t lived at the address they put since 2014. I caught an upper resp infection and the hospital gave me a prescription. So Its been supposedly unfinished since 9 am this morning till 4 and wont be ready for another hour. The manager at this location needs to be changed out because it’s not the first time and they do this to every single person who goes for a prescription. Mind you this location doesn’t get busy like the others.

I went to pick up medicine for my wife, she had a surgery and went for pain medicine, and the manager Njualem Nwelaton make me wait for 15 minutes, I was the only one at the beginning but after that time 2 more ladies came to the pharmacy to make a line...He was just looking at me but never stops to being doing whatever he was doing... He's the "MANAGER" that's ridiculous....The young lady came to help me because she saw me standing there, and the other ladies behind me,..This kind of things shouldn't be happening at any pharmacy, if someone is there is not just for candies...

I showed up 15 minutes early for my COVID test as suggested. When I arrived there were 5 cars ahead of me. I ended up being 67 minutes late for my appointment because of the slow service. When I finally got to the window, the pharmacy technician was JUST making my test. She took my ID and insurance and walked away for 20 MORE minutes. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. They are not prepared or trained well enough to do their job. I have never experienced this at a different CVS location.

Lunch break 130pm to 200pm 207pm they open drive they...212pm I'm asked pick up? The phone to communicate isn't working typical poor service as usual the norm for this location...I always prepay so it's easier for these incompetent employees and they still take forever coming back with my prescription...normally they lie and say the system is down...female employee told me they are short of staff last time...sounds like a management problem...absolutely the worst cvs..Ask Dee Fair Common Sense 101/you tube.

The pharmacy at this location is incompetent. Good luck.8/2022…Years later update: The pharmacy and pharmacy customer service staff at this location have done a complete 180. In all fairness, I realized I needed to update this review. Perhaps corporate heard the cries from our community. The electronic signature/pmt pad machine needs a new pen (it’s been broken forever) but that’s just me nitpicking, lol. Good job CVS Sargent road; credit where credit is due! 1 star to 5 stars:)9/10/22…They fixed the pen AND have a full bottle of hand sani 😘

Usually I don’t have any issues with this CVS but today there was an associate in the pharmacy window with pink hair that was not attentive to her job. I gave her the medicine BOTTLE I needed refill only to be charged for the highest prescription that was held for the person then to only be told the medication I’m trying to actually get can’t be refilled and I can’t get refunded for the wrong prescription purchase I just received

Scheduled a COVID test 3 days in advance. Been receiving texts constantly reminding me of the appointment. When I arrived to the drive thru for the test, I was told that their system had been down for a couple days and to reschedule. Unacceptable, a courtesy call to reschedule would’ve been appreciated.

Sept 17 I had a COVID19 test in which was lost by CVS. I also had my mother with me she received her negative results the next day. The concern and care was horrible in regards to my test. I rescheduled and the new appt was cancelled when I called to verify my time. Man laughed and told me not to come the network was not running, again call was terminated and he was still laughing as he hung up .

This CVS is typical of pharmacies located in a low to middle income urban areas. They offer services for money orders, but their equipment remains broken for long periods of time. Their personnel offer half-hearted, forced greetings; if they offer any greeting at all. The place could use some brightening up (a paint job perhaps), newer shelving? Its a dim place, and when I absolutely have to go there, I can't wait to leave.
